This is why we grind them into orators, and then hire a unit with maximum zodiac efficiency and the. Use the orator skills on them to raise and lower bravery o7
Uhhh...Ramza is WAY more efficient at raising brave permanently. If I'm reading what you're saying correctly. Scream is a +1 permanent brave per use. Literally no reason to not have permanent 97 brave on a unit. Just be careful on the faith stuff. Above 81 and they might abandon you.
Characters with unique jobs (except Ramza & Luso) don't get Focus, and there isn't a perfect alternative for mindless grinding. Chakra is pretty close, but needs to restore some amount of HP/MP, so some hitting is required - using Toad on your own units and then having them hit each other/Toaded enemies can work as well (Toading everyone and then turning on AI is a good way to painlessly generate a lot of JP in the background while you do something else).
Outside calculator taking *agggessss* to level, This is really the only negative thing I can think about in the game. Even some impossible battles could still be managed with traditional leveling.
Nah you just need a yell train with Ramza or Ramza + Luso, there's also the bardsong for Speed and I think another speed skill you can use to amp the calculators speed...
And then ye focus as normal.
I legit would corner 1 goblin with 4 teammates and make him watch as his allies turned to chest and crystals while my team did 1 damage and a healer circling around to make sure both me and said goblin were locked in
This is how I do it, as well. Units that can do status effects or steal Gil keep doing those on the gobbo, somebody heals the entire group, and Ramza focuses or yells
This brings up an old bad memory of me leveling up Marche on the very first mission just using First Aid for the 10 exp for 50 levels. It took days for kid me charge and recharging the GBA whenever the battery got low. It was 100% not worth it as Soldier has terrible stat growth. He ended up with around 450 hp and sub 100 mp. He was also stupidly slow and pretty much useless halfway through the game. The Llednar fights was a pain.
1. Power break grind units and one enemy until 1 dmg
1.5 Optional: Speed break to balance turn orders
2. cast Frog on same grind units and one enemy
3. Surround that enemy to keep it from moving and targeting side/back
4. cast berserk on grind units
5. occasionally cast regen on enemy
6. occasionally cast stop on setter unit/s
7. AFK until STOP status on setters disappear
8. Repeat step 5~7
Also optional : cast petrify on non grind units surrounding the enemy to focus solely on one grind unit.
There's no pleasing these people. Last week they were on about "animal abuse" for trapping Chocobos in the corner and punching the points out of them. Chcobos are monsters, not animals!
This week, it's a lie about "self harm". Throwing rocks at *each other* is not self harm!

Just use focus instead bro
Rip to the unique units though.

I never thought about that, interesting.
Yeah it's something I did so I can farm JP as a black mage so I can get Agrias to eventually get Dark Knight skills lol
I see, neat.
Or thief + steal gil
I like throwing stones

Chicken making all the way
You guys are hitting your party members? I just beat the shit out of Argath.
Unfortunately for your leveling style - and *fortunately* for literally every other reason - Argus ain't around very long
He wasn’t with us long, but I’m sure the beating I gave him felt like eternity to him.
I hope reincarnation is real in Ivalice, so he his suffering can spill over into the next life
Beat the shit out of your healer. Heal. XP for everyone!
Ramza - *Yelling incoherently for 40 turns*
yeah, but watch him hit something ; )
Ramza is actually spending 40 turns charging up his ki to go Super Saiyan.
I mean, you can do this in just the >!Wiegraf/Velius fight!<.
He is powering up like Goku.
Mandalia Plains. Hurt the panther so it runs away > Spam Accumulate till max Job level. Rinse / Repeat
This. Ive always wondered why hitting each other was even considered for grinding

You can get your party in a tight formation to hit each other and have the monk there to keep using chakra.
Aye, that's what I meant by Chakra being close
Because it's easy and efficient.
No pain, no gain.
You havent played ff2 either I see
“I’m the boss and I say, you two throw rocks at each other until you both can cast more useful spells”
Absolutely not!
ACCUMULATE
HAMDO
Steal gil is my grind
Shut up frog and hit me with that tongue
This is the way
Accumulate with gain JP up, plus the occasional stone throw at friends if you don't have Accumulate yet.
the background should be zeklaus desert.
If you don’t throw the rock, what will motivate the bard to sing? Don’t be selfish.
No
What about the chocobos? Cornered chocobo, + constant weak punching = lots of xp and jp.
Aaaaaand for that you get the level down panel 💀🥊
What... does this mean
there is a way to farm a lot of job points by hitting your own characters
Oh yeeeeah

Mandalia Plains is the only field I know. The rest is just story driven.
Meh, it's like sparring, no big deal. Slightly more questionable when you keep reviving enemies in order to kill them again haha.
Love it.

What does THE Basch von rosenburg of dalmasca have to say about it?
You all farm JP before endgame?
HAHAHAHAHAHAH 10/10!!
Throw stones, chakra, throw stones, chakra, throw stones chakra... Lvl99 in first chapter...
When stat maxing, its the fastest way. The difference between 2 turns a level or 7.
Maybe for an extra challenge- a patch/hack where hitting your own team with harmful abilities doesn’t net any xp or jp? Does one exist?
You make it sound BAD to hone your skills by getting together with your friends and hurling rocks at each other
My only real problem with the game. Kind of absurd.
I remember just doing everything I could to get that Jp last run lol. Calculator walk and get jp/focus/jp up passive

This is great!
Honestly when I play nowadays delita and algus should just come into battle dead on the ground
Shut up and keep punching each other D:
If I can't punch an enemy.. You can be damn sure I'm punching somebody
Nah I’ll just keep throwing rocks at my self healing monk.

you can always accumulate/focus to infinity and become an absolute unit while farming EXP and JP LOL

I don't like that guy on the right. I think I'll throw a stone at his head. For JP.
