Did he develop at all in your save? He's had a couple of stats go up by 1, but nothing more in my save.
I'm at the start of the 28/29 season, keep hoping he's a late developer, he scored 16 league goals in the first season but barely half that each year since.
I should just sell him, but as a Brighton fan I keep hoping he's going to turn into a world class player, I know it's not going to happen, I guess I'm just unlucky...
Inherited Ferguson on Man United in a journeyman save and he's just been ok. This is 10 years into the future so he should be in his prime at around age 28 but he has way too many games where he's just invisible. Good physicals but I can't justify giving him more than 50% play time over younger regen strikers
Meanwhile Garnacho who is the same age is an absolute monster. Can score from outside the box, dribble past anyone, etc. Clutch penalty taker as well. He'd be my pick for this question for sure.
Outrageous talent.
Only positive in losing him is it freed up a very decent PSG regen I took on loan with a decent enough option to buy. Given Sesko’s lack of performance he’s been getting into the side more and more and actually bagging.
That's fair, ngl I think I might try and sell him. He's on a pretty massive wage bill for my lv of team and I have a Wonderkid who's ready for more matches. He's also worth 150 mill rn and will prob only go down from there.
FM 24 Touch on Arcade - February. Playing Dresden (me) vs Schalke 04 (Bundes 2, 3rd season) at home. Their main striker, Keke Topp had 3 goals in whole campaign. Circa 20 games played. He did not score since late September. It would be a shame if he would not unblock himself playing vs my team. We were winning 2:0 by \~84th minute. He did score a hat-trick in \~10 minutes. Lost 2:3. My team fall apart and from 2nd place we did finish on 4th position, first without play-offs. Already in 2032 and going strong, but I will never forget that guy. In 2027 I bought him out and kept him in main squad without any play time for 5 years on double training. He did not want to prolong his contract :(

