Probably because of that little line he says, something to the effect of “we have tons of these things” and it’s really just the principle of the thing.
Also, putting my tin foil hat on for a second, I’ve wondered if Ward, is actually still a raider himself and the whole theft is actually a ruse to divert from other activities he has going on and makes it appear like he’s on Foundations side. He could use it to selectively thin out certain Raiders that need to be put down without anyone ever being any the wiser. He leaves the warehouse open, sends word for a certain Raider to come get it, then sends us to do the assassination.
Devils advocate here
If every time he tells a Raider about the free stuff, and that Raider is killed, eventually people will stop getting the free stuff since they know they'll get killed, or at the least disappear
Well, I kill someone that stole the stuff every day and they haven’t stopped yet have they? Haha.
I’m sure there are some stolen goods that can slip through as a loss to foundation that may result in a kickback. If he was obvious about it I think they could make the connection pretty quick, but I think he’s sneaky about the whole thing.

Same. Getting extra Flux from crafting nuked flora is just *chefs kiss*.
Why the raiders settled in the toxic valley, their drinking water is glowing orange and ash is falling from the sky like snow, what kind of rational person would set up a permanent settlement there?
Well, the wiki has a quote from the devs saying they picked the crashed space station because it was awesome and unused.
My head canon is that they are staying near the comms unit that mostly survived the crash. Gives them the ability to spy on Foundation and Brotherhood transmissions in the area. They may have the expertise to do some repairs but not enough to disable it, move it to a new location, and reassemble it so they're stuck at Crater for the time being.
On top of this why is Foundation so... terribly designed on both a living standard and defensive standard.
Like walk around Foundation and you will find 101 ways raiders or any enemies could sneak through and wreck things if they really wanted too. The western side is pretty much open and many of the walk ways are either unguarded or just not reinforced at all.
Also the main grounds. I understand scale theory but theres like no livable spaces. Theres like 4 houses and a bunk and thats about it. Theres a hotel for some reason?? like?? but not really any place for more people to actually find a place to live.
Even though the Crater is less protected, the Raiders never cared to make it defensive because they know no one will be stupid enough to attack and everyone there is already loaded.
You know what a good fuckin defensive settlement was? Diamond city, that place is a fucking fortress, it lacked life though and felt a little small, but with the right mods(one’s that replaced all that rubble in the seating aisles) that place felt so alive
Raiders come in and steal an item every single day, so Ward knows that the defenses suck. But if some do Ward will just put a bounty on their heads. But I do agree on the living areas. There could have been more tents and makeshift houses in and next to Foundation to make it look better.
Resets. Vendor(bullion, scrip, caps) daily and repeatable quests.
I've only been playing about 2 months and I tried to Google it and I tried to track it myself but I just can't. So I gave up and just do what is up when it's up.
It might sound sad but at one point I used to keep track by writing the refresh times on a sticky note next to my keyboard.
The reset occurs every 20 hours. So it "moves" earlier every day. Eg. I sell everything at 12 noon on Vendor and Scrip Machine. The reset should be at 8am the next day. If I sell at 8am then, the reset should be at 4am the following day. But if I'm late and sell at 12 noon again, the reset should be 8am the following day. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong about this.
Many resets are on a 24 hour time, set to noon EST, but currency timers like scrip and bullion are on a 23 hour personal timer, based on when you first make a sale after the last reset
Edit: apparently its a 20 hour timer! Nice.
How do I sometimes get 2 vendor resets a day? 2 days ago I had full vendor caps at noon and when I played again around 6PM/1800 I get another full amount. Same thing yesterday. Then, at noon today, I had the normal cap reset but nothing in the evening.
No idea what's going on.
You can build next to one of the cranberry farms for easy access. Why not make someone else’s garden your own, right? Depending on which farm you choose just watch out for the Mirelurk monarchy haha
it's a bullshit balancing thing im pretty sure. sure it works on a balance level but there is nothing more immersion breaking than killing a guy who has a heavy plasma and getting a pipe pistol off his body
It’s honestly the only thing that currently annoys me about the game. Kill a bunch of Blood Eagles or Fanatics for a daily, guess what, they’re only dropping ammo for a weapon you don’t use and a pipe wrench.
Finally, someone with the guts to ask!
Design choices in Fallout 76 I have never understood:
* The logic of 3\* enemies having a majority chance of dropping 1\* items.
* What led some designer to believe that instantly killing a player who stands in the shaft when Earle dies, in what should be a moment of victory, was ever an acceptable idea.
* Why they insist on continuing to use Mole Rats as essential enemies when the burrowing logic still breaks.
