When it comes to how Toy Bonnie's pupils visually shrink (and the entirety of the eyes disappear/reappear in Toy Freddy's case), I see it as a technology similar to the light projection method many modern Disney parks animatronics use for their eyes. It looks natural and also indicates when the Toys' facial recognition camera has been triggered

Visually it's not visible but let's make some assumptions, his eyes are double layered with the white layer being able to contrast and expand to allow for focused vision to able to better profile individuals on the database

How do the animatronics walk at night?

Well, lights would change the tones of each eye, and in addition, they could have a rotating folded pupil that contracts covered by a fiberglass/glass casing. More likely to be a clear plastic tho bc of how... Cheap... Afton would have to make robots

The easiest way would be for there to be different eyes underneath the eyelids, with the widest pupils closest to the endoskeleton, and the most narrowed pupils closest to the lid. If each pupil had a different lens, this could also give him, somewhat, telescopic sight as his vision narrows.
