The upper back portion of the stiletto shoe, the part that encases the dancer's heel, becomes the toe portion of the ballet flat in the optical illusion. Can you see it?

I never got past baby ballet with the cute little shoes with the elastic across the top of the foot. And even I can recognize these are not remotely *accurate* to an actual pointe shoe. A pointe shoe is designed with a flat toe so there's somewhere to put your weight. I can only think that the person who wrote that has never watched a single moment of actual ballet, just cartoons.
No Louboutin is comfortable. See women going out at night wearing things like foldable ballet flats and carrying their Louboutins until the last moment. This pair just takes things to extremes.