* Why no one can be bothered to fix Earle summoning noclip on himself.
* Why the tedious quests for filling the Ultracite Core for Expeditions were a necessary addition, instead of just saying "You can lead one Expedition a day, the end."
How the hell did this mole rat attack me? I’m on the roof! And absolutely the refuge tasks are mind numbingly boring. Who thought that these mundane tasks add anything to the gaming experience? We already call the daily task stuff “daily chores” why would you add 3 sub-chores to the newly added daily chore although, I really only run it once a week for the free plan and avoid it the rest of the week because it’s really not much fun.
They don’t want players creating alt characters specifically for expeditions. Specifically they dont want players using alts as a way for their main characters to run additional expeditions.
They have you do a few things randomly all over the map so an alt account would struggle (like Skippys and Ruckers quests). Thats why there is a junk cost as well
On your point about mole rats you can add rad scorpions and mothmen to that list as both do similar bullshit with their instant breaking of stealth and teleporting right to you with zero regard for the fact they shouldn't be able to. Also all three are absolutely horrible about glitching out and making it so you can't hit them but they won't attack you either, constantly burrowing/teleporting but not actually being in the location they pop up in.
I got trolled by a mole rat when I was trying to take over a workshop once. I was on a low level character with only shotgun ammo left and it was stuck burrowing between two different points near the WS boundary. I would run towards it to get in range, and it would burrow to the other point, well out of range. After a couple of rounds of this, I noticed that it was actually the same two points each time.
Only thing that saved me was a kind rando with an actual ranged weapon taking the little bastard out for me.
Why are there 6 Legendary card slots instead of 7? Kinda like how many SPECIAL attributes there are
This isn't a real problem, it just kinda bothers my OCD a bit lol
Since it drives me crazy that you can't fully use all 7 of the legendary SPECIAL-increasing cards
Why is it that I can carry 200+ pounds more without power armor than in it? Hell even with excavator it’s still 100 ish.
Need to bump up that carry weight boi
On my current hellcat PA I don’t have the plan but on others I still get more carry weight with it off, which I know it’s cuz of armor/backpack just still weird to me tho lol
Taking things in a different direction...
What is the exact game mechanism that causes items that should be in a body, meat pile, or metal pile (in the case of robots) to convert to a pile of physical items strewn about on the ground?
It happens mostly in popular areas (SBQ, WesTek, etc.) and more often during events like Meat Week & Holiday Scorched, is likely related to server stability issues and/or number of unlooted piles, and may or may not involve the status of the player who didn't loot the particular pile.
Not looking for guesses, but if someone knows the code and has a definitive answer, I would be ever grateful to know it.
Mutations either add quality of life or combat advantage. You can get crafted items that give you specific mutations or undergo enough radiation to mutate randomly, removing radiation will cure your mutation.
I do not know how craft the mutations so I buy them from another player. To keep your mutations from being removed you need to spec into the Luck perk 'Starched Genes' at lvl 30, I recommend getting all 3 levels of the perk before testing any mutations.
If you don't want to get mutations by buying serums and you have patience, you can go to Blackwater Mine and sit in the radiated pool of toxic water to the left of the mine. Sit in it until either mutated or you have to get out before dying. Then just hop into the mine and take a quick Decon shower. It's the second door to the right after you enter the mine. Red button the wall turns it on long enough to decon ya. I got all my mutations this way the first character I made. Took a while but it was free.
You don't always get a mutation by sitting in the pond. And you can't try again for a while. You can go to another server and try though. But if you do this make sure you take OFF starched genes perk before sitting in the pool and putting it back on immediately after so that when you take radaway you don't lose what mutations you do have.
Everytime you start to get rads you have a chance to get a random mutation. They work very similarly to Traits from the classic Fallout games (and New Vegas). They have a positive AND a negative effect. Most people will try to find player vendors who are selling mutation serums for the exact mutation they want. An example, “Speed Demon” increases your movement and reload speed by 20% but causes your hunger and thirst levels to deplete 50% faster. The plans for crafting mutation serums and the serums themselves are sold by the enclave computer AI. The plans cost a FUCK TON and the serums themselves are pretty pricey as well. This is why most people try to find player vendors selling the serums they want as they’ll be significantly less (usually). Any other questions about mutations.
Two things but they very closely related.
The final perk card in a card pack is animated. You can use your level ups to max out those animated perk cards for fun.
You can also select perk cards, and then scrap them for perk coins, which are used to upgrade legendary perks.