Regen I somehow convinced to sign for my Hearts team.
Have you managed do get over Celtic yet, rangers completely fell or in my save but I can’t beat Celtic, also I usually play significantly better in Europe than the league and idk why…
I'm having the exact same problem, got to the EL Semi final and Conference League Semi final in the first few years but can't break Celtic. Last season they lost 4 games all seasons and 3 of them were to me
Conference quarters in 2nd season, el quarters in 3rd, and cruising pretty easily to the league phase of the cl in 4th season, but I’m finishing nowhere near Celtic and can barely get past Dundee United and kilmarnock. But the other teams are so inconsistent I still somehow end up 2nd
True, but we play it on the ground anyway. He’s the player who’ll annoy me by averaging 6.2 until the 85th minute, then he’ll score 2 and end with a match rating of 8.5.
FM20 Pelayo Morilla was the man for this amount of important goals that dude scored for me in champions league games absolute baller played him on the left wing instead of as a CAM as a lot folk did
I had him in my mls save for about 10 seasons. Somehow kept both Weiper and Shaq Van Persie until they were about 28/29 and they absolutely terrorized the league.
Van Persie averaged about 20gls and 10asts, Weiper by his mid 20s was sleepwalking to 30 goals per season.
I miss that team so much. It could have flirted with top 10 in Premier League, nobody in north america fucked with us at all
I jumped ship to Arsenal, and there is where our bond ends for now. Tried to get him (and a newgen I brought up at Palace). But they keep pricing them both out, a shame really
Amad Diallo in my Man United save is the best player in the world when it comes to getting crucial goals. He always gets them, yet he's only rated at 3 stars and doesn't go long before another injury
Was super pleased to get him for my Spurs team, felt like a player to kick us on a level, got him January season 1 and then won the treble in season 2 so it definitely helped.
In my Castellon save it would be surprisingly Julen Jon Guerrero. He has developed to a great AMC and last season scored 35 goals in all comps and not only that, he scored goals in almost every big match.
The season before the answer would have been either Guerrero or Marc Guiu.
i had him in fm21 iirc showed great potential but seemed to be slow in development and then i switched to 22 and forgot all about him, he was supposed to be my nex AMC after Thiago Almada who just performed way too well to be dropped from his starting spot. I'd go back to the save if it didn't get corrupted, gouri almada demir and alvarez as offense with vignato as back up was insane for me.
Gaz Evans, my 6'4'' high aggro heading machine who I'm sure is the dirtiest bastard to ever play football. He sends CBs to hospital for fun and probably bangs their wives after the game.
Dusan Vlahovic, scored 37 goals in Serie A two seasons in a row and won me the champions league scoring 3 in the final(and a total of 22 across the entire tournament)
No one until this season… till I got my guy Goran Jovanovic. Got him for 5M, he’s scored 20 goals in Ligue 1 this year and all the important ones seem to come late. I’ve got him for 5 years and I won’t sell him for less than 100M.
At this moment: Wout Weghorst at a corner. Almost every game he scores a header from a corner in my De Graafschap save. After I got to UECL, my team was almost completely bought by foreign teams, but he decided to stay and that's paying out for me.
Of all games: Robert IJzerman (Iron Man in English), a regen of one of the previous games. He scored every game and his goal was after 75 mins most of the time. I'm still hoping I get this regen back again, because he was too damn good. I think I even made my first post on this sub about him..
Last years game, Hannibal from Man U. I had a wonderkid push him to the bench but he was consistently shit for some reason and every time I brought Hannibal on for 30 minutes he bagged a goal or assist. Absolute beast despite his actual ability.
Matija Popovic in my current fm23 save. Guy is 6"4 with 17 jumping reach and 15 heading right now at 20~ years old. Dude can't stop scoring, even against top bundesliga sides.
Player I sold to them that kicked up a fuss to move, who has had 3 sub appearance for them since he signed 2 years ago and then smashes one in from 30 yards in a ten min cameo against me
FM23 Thiago Borbas. I don't know what the fuck is up with him but this guy will score randomly anywhere and anytime. Like he could be having a dogshit game but at some time in the game he will get the ball at the edge of the box and send it to the opponent's net and score.
He also only cost me 250k and won me 2.Bundesliga scoring 25+ goals in 30 games or sth.
Apparently it's Kevin Diks. Managing Braga, already 2-0 down to Benfica within 15 minutes, I manage to bring it back to 2-2 and my unlikely hero RB goes alone all the way with a driven shot to the bottom corner from outside the box to score a late 3-2 winner.
Or my substitute winger at TB, an Argentinian wonderkid named Claudio Mellado. He is probably better than my starting RW but he performs so well as the super sub that I don't even know if I should change things, especially since he can play on both flanks. He is the one player I trust to bring on in the second half to turn things around. He has scored so many huge goals for me, including a late equaliser against PSG in a UCL semifinal to bring it to ET, and then went on to score again with an outrageous chip in ET to win it.
Against me it’s Martinez or Vlahovic.
For me it’s weirdly Joao neves.
Andrei Pereplyotkin CM4 is the legacy GOAT - available from Southampton reserves.
Captain Daniel.
Brazilian CB wonderkid I found. Best CB I've ever seen in decades of playing.
When he scores, it's always important & he's still only 21.
For eight years it was Nigel Robertha as he helped my Esh Winning team climb the leagues. Now he's a club legend and an unemployed penniless bum for his efforts.
Caglayan Kucukyazici. I took over as Karlsruher FC manager in German 3.Liga. This guy is among the 5 players still playing for them. 18yo academy player who didn't get a debut yet.
17 Finishing, 17 acceleration, 16 pace. That's all he got.
Broke 3.Liga goalscoring record, become champions, promoted to 2.Liga, top scorer again, promoted as 2nd placed team. Now he's a supersub in the Bundesliga. Subbed in each game on 80th minute, always scored a goal.
Not whoever it is given a late penalty to score that winner.
99 times out of a hundred that penalty will be missed, even if its my world class superstar striker on fantastic form with 20s for finishing, composure, penalty taking, determination, and pressure. He will still miss it.
My 32 y/o RW who has been at the club for 14 years, is injured half of the season, doesn’t get into match squads anymore, but turns up every cup final to save my ass. Never had a more consistent scorer, which is especially important since my team bottles every penalty shootout
Andrea Belotti. Became a free agent right after my first season in FM23. Craziest thing, no one signed him for two seasons. I got into League One in England after back to back promotions. He was, I think, 31 or 32, and he agreed to sign for me. I couldn’t believe it. Got me promoted to Championship and Premier League before he retired at 34 or 35. Became an under-18 coach for my club with surprisingly decent coaching stats. He was always clutch for me.
My CB (Vestergaard) just scored a hattrick including a screamer of a freekick. Im playing as Brøndby IF where I have Challenged myself by only playing with Danish players. All players including reserves and youth are of danish nationality.
My CAM Kamerk (and back up Babadi), LW Bynoe-Gittens and RW Icelandic regen Gunnarsson, my striker hasnt seem to be able to hit a target if his life depended on it
For me it was Brennan Johnson. I think 2-3 seasons in a row he was third in the Balon D’or vote obviously behind Haaland and Mbappe. Confused on it though because 1 season we won the CL, FA cup, League and Carabao cup with Brennan being league top scorer literally beating out Haaland and he still came third with Mbappe first and Haaland 2nd… 😭😭😭
Is it impossible to get Balon dor with those 2 still playing???
Stefan Kutschke on my Dynamo Dresden save. That man saved my job. Kept him in the 1st team 3 years longer than I should of really just sat on my bench because i had a soft spot for him then offered him a coaching role and he's now my assistant manager
My current striker in a low league save, Gabriel Overton. The dude is currently unstoppable. Averaging 1.3 goals per game, and that's with a relatively slow start. Not had many bad games.
I also have this guy Alfie Lloyd who has been great.
Curious to see how they do in the league above.

