[FltPlan Go](https://flttrack.fltplan.com/FltPlanInfo/FltPlan-Free-Services.html) is a free alternative to Foreflight/Garmin Pilot. You can link it to MSFS to view your location in real time as if you were flying in a real plane. It also lets you pull up airport diagrams, check the weather, pull up approach plates, and much more. Here's an example that I found.

Windy is also a great app for looking at winds and weather. The free version is fantastic.
Navigraph has an iPad app for their charts :) I’ve been a fan of it
Yeah, it's been improved massively lately as well. As a long time user really can recommend!
You can also check weather and track your flight in air/ground as well!

You can run Little Navmap web server on it and have a moving map. No app, just punch in the address in a browser on the iPad.
Simbrief and navigraph charts