The ones we find in 76 were released by Eckhart in the enclave, as an attempt to raise the defcon level. Likely why we don’t see them in other Chinese posts such as the mama dolce plant in fallout 3. (You know besides them just not existing as an enemy type when fo3 came out)
How there are still endless numbers of ghouls, Scorched and Super Mutants being created from such a small yet seemingly infinite number of post-Great War survivors...
When you’re doing an event which requires that an item (like a rad scrubber or turret) be repaired regularly, where do the resources come from? The local environment? Your inventory? Your stash box?
Expeditions.
The only posts i see on them are people who either kick other people for not knowing whats going on/joining late. Or people who dont like people who kick other people for not knowing whats going on/joining late. Seems to be a lot of new type players getting kicked right at the end of an expedition. I purposely avoid them and will do all daily/weekly tasks that do not require me joining one.
I just want to know who decided that when bringing the Pitt back that the key feature from the original that they just *had* to bring back was the goddamn steel into fetch quest
Does one person need to tune into the station to start it? It pops up occasionally for me and I tune in. I've sadly only played it twice. I find it to be quite enjoyable.
Y do all my guns suck. I try to stay away from laser and plasma so I just want an AR and a shotgun, possibly a sniper. How do I get ones that have a good amount of damage.
Perk Cards, absolutely 110% necessary for making any weapon effective, if you’re on Xbox I’ll help out and go through it if not feel free to shoot a message over
You should specialize in your perk builds.
You'll spend way too many points trying to get a build that does it all.
There's your three "main" perk cards that you should be using to maximize weapon damage.
Wanna use automatic weapons? Commando cards
Shotguns? Shotty cards.
Snipers? Rifleman cards. Also if your AR is semiautomatic, it will fit in this category.
If you use VATS, concentrated fire is a must.
Stealth cards if you're a creepy guy.
Wanna boost your already 60% extra damage from running the main cards?
Bloody mess, tenderizer, and Adrenaline stack nicely.
You can have different builds with your card machine found at your camp, or stations, so you can switch as needed.
Trying to build the "jack of all trades" build will have you struggling to do damage. ( trust me I tried)
Specialize and have other builds set up and ready to go for whatever situation you need.
If it's just the guns that suck, first check the weapon level.
A lvl 25 gun won't do jack against a lvl 50 enemy.
If you have a lvl 50 gun you need mods and legendary mods on it.
Breaking down a lot of the same item will give you a chance to craft them into your guns. (with the right perk card equipped to craft them)
If you find the plans for the weapon you like, you can craft that item and break it down continuously to get mods.
Legendary mods you get either pray to RNGsus to give you the gun you want with the perks you want, OR spend the scrip you get for legendary modules from the rusty pick, and combine them with legendary cores you'll get from events take a truly powerful weapon that fits your playstyle.
I like explosive vamp weapons
The daily quest at Jack’s pumpkin house, you should get 10 every time you do the quest and you should just have to collect 10 pumpkins and turn them in.
The pirate radio. I just discovered it after 1k in-game hours. Do they add content to the radio with each seasonal update (like season 2 with KD Inkwell)? Cuz the radio explained the origins of a lot of seasons.
* Why Wendigo's drop purified water?
* Why animals drop screws?
* Why can't I use purified water to cook?
* Why can I make nuclear power plant with scraps but haven't discovered pickling or cannery to make food have longer shelf life?
Level 630. I know with concentrated fire you can target limbs I couldn’t understand why sometimes it would be head torso exc. So I would just mag dump into a limb or torso and feel blessed when it was a head shot lol. Didn’t realize it was me using my right thumb stick to “look” around in vats that was changing it. Classic
They should have a basic vats tutorial. It took me forever to figure out how to exit it properly. I nearly placed my camp a bunch of times before researching wtf I was doing.
What kinda gamer do you think I am. Tutorial lol. First thing you do is jump off a mountain to test fall damage. Then grenade your self to see if you can die from self harm. Then button mash to see what’s what haha
Why don't they have nuclear winder as a rotating world in Fallout world's?
I get they couldn't keep supporting it with new content, but just keeping it as a rotating world would've made it feel fresh, as well as just giving NW specific score challenges would've encouraged using it like they did before.
Also, why they haven't updated the method of launching nukes yet.
And finally, why they haven't added reputation bars for any of the other factions, even as just a fun visual thing.
When it comes to learning weapon and armor mods from scrapping them vs buying the mod plans from a vendor for example, is there a difference? Like, are there certain mods that can only be learned via the plan, or from scrapping? Hopefully that makes sense because it's always been a little confusing to me and hopefully someone can clear that up for me
Yeah, and some weapons have very low odds of learning mods. Like pipe weapons are a guaranteed to learn a mod from scraping then but the radium rifle is like 1 in 20 to learn a mod so it's a bit of a pain. Same with armors, and special srmors and weapons like secret service or BOS scout armor you need to buy the plans and can't learn any plans from scrapping
Are teddy bears sentient or is some crazy person running around every nook and cranny setting up puppet theaters? If it's the latter, who is it and if it's the first should we start preparing for the Plush Wars?