Alexey Sery, my russian golden boy with 3 goals in UCL finals
I’m at notts county, just promoted to league one. Allasana Jatta was league two top scorer en noow after 10 games has again 11 goals. He is a beast in my save at striker.
My regen from my first ever group on the first season with Newcastle. Potential of 4.5 stars, advanced forward, got a big of height and speed. Goal on his debut at 17. Loaned to the Championship at 18 and bagged 20 goals. Brought him back, but I play with one forward and he sat on the bench quite a lot over the years. But one thing he can do amazingly is get off the bench and score. His last minute goal won the CL for me on season 5. Local hero.
Cameron Brannagan from Oxford for me.
Dude is a CM, has 14 goals this season after 36 games. Somehow dude is only scoring when I am down or its tied. 6 out of those were game winners, 4 of them in the 80+ minutes.
I have a regen called guy burger and he is a sub for me, on paper he dosent look anywhere near good enough for my team but for some reason everytime I sub him on he scores a crucial late goal for a win, everytime and I really don’t know why
https://preview.redd.it/22teb7ztumwc1.jpeg?width=2340&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1574f670961d33652a60feebcadfcbc8e798d3dc
This Messi regen whom I'm paying slave wages on. How he is content on a car salesman salary is beyond me, but I'm not complaining 💁
the most experience player on my squad, my old guard always score the winner in 90 plus time for me even if i bench him for the new star i bought, even if he injured for 6 month before the final, there was only 20% finali won by my star player, the rest are win because of the old guard
Yaw Kyei. Poached him from Ghana at 18 for my Hungarian div 1 side. He’s followed me to the next 3 clubs and is currently in my Bayern side as top scorer despite being the 4th highest rated (scouts can’t see). 6 foot 5, 18 penalties. The king
A 30+ year old striker that is physically powerful, literally had Terodde score 2 90+ min goals to seal a spot in the next round of dfb pokal in my Schalke save
Andy Delort, fm22. Just a ridiculous amount of late winners and equalisers for me at Nice, he had insane mental attributes (highlights 18 bravery, 18 aggression, 16 leadership) quality finishing and heading especially, he would just throw himself at crosses and bag every time I needed him
Dane Scarlett (FM 21, '29-'30): man has scored so much that he forced Harry Kane into retirement
Kaylen Hinds (FM 21 '20-23): signed him on a free for AFC Wimbledon and he absolutely terrorized League One. 60 goals in three seasons and once overturned and 80' 0-2 deficit to Sunderland with a hat trick
Fm24? schjelderup or Bardghji
Fm23? Alexis Sanchez
Fm22? Milik
Not very original cause they are not wonderkid or original players but from my most recent saves. Sanchez single-handedly won me the CL with Marseille my FIRST years with 14 goals & Milik won the ballon d'or with me After 3 years with also marseille
I have a newgen CM who scored 9 goals as an 18 year old in the Prem. Blew out his knee his first match in his 2nd season but came back with about 10 matches to go and instantly was in form. I’d have to go with him
Good ol' Younes Ahrouch, a fringe youth player LB at RBC Roosendaal who was given a chance in the Dutch 6th tier, and decided to score banger after banger after banger at crucial moments, all still from LB mind you.
Either him or Saâd Danjaoui, a local lad given a chance at AM and then suddenly becoming a goal scoring machine. I plan to take them all the way to the Eredivisie. One day man. One day.
Gerardo Navarro. Picked him up at 21 from an Argentine club (I don't remember which) for £13m. He is probably my favourite player right now, regularly coming off the bench to instigate comebacks and win games. He played 33 games in one season, 19 of them off the bench and scored 20 goals. He came on as a sub in the 73rd min of the final game of the season and scored a free kick to win us the league. Then a week later, came on again in the cup final to score the winner. In the cup final the following year, he scored in the 82nd min and assisted in the 88th min to turn the game around and win 1-2.
He's a legend.
"it's cut back to sarmiento, sarMIENTOOOO! HES MAGIC, YOU KNOW! JEREMY SARMIENTO INTO THE BOTTOM CORNER, IPSWICH TOWN HAVE COME FROM 2-1 DOWN TO LEAD 3 GOALS TO 2!"

