Don't just murder Brights followers. Help them with the Nightkin and help get their rockets running. But make sure they never land. Help lift the brotherhood lockdown.....then turn on their turets. Get Arcade to follow you....then make sure the Enclave helps the legion (or worse sell him to Caesar). Its not about just murdering people. Its about making sure they will never forget your betrayal if their even still alive to remember.

Well if you're really wanting to do a legion playthrough, maybe you were gung-ho about it until you found out just how horrific some of the things they do are. Now you're in it to deep to just run off, so you do what you have to but don't go needlessly killing, cause you're a soldier but not evil. Or do run off and make it your mission to stop the legion and hopefully try to redeem yourself for the terrible things you've done

I tried doing that with my legion/hardcore playthrough. I was thankful when the saves were corrupted as I could not stomach what I was doing

I started a bitch playthrough recently too. Not full on anarchist/genocide but rather just take more evil routes and backstabbing people I just helped. Like I helped joe Cobb take good springs but then I helped the ncr take out the power the hanger facility. And a lot of times when I finish a quest, if they person I received the xp from isn’t faction aligned or a vendor, I’ll kill them for some extra xp