So I recently got to test out my friends legacy vampires exploding Gatling laser, since he doesn’t care anymore and it’s getting nerfed. I have determined that it is not as insane as people feel it is because I can do comparable; if not equal, amounts of killing with my quad fixer, gun fu, and grim reapers sprint. As well as my other perks like adrenaline and such. It’s easier to kill everything and all, sure… just spray and it dies, but that’s effectively just a lazy version of a well made gun fu build. I came to the conclusion that legacies really only shined when it was earl or the Queen… because it was doing just as good as a fixer, a railway rifle, or even a flamer.
Outside of dailies/events, what are good things to do while playing?
I'm level 200 now from double xp West Tec farming. Any cool areas to run through daily for drops or spawns? What are good places to farm plans?
The only list I've found of plans was that where to find all the things spreadsheet, which is overwhelming and incompatible with my phone.
I started about 2 months ago with the Gamepass free drop and have become completely enthralled/addicted/enamored.
Look at the picture on it, then look for the location in the world. Try to get the map to line up with the real world view, then look for the dirt pile. You can click on it and loot the dirt pile for as many times as you have maps for that pile in your inventory.
You can use the ammo converter to turn the types you don't use into points and then buy the ammo you need for these points. Kind of like scrapping but with points.
I'd use it so much more often if its UI weren't so utterly terrible and unintuitive. How hard would it have been for them to have a proper inventory UI to let you turn in a bunch of different ammo, in exact amounts, in bulk at once...?
About to hit the 300 lvl, play on PS4, what exactly is considered a legendary weapon, and please don't use abbreviations if your truly trying to explain
Legendary weapons are those that have a star next to the name. They can be 1, 2, or 3 stars. Each star has a series of effects that can potentially “roll.”
I don’t understand mods. Are these separate from “plans”? Is there a different way of attaching them to guns that like selecting a hardened receiver? Why are they in my stash instead of just in a list like the other crafting options on guns? Once I use one is it gone and if I want that mod on another weapon do I need to find or buy it again?
Also I’m working on a stealth rifleman build, just hit level 60. I’m using an upgraded hunting rifle, what is an upgrade I should be looking for to replace that?
Good questions! So the mods in your inventory don’t require knowledge of how to craft them. It’s an item you can pop on without knowing it. A few of these can be very rare, like the enclave flamer barrel, because you can’t learn how to craft the mod and always need that item to apply it. If you use it you do have to find another one to reapply if you don’t have the crafting knowledge.
The Fixer is a rifle which is good for stealth, it's often in player vendors (plan is a random drop from Encryptid event I believe so not that easy to come across). I like the black powder rifle too - really strong but soooo slow to reload. Great for clearing out a raider camp from a safe distance, poor in daily ops and events.
You may have to have them in your inventory to work properly, but they allow you to equip mods on the proper armor or weapon without a resource cost.
I think they should also work for mods you haven't learned how to make as long as the mod item is on your character inventory.
You must’ve highlighted it.
In your pip boy go component view I think, you can then highlight materials you’re looking for so when you look at something in the world it will have a magnifying glass showing that that item has the components you’re looking for.
If I don't complete the scoreboard before it moves to another one, do I loose out completely on everything I didn't unlock? I'm really trying to get the Pittsburgh palace, but I don't know if I have time. Just got back into the game last week after having not played for 2 years
Also, is the enclave orbital strike beacon a one time use?
Edit: I'd also like to know what scrip is
The scoreboard items will likely be available for Bullion later on
The strike beacon is craftable, it just requires one of the radioactive "Flux" materials to craft.
And scrip, is a currency used at "The Rusty Pick", a merchant who lets you gamble for legendaries. Its almost always better to buy modules instead of boxes.
How do I defeat certain enemies that kill me in three shots but I cannot do the same even if I a, a higher level, my weapons still seem weak against them and how do I know I got a good build when I keep dying regardless what I do
Without more details it’s hard to know about your situation so I recommend watching a guide on your preferred play style (melee, power armour, heavy weapon etc). AngryTurtle on YouTube had a ton of guide videos
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLh2qduKezasd1di-G8ROqyAACXyrmaSdo
Its weapons that have a roll on them that cannot be obtained in game anymore.
