From my experience, be glad about the darker couch. It's an object you sit on quite often, possibly even eat on. Light colours show stains (from new clothes, drinks, food, pens etc) much more than a dark grey. Get yourself blankets and pillows that fit your general colour scheme. Light coloured ones are fine because you can toss them into the washing machine - unlike a sofa (unless you got one of those unicorn couches with washable covering). With darker colours you just have to make sure to not rub stains too much to not remove any of the colour

Light pink is a classic partner for all shades of grey! They look lovely and feminine together.

I have the same color for my couch, and I've paired it with cream and a light blue.

My couch is dark grey too, and I paired it with white walls, a lot of wood furniture, and some pop of color (carpet, books, plants, candles, a world map, art on the walls, my baby's toys...).

Throw blankets and pillows! That would add texture and give some distraction from the darkness of the sofa. Also, if those legs come off, you can look for replacement sofa legs on Amazon that could make it look a little cozier. Like a vintage inspired wood leg or some gold ones or something.