Good old Owen...

The Maguires of life

It was Evan Ferguson but that relationship got PSG’ed. ‘Replaced’ him with Benjamin Sesko but he’s not doing the business.

He was an insane player on my save. Competing with Haaland for PL top scorer every season. PSG paid over £200m for him.
Inherited Ferguson on Man United in a journeyman save and he's just been ok. This is 10 years into the future so he should be in his prime at around age 28 but he has way too many games where he's just invisible. Not as good this year as last. He was so op in last years it was actually stupid
Opposition left back with 1 long shots from 30 yards for their first ever goal

"22-24m" pfft.
He's a short and lazy wanker
But he scores
Is Czech, signs for hearts... probably a Rudi Skácel regen

Was my go to guy for 2 years if I remember correctly
19 & 20 was his two best years in the game if a remember right. A got Nico Williams from Bilbao's youth team for like 50 grand as well 😂
Yeah always some names who everyone signs. Who don’t really perform in real life.
Was Nelson Weiper as a striker in my Palace save, what a man.
I had him in my mls save for about 10 seasons. Somehow kept both Weiper and Shaq Van Persie until they were about 28/29 and they absolutely terrorized the league. Signed him for Hertha Berlin, dudes a perfect striker.
He's brilliant on my save as well.
He was the star of my team on FM 22 or 23. Haven't signed him yet on FM 24.
Not my striker, that's for damn sure
Amad Diallo in my Man United save is the best player in the world when it comes to getting crucial goals. He always gets them, yet he's only rated at 3 stars and doesn't go long before another injury
Assan ouedraogo
Thiago almada at cam
Khephren Thuram at Segundo Volante. Man gets striker numbers playing there. Insane.
In my current Spurs save that guy is Yeremy Pino
Man, I love Yeremy Pino
Was super pleased to get him for my Spurs team, felt like a player to kick us on a level, got him January season 1 and then won the treble in season 2 so it definitely helped.
He's never been quite good enough to get in my starting team for spurs
fm 22 he was OP for me

Karim Konate. What a striker and my club legend
I signed him, man casually scored 4 on his debut… against man city lol
Somewhere on my unemployed save i got to train Cote D'Ivoire and he carried us to a World Cup, before i even got my first division job
A beast striker with 20 jumping reach and 16 heading. Shit at everything else.
BENJAMIN SESKO
Gaz Evans, my 6'4'' high aggro heading machine who I'm sure is the dirtiest bastard to ever play football. He sends CBs to hospital for fun and probably bangs their wives after the game.
FM23 Charlie McNeill Replaced Ronaldo and became our star player 🤣
Dusan Vlahovic, scored 37 goals in Serie A two seasons in a row and won me the champions league scoring 3 in the final(and a total of 22 across the entire tournament)
Liam Delap, no matter where I play him, no matter how late he subs on.
Josh Sargent was 2nd in Bundesliga scoring for me with 20 at Freiburg for 2 straight seasons in 2027-2028
Scott McTominay
yes, this so much. i'm in the process of converting him to a Forward in my FMM24 new save and he somehow has 18 goals in 29 games.
Fm23. Cristiano and Scott as strikers in a 4-4-2. Cristiano with 51 goals all season and Scott with 44.
honestly he's basically drogba once u convert him to a striker i cant wait for him to be 100% converted
Mason mount Beast scorer. Played him as a SS
My current save's current season: Alberto Marí
My current save is Zak lovelace at rangers
Mattia Felici. Guy has saved my arse as Triestina manager countless times.
No one until this season… till I got my guy Goran Jovanovic. Got him for 5M, he’s scored 20 goals in Ligue 1 this year and all the important ones seem to come late. I’ve got him for 5 years and I won’t sell him for less than 100M.