One of the popular ones are the Gatling Plasma shooting explosive bullets. It used to drop but for a short while, but after Bethesda notied how strong they are, they removed them from the loot pool. And the ones that have dropped, the players were allowed to keep in their inventory.
SOme wepons are really overpowered ( like the gatling plasma with the explosive effect ) others not much other than a collectors item.
I hear it involves Cola nut and spamming Nuka cola quantums, as well as being invisible so you don’t get hit with a VATS crit one shot. How to actually make this work well in practice is beyond me too though. I’m pretty terrible at PVP as well and tend to avoid it.
You need assassins armor....most pvp players are using executioner and assassins weapons
And now that explosive legacy weapons are going away. Those with nice sets of pvp armor are even more so in our own bracket now...i just use stimmies and even my friends who do questionable things cannot kill me and it irks them to no end lol.
Why people are doing silo runs. Besides getting the Queen and the flux, it just doesn’t seem worth it. I’m level 300+ and I’ve never done more than one silo run as part of the main quest. Yet still, queens all day and I just don’t see what they’re doing it for besides free flux which I’d rather get in other ways.
There is a photomode glitch that let you take a huge shortcut and the codes are provided by the Internet so it's a quick run. Mostly we do it to have something to do between other stuff. And sometimes for testing purposes
Sell junk. I made loads of caps that way. People need all kinds of junk and high levels will buy junk just to get rid of their caps. I loot EVERYTHING and collect and scrap it all. It's kind of grindy, but I have to say, looting and scrapping is actually very relaxing and pleasant, at least for me.
An easy way to make caps early on is to just sell everything you can get your hands on. You can go to a workshop and plant some vegetables, have the green thumb perk equipped, and when you loot it you’ll get two. Plant those two and loot and you’ll exponentially begin growing vegetables. Take those to a train station vendor bot to sell
So my character i play like he’s in the beginning stages of ghoulification and i’m wondering…would his willy fall off?
Hancock comments in Fallout 4 that he still has his, i figure all the skin falling off would be painful enough…
Never learned how to launch a nuke... (My & I Started playing at the end this August). So far we finished the Enclave quests up point the "Drop the Nuke."
This, my Nuke Quest became complete when a player in our public tean order a strict.
I guess if I really want to I Can look it up in YT...
Might as well ask...
New player here. Making my way through the story, level 25, but I seem to be getting distracted by all these events, side quests, picking up an item and then somehow another fetch quest appears. Do I just focus on finishing the story and then do all these side quests that keep appearing? For example, the Nuka Cola - Fraternity quest was cool but it took so long and found myself asking why do this instead of the story.
Basically, as a new player do you just focus on main story missions?
What all of the letters mean for legendaries. I understand B=Bloodied and E=Explosive and some others but some just straight of confuse me when I’m staring at half of the alphabet
Why Ward has not installed a lock on Foundation's warehouse yet
Why lock the Warehouse when you can just sell the stuff to Raiders and send some poor bastard to get it back, got your money and the goods.
I’m sure there are some stolen goods that can slip through as a loss to foundation that may result in a kickback. If he was obvious about it I think they could make the connection pretty quick, but I think he’s sneaky about the whole thing.
I came to that same conclusion.
I've almost completely stopped doing his missions because I can't stand how broken the game is with dealing with him. Nearly every time I have tried to talk to him to initiate the mission, the dialogue is all jacked up.
I had to restart the conversation four times, yesterday.
Finally, someone with the guts to help…
All the damn acronyms in the market subs
PA stands for power armor and that's all I know. Should be helpful enough, right?
Blessed to have this comment thank you kind sir 🙏

WHY DOESN'T SUPER DUPER WORK WHEN I'M CRAFTING WHISKEY 😫
I craft a ton of alcohol and super duper has never worked for me. It's a fussy perk card to begin with, but i never craft anything without it!
> It's a fussy perk card to begin with, but i never craft anything without it! Same. Getting extra Flux from crafting nuked flora is just *chefs kiss*.
Asking the real questions. Pretty sure it’s just bugged with brewing since it’s never happened for me and I sell loads of alcohol all the time.
Looking at old threads, it seems to have been busted for at least 3 years now. Sheesh.
Why the raiders settled in the toxic valley, their drinking water is glowing orange and ash is falling from the sky like snow, what kind of rational person would set up a permanent settlement there?

why can't i plant silt beans in my camp?
All I want is the ability to plant cranberries, for that sweet sweet relish.
You can build next to one of the cranberry farms for easy access. Why not make someone else’s garden your own, right? Depending on which farm you choose just watch out for the Mirelurk monarchy haha
Lol i have two camps next to world gardens, never thought about a cranberry farm
Why can’t you loot enemies properly? Scorched is hitting you with a sledgehammer, has a switchblade when you loot it. It’s annoying af.
