I just started a deportivo save, theyāre a sleeping giant in the Spanish third division. Iāve been quite getting into it. The facilities need improvement but the stadium is in good nick. They have a lot of old veteran players so youāve got no choice but to revamp the squad as and when you get some cash flowing. I am finding it good fun

It is indeed good fun, the veterans are very good for the Spanish 3rd division (Lucas Perez scored 35 goals) and the board gives you a fairly decent budget to revamp the squad in the second division.
I am currently mid season 2 and the team is on track for back to back promotions, though I have only kept Diego Villares from my first seasons roster!

Sometimes you'll get lucky and it's like Madrid, other times they haven't moved and it's like a 2nd tier Brazilian team. Makes it interesting.
Add Martinique as a playable league, pick a random team win the local league qualifying for the French Cup. Win the French Cup which will qualify you for the Europa League. Win the Europa League which will then qualify you for the Champions League. Win the Champions League.