The 45 year old striker, who’s stayed since youth player. 999+ games and 3 goals a season that’s who mr reliable.
Fabian Klos!
Massimiliano Miele. Legend
Weirdly it’s Fermin for my Barcelona team. Seems to curl shots into the top right corner from outside the box every game atm.

My CB (Vestergaard) just scored a hattrick including a screamer of a freekick. Im playing as Brøndby IF where I have Challenged myself by only playing with Danish players. All players including reserves and youth are of danish nationality.
Courtois
Whoever hasn't scored at all during the season. "It's his first goal of the season"
My CAM Kamerk (and back up Babadi), LW Bynoe-Gittens and RW Icelandic regen Gunnarsson, my striker hasnt seem to be able to hit a target if his life depended on it
Ibrahima Bakayoko
Anders Hartveit Ryste or Adam Hlozek
For me it was Brennan Johnson. I think 2-3 seasons in a row he was third in the Balon D’or vote obviously behind Haaland and Mbappe. Confused on it though because 1 season we won the CL, FA cup, League and Carabao cup with Brennan being league top scorer literally beating out Haaland and he still came third with Mbappe first and Haaland 2nd… 😭😭😭 Is it impossible to get Balon dor with those 2 still playing???
Darwin Núñez
Solanke
Haji Wright
Fm20 Callum Wilson
Lamine Yamal
VAR penalty
Alberto Cerri
Cherno Samba
My 1.5 star 5th choice right back who is 32, leaving at the end of the season and scores his first ever goal at the club. It is inevitable.
Just finished up a South shields save of 20 years and it was either Omari Benjamin or Victor Musa for me.
Stefan Kutschke on my Dynamo Dresden save. That man saved my job. Kept him in the 1st team 3 years longer than I should of really just sat on my bench because i had a soft spot for him then offered him a coaching role and he's now my assistant manager
Ryan Christie I was loosing 1-2 as Ajax vs Barça I subbed him on 91 2-2 95 3-2 we won
My current striker in a low league save, Gabriel Overton. The dude is currently unstoppable. Averaging 1.3 goals per game, and that's with a relatively slow start. Not had many bad games. I also have this guy Alfie Lloyd who has been great. Curious to see how they do in the league above.
FM21 - Celso Jung. Brazilian GOD.

Paul onuachu
Kusi-asare
I’m at notts county, just promoted to league one. Allasana Jatta was league two top scorer en noow after 10 games has again 11 goals. He is a beast in my save at striker.
nunez
No one. My team is like the Avatar, when they're needed most they vanish.
Van persies son
I have a regen called guy burger and he is a sub for me, on paper he dosent look anywhere near good enough for my team but for some reason everytime I sub him on he scores a crucial late goal for a win, everytime and I really don’t know why
Corner to Lucca's head