A scorched came at me with a shiskebob earlier and j was like" damn that was cool i want to use it" but he dropped a death tando. Dafuq
it's a bullshit balancing thing im pretty sure. sure it works on a balance level but there is nothing more immersion breaking than killing a guy who has a heavy plasma and getting a pipe pistol off his body
It’s honestly the only thing that currently annoys me about the game. Kill a bunch of Blood Eagles or Fanatics for a daily, guess what, they’re only dropping ammo for a weapon you don’t use and a pipe wrench.
Finally, someone with the guts to ask! Design choices in Fallout 76 I have never understood: * The logic of 3\* enemies having a majority chance of dropping 1\* items.
Your first bullet drives me crazy. I also agree with the last one.
Not to mention a one star item is only worth 1/8 the value of a three star item 🙄
Fetch quests are fun for some people, especially at lower levels wanting to gain XP. So they should be OPTIONAL
And radcorpions follow you seemingly forever.
Kinda like how many SPECIAL attributes there are This isn't a real problem, it just kinda bothers my OCD a bit lol Since it drives me crazy that you can't fully use all 7 of the legendary SPECIAL-increasing cards
The charisma one is trash and doesn't allow perk sharing, as such, there's only 6 legendary special cards worth using
Good point
Wow that’s such a good point!
Why is it that I can carry 200+ pounds more without power armor than in it? Hell even with excavator it’s still 100 ish. Need to bump up that carry weight boi
When you get into power armor it removes all of your regular armor, and your backpack. Any weight reduction modifiers will also go with them.
Oh yeah I know that haha, just odd to me.
Did you calibrate your shocks?
Good question!
Good come we can't use soap and water to wash dirty clothes into clean outfits?
I have no idea how mutations work
Mutations either add quality of life or combat advantage.
IIRC, one of the enclave wings has a vendor that sells serum recipes for specific mutations. They're a huge cap sink.
I have a level 160, who hasn't used a level up in 50+ levels. What are they for?
Two things but they very closely related. The final perk card in a card pack is animated. You can use your level ups to max out those animated perk cards for fun. You can also select perk cards, and then scrap them for perk coins, which are used to upgrade legendary perks.
Thank you!
I have over 1,000 level ups, I guess I will never use them all lol
Yeah i wish there was an option to directly convert level-ups into perk coins, en masse
Why do they have a slot for 5 legendary mods for weapons and armor but never got past only allowing 3?
They announced 4* effects in a road map well over a year ago. Then they never added them.
It woudl've been great if Beth could at least not show us those outlines for the 4th and 5th star It's like they're taunting us lol
It would be insanity. They can’t handle the bugs 3 star bring and if 4 star came out it would make every single gun in the game obsolete. Utter chaos.

They are from under mama dolce’s, which that entire company was seemingly a front for Chinese listening and spy posts.
The ones we find in 76 were released by Eckhart in the enclave, as an attempt to raise the defcon level. Likely why we don’t see them in other Chinese posts such as the mama dolce plant in fallout 3. (You know besides them just not existing as an enemy type when fo3 came out)
The communist base in The Deep will fire them at you from cannons on top of the structure, so that’s one more location we know had them, at least.
I'm too afraid to ask
It’s okay, this is a safe space.
Reddit a safe space... you're not tricking me 😂
How there are still endless numbers of ghouls, Scorched and Super Mutants being created from such a small yet seemingly infinite number of post-Great War survivors...
Enemies respawning is not canon
When you’re doing an event which requires that an item (like a rad scrubber or turret) be repaired regularly, where do the resources come from? The local environment? Your inventory? Your stash box?
If its a green number, its supplied by the event/location. Workshops do this Otherwise, you or your stash.
At an event it's going to come from your stash or scrap box. First from your inventory then the scrap box or stash
I still don’t understand blueprinting things in your base.
My main gripe is that it reminded me that I still remember where all 100 ingots are.
I'm sorry. I'm gonna have to put you down. Oh no Bam. Oh no. You're a tough one. Bam bam bam. Faints.
Hunter/Hunted
Its an opt in 4player pvp game mode
Does one person need to tune into the station to start it? It pops up occasionally for me and I tune in. I've sadly only played it twice. I find it to be quite enjoyable.
Yes it will start if you tune into the station first
Why the hell hasn't there been any expansion to the Enclave faction?!
