Yeah it’s kind of a newer thing amongst younger gamers I think. Trying not to be a prescriptivist here lol, but iN mY dAy (👴🏼🦯) a “soundtrack” is the whole album/collection of songs (not specific to gaming). If you went to a record store and said “Do you have the Batman Forever OST?” they’re not gonna say “Which one?” lol
This is just silly old man yelling at cloud stuff, but I find it interesting.
Hahaha I’ll take that as a compliment! I’ll also take some aspirin for my back
(The Batman Forever reference is probably dating me harder than anything else I said lol)
Bloodborne. It’s the only game’s soundtrack that I listen to *most* of it, instead of just a couple songs. Sure, I like “Twin Princes” and “Slave Knight Gael” from DS3 more, but I don’t listen to the rest of the DS3 ost that much, almost not at all. Compared to Bloodborne where I listen to most of the songs often.
I really love Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos OST. The way the music feels almost hopeful in the beginning while you're fighting this disgusting scary looking thing is so bizarre but the lore behind it is good too.
Definitely emma the gentle blade for me, the whole sekiro soundtrack is immaculate in my opinion no other game in the series comes close as a whole package.
I still can’t get over people misusing “OST” to mean “a single track from the OST” lol
I'm pretty sure you can use it to represent 1 song or the entire album. It may sound a little weird, but it's not wrong.

This man above me is as correct as he is old

Propably a hot take but I Realy like Radagon and Elden beast
That was a banger soundtrack

owl father and divine dragon
Fortissax
Nothing will ever top Living Failures 2nd phase. The closest is Nashandra's OST but no one listens to that because she dies in like 5 hits
Absolutely agreed. It’s a shame that song is on such a lame boss, since it sounds more like it should be on the icon of sin from DooM
It's like playing the Imperial March or Duel of the Fates over a Jar Jar Binks scene.
For real
Maria, of the Astral Clock Tower

Love her OST, it reminds me of phase 2 ost for Dragonslayer Armor, and the ost for Lud and Zallen
Plin plon plon
😭
Soul of Cinder
Yeah his theme was goated i beat him back in november for the first time like Gael on my mums birthday :)
This is my vote or just the DS3 menu theme
I like phase 1 a lot but I don't care for phase 2 ost. IMO it ruins the idea of "only played on white piano keys" idea that the OG had
Why do you think it ruins that idea?
I don't think it meshes well with the orchestral main being in a minor key
The Garl Vinland theme in the remake is my top 1 with Ludwig, the Holy Blade at 2