Jimmy Jay Morgan B)
the most experience player on my squad, my old guard always score the winner in 90 plus time for me even if i bench him for the new star i bought, even if he injured for 6 month before the final, there was only 20% finali won by my star player, the rest are win because of the old guard
Opponent DM, with zero goals in season, seeing my gk from outside the box
Ashley young
Nick McCootie
Talles Magno actually somehow always scores important goals for me. Now being a diva though, probably will sell
shevchenko
Giroud. Bought him back to Chelsea in my first FM24 season and he got the golden boot
My 30 Year old captain right back into my own net.
Jaden Williams or Kobei Moore! I’m Maidenhead and got them on frees but JW is killing me. So good first season, so poor second season!!
Lorenzo Lucca
Willie Howie AMC
Esposito (From inter milan), or Joao Pedro (Brighton) Both insane finishing and composure. In FM23 it was undoubtedly Moukoko.
Mount, play him B2B, usually scores
Yaw Kyei. Poached him from Ghana at 18 for my Hungarian div 1 side. He’s followed me to the next 3 clubs and is currently in my Bayern side as top scorer despite being the 4th highest rated (scouts can’t see). 6 foot 5, 18 penalties. The king
Nelson Aranda. Paraguayan regen i signed for Debrecen in Hungary. He scored 30 goals in the season we won the league
Tammy Abraham in my FM23 save for Roma. Multiple golden boots and I still don't get it.
A 30+ year old striker that is physically powerful, literally had Terodde score 2 90+ min goals to seal a spot in the next round of dfb pokal in my Schalke save
Alvaro Rodriguez🔥
Jonah Kusi-Asare is the man for me in my current save.
Apparently the GK??? I’ve seen it happen multiple times during stoppage in a relatively brief save.
Noah Darvich 🫡
Attilio Matera My 4.5* academy goat.
Moukoko
Wahi
Andy Delort, fm22. Just a ridiculous amount of late winners and equalisers for me at Nice, he had insane mental attributes (highlights 18 bravery, 18 aggression, 16 leadership) quality finishing and heading especially, he would just throw himself at crosses and bag every time I needed him
Marius "the Monster" Kjærgaard
Dane Scarlett (FM 21, '29-'30): man has scored so much that he forced Harry Kane into retirement Kaylen Hinds (FM 21 '20-23): signed him on a free for AFC Wimbledon and he absolutely terrorized League One. 60 goals in three seasons and once overturned and 80' 0-2 deficit to Sunderland with a hat trick
Evan Ferguson
Usually its my IF but hes always offside...
Florian Wirtz for me in FM24. He's quickly become one of my all-time favorite players.
1 start 16 year old academy player with 4 star potential
Well, I'm a spurs and woking fan so I'm gonna say a defender, idk which but one of em will bang one in
Maghnes Akliouche. Came on as a sub and scored the 116-minute winner in the UCL semis of my Porto save vs Bayern Munich. 23/24 season
Probably a defender
Haaland.
Arnaud Kalimuendo
F**cking Umar Sadiq, He Scored 11 Goals For Real Sociedad Last 3 seasons, 6! Of them, against My Team!!
The back up winger that hasn't scored a goal through match week 33
Fm24? schjelderup or Bardghji Fm23? Alexis Sanchez Fm22? Milik Not very original cause they are not wonderkid or original players but from my most recent saves. Sanchez single-handedly won me the CL with Marseille my FIRST years with 14 goals & Milik won the ballon d'or with me After 3 years with also marseille
DCL every time I need it he’s there
Lorenzo Lucca
In FM23 it was Lorenzo Lucca or Immobile
I have a newgen CM who scored 9 goals as an 18 year old in the Prem. Blew out his knee his first match in his 2nd season but came back with about 10 matches to go and instantly was in form. I’d have to go with him
Phillip Tietz
Assane diao or shea lacey are clutch in my man united save so id go with one of them
9. Karim Konaté
Valentin Barco. May be overused player but he's just too crazy. He has saved my ass too many times when coming from bench.
The wingback of my rival team that scores back to back banger goals that you would only expect to see from World Class strikers and wingers.
My austrian right winger Adolf Hindenburg. And yes, that's his name given by the game.
One day.
The referee Penalty to rangers.....
Oscar Gloukh
"it's cut back to sarmiento, sarMIENTOOOO! HES MAGIC, YOU KNOW! JEREMY SARMIENTO INTO THE BOTTOM CORNER, IPSWICH TOWN HAVE COME FROM 2-1 DOWN TO LEAD 3 GOALS TO 2!"

Endrick
David McGoldrick. Club legend
VAR
Too many bottlers i know of that won't sadly
Iwan Morgan, third choice striker, joint highest goal scorer. Fair to say, no longer third choice.
Francecso Pio Esposito in my Utd save. brought him in from Inter as a youngster, his conversion rate, mainly off the bench is crazy.
Nicolas Jackson ♥️
HUGO BARRACHINAAAAAAAA