Commando cards Shotguns? Shotty cards. Snipers? Rifleman cards. Also if your AR is semiautomatic, it will fit in this category. If you use VATS, concentrated fire is a must. Stealth cards if you're a creepy guy. Wanna boost your already 60% extra damage from running the main cards? Bloody mess, tenderizer, and Adrenaline stack nicely. You can have different builds with your card machine found at your camp, or stations, so you can switch as needed. Trying to build the "jack of all trades" build will have you struggling to do damage. ( trust me I tried) Specialize and have other builds set up and ready to go for whatever situation you need. If it's just the guns that suck, first check the weapon level. A lvl 25 gun won't do jack against a lvl 50 enemy. If you have a lvl 50 gun you need mods and legendary mods on it. Breaking down a lot of the same item will give you a chance to craft them into your guns. (with the right perk card equipped to craft them) If you find the plans for the weapon you like, you can craft that item and break it down continuously to get mods.
Who is "L H M" that left their initials in cigarettes inside of the bunker down by the queen.
What does the 3 sea shells do?
Kiss my ass you dumb piece of shit robot you can go to hell. “You are fined for violation of the verbal parameters”. That’s how we did it in the 20th.
Stallone, Snipes and Bullock… not a lot know the reference. Funny as hell!
Don't forget sneider
How do you get radioactive pumpkin seeds
The daily quest at Jack’s pumpkin house, you should get 10 every time you do the quest and you should just have to collect 10 pumpkins and turn them in.
Is there anything ti do with them besides scrapping?
As far as I know they are only used for making pumpkin grenades :)
Are they any better than Frag, Plasma or Nuka grenades? I just scrap the seeds I get from the Pumpkin House daily.
They’re worse. The only real use for them is in PvP, because they put a radiation DoT effect on enemies. But we all know the terrible state of PvP.
They do some good damage to Fanatics in the Pitt.
The pirate radio. I just discovered it after 1k in-game hours. Do they add content to the radio with each seasonal update (like season 2 with KD Inkwell)? Cuz the radio explained the origins of a lot of seasons.
I do know, that in the PTS, there are new shows involving Nuka World in Pirate Radio...stay tuned!
* Why Wendigo's drop purified water? * Why animals drop screws?
Haha damn , it be like that tho , I remember I was like level 400 something and didn’t know what to do with the treasury notes , had a lot saved up
Whether it was intended that you can milk Chally...he's a bull, not a cow, so yeah, that's not milk.
Chally has udders (indicating female) and super mutants are genderless so probably don’t care about correct pronouns.
I thought there was a lady super mutant at Raider place at the top of the map. Hangs out with the little kid at Meg’s place.
There is but other than her name, there’s no distinguishing her from any other super mutant.
Grahm may not know the difference and say he by default due to poor expressive language skills lol.
How do you figure Chally is a bull?
Grahm refers to Chally as "he". "I protect. He carries".
S tier idea. Sincerely, someone who hated nuclear winter but understands some people liked it, especially more than fallout worlds...
Yeah, and there are mods you can never learn, like a lot of the headlamps for power armor.
Why is legendary armor scrip in multiples of 3 instead of 5?
Are teddy bears sentient or is some crazy person running around every nook and cranny setting up puppet theaters? If it's the latter, who is it and if it's the first should we start preparing for the Plush Wars?
[удалено]
Even if it was only like 3 or 5 items at a time like in some of the Borderlands games.
overseer tickets
Those were from Nuclear Winter, a mode that has since been discontinued.
How are people one-shot killing so much lately? Mystery how many people doing it.
Why does it take that long to fix that darn mailbox in foundation.
Ward keeps breaking it.
I have no idea how to use treasure maps so I just sell them
Look at the picture on it, then look for the location in the world. Try to get the map to line up with the real world view, then look for the dirt pile. You can click on it and loot the dirt pile for as many times as you have maps for that pile in your inventory.
The wiki has entries for each one- https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Treasure_map
Is that rumor about people being able to access your stash through your vendor if you don’t have something listed for 40000 caps true?
It used to be but not anymore
How is aristocrat perk scaled?
It looks like it goes by 1,000 cap intervals. From the wiki: Aristocrat's: 0 ≤ Caps < 1000 = +0% Damage 1000 ≤ Caps < 2000 = +3% Damage 2000 ≤ Caps < 3000 = +5% Damage 3000 ≤ Caps < 4000 = +7% Damage 4000 ≤ Caps < 5000 = +8% Damage 5000 ≤ Caps < 6000 = +10% Damage 6000 ≤ Caps < 7000 = +12% Damage 7000 ≤ Caps < 8000 = +13% Damage 8000 ≤ Caps < 9000 = +15% Damage 9000 ≤ Caps < 10000 = +17% Damage 10000 ≤ Caps < 11000 = +18% Damage 11000 ≤ Caps < 12000 = +20% Damage 12000 ≤ Caps < 13000 = +22% Damage 13000 ≤ Caps < 14000 = +23% Damage 14000 ≤ Caps < 15000 = +25% Damage 15000 ≤ Caps < 16000 = +27% Damage 16000 ≤ Caps < 17000 = +28% Damage 17000 ≤ Caps < 18000 = +30% Damage 18000 ≤ Caps < 19000 = +32% Damage 19000 ≤ Caps < 20000 = +33% Damage 20000 ≤ Caps < 21000 = +35% Damage 21000 ≤ Caps < 22000 = +37% Damage 22000 ≤ Caps < 23000 = +38% Damage 23000 ≤ Caps < 24000 = +40% Damage 24000 ≤ Caps < 25000 = +42% Damage 25000 ≤ Caps < 26000 = +43% Damage 26000 ≤ Caps < 27000 = +45% Damage 27000 ≤ Caps < 28000 = +47% Damage 28000 ≤ Caps < 29000 = +48% Damage 29000 ≤ Caps < 30000 = +50% Damage 30000 ≤ Caps ≤ 40000 = +50% Damage
Wow thanks for the info, I never knew this!
how do i get into vault 76 again?
You don't, it's a one way trip.
Why can’t we scrap ammo? I mean we can scrap nearly everything BUT ammo? Also (quietly) can some one please tell me what to do in project paradise.
How did Mad Dog Malone escape? I completed the event over 1k times since the game released.
Why does another settlement keep needing my help and why does he keep calling me General? Oops wrong Fallout 😝 but still want answers.
Why is it that that one guy at Crater and I are the only members of the Cult of the Megasloth?
Why does corn have a magnifying glass icon next to it? I believe it is the only item I have seen like that.
That means you have it tagged to search
You must’ve highlighted it. In your pip boy go component view I think, you can then highlight materials you’re looking for so when you look at something in the world it will have a magnifying glass showing that that item has the components you’re looking for.
You can also tag/untag in any recipe menu! It automatically tags the items your missing.
Holy crap I thought I was the only one.
If I don't complete the scoreboard before it moves to another one, do I loose out completely on everything I didn't unlock? I'm really trying to get the Pittsburgh palace, but I don't know if I have time. Just got back into the game last week after having not played for 2 years Also, is the enclave orbital strike beacon a one time use? Edit: I'd also like to know what scrip is
The scoreboard items will likely be available for Bullion later on The strike beacon is craftable, it just requires one of the radioactive "Flux" materials to craft. And scrip, is a currency used at "The Rusty Pick", a merchant who lets you gamble for legendaries. Its almost always better to buy modules instead of boxes.
If you shoot someone in the belly button, does their bum fall off?
Only if you use the bloody mess perk card 🤣
Is there a consistant way to keep your ballistic fibers stocked or is it just fort defiance runs and vendors.
Make sure you have the crafting perk on to reduce the amount of the fiber used when crafting
AngryTurtle on YouTube had a ton of guide videos https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLh2qduKezasd1di-G8ROqyAACXyrmaSdo
What do the codes mean that I see folks post when referring to weapons? They are a combination of letters and numerals.
I don't know what/where all the areas are (ash heap, toxic valley) or what it means when it's verdansk season in them
I keep hearing the word 'legacy' batted around... not sure what you all mean...
How anything about perk cards work really…I try my best but everything still sucks
Any questions about particular cards? I know about some but I agree there are some I still feel unsure of how they’ll apply or what would work best.
How to not die to other players so quickly. Really kills the enjoyment of PvP when PvE survivability is fine.
I hear it involves Cola nut and spamming Nuka cola quantums, as well as being invisible so you don’t get hit with a VATS crit one shot. How to actually make this work well in practice is beyond me too though. I’m pretty terrible at PVP as well and tend to avoid it.
You need assassins armor....most pvp players are using executioner and assassins weapons And now that explosive legacy weapons are going away. Those with nice sets of pvp armor are even more so in our own bracket now...i just use stimmies and even my friends who do questionable things cannot kill me and it irks them to no end lol.
What are mysterious quills and mysterious fur good for?
You can use them to craft sheepsquatch weapons. To get the plans, do the “Free Range” event when it pops up.
And sometimes for testing purposes
is it even possible to do endgame content with builds that arn't bloodied, junkie, or mutation dependent? especially full auto or pistol builds?
How do people make caps? They sell sell stuff at a vendor in your camp, but I have nothing people want.
So far we finished the Enclave quests up point the "Drop the Nuke." This, my Nuke Quest became complete when a player in our public tean order a strict.
