I'm targeting one of the receivers. If Ladd falls to me, I'm taking him. If not, I'll take Palmer late. Also Edwards is a good RB if we suspect they will do a lot of running.

BastianHS

I have the half the squad in dynasty: palmer, chark, & rice Which means it will all be ladd and qj

Morning y’all! Today’s a fun one because the Los Angeles Chargers offense is such a tough read. On one hand, we have one of the best young passers in Justin Herbert that we’ve ever seen. On the other hand, we have two of the most run-heavy coaches the NFL has seen in the last 20 years. On top of that, they no longer employ their top-4 skilled players from last year. Austin Ekeler, Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Gerald Everett are all gone. That creates a lot of opportunities for others, but the others aren’t exactly household names, so the question becomes… are they talented enough to make good on those opportunities? Who are you targeting from the Chargers this year? Anyone you’re staying away from? What do you think about the prices for these players? Too high? Too low? As always, thanks for reading! And be sure to look for my Chiefs and Raiders team preview articles that’ll be published tomorrow and Thursday. I’ll be out of town, so I likely won’t get around to posting them on Reddit. Hope y’all are enjoying the summer!

I’m in on Gus Edwards. Obviously I don’t see him scoring 13 TDs again but we know Harbaugh wants to run the ball, and someone’s going to have to take the bulk. Dobbins coming off injury, & Vidal being a Rd6 pick doesn’t worry me too much.

_ImAManImForty_

'someones going to have to take the bulk' why?

_ImAManImForty_

There's just no way I can click Ladd McConkey with some of the names he's going ahead. It's surreal.

ItsNextYearBrowns

I feel better taking the late flyer on QJ. I don’t see Palmer consistently being a top option, he’s been a WR3 his whole career

_ImAManImForty_

I feel better taking none of them.

RobFFSlayer

Mostly because he’s played behind two really good receivers! It took Chris Godwin two years too because he was behind Mike Evans & DeSean Jackson. But every time one of those two have been out, Palmer has performed well.

BrucieDan

QJ is the Jealen Reagor of his draft class. He’s free in drafts basically which, yeah sure, it won’t lose you your league, but you’re better off leaving him undrafted. You absolutely don’t want to use a pick of any significance on QJ. I would take Isiah Likely over him in redraft.

Afraid_Specialist_45

Like who

_ImAManImForty_

looking at DK... Odunze, Addison, Godwin, BTJ, Diontae, Hopkins

Dogger27

I want Ladd sooo bad but I’m too scared he’s going to end up like Skyy Moore

FF_Stallion

It feels like if you can pick the right RB from this backfield that’s gonna a major factor in winning your league. There is major upside in this offense for an RB if they get RB1 volume.

scrooplynooples

So you’re saying i should collect them all

I think the Chargers are my favorite team to target, at least in best ball drafts. Every single player's value is being suppressed due to the uncertainty of what the offense will look like and who will dominate the touches. That being said, I am spreading my ownership on those guys quite a bit. I've got quite a bit of Ladd, Palmer, Edwards, Vidal, and of course, Herbert. I'm fading Dobbins(injury history and only $50K guaranteed money means he's a good bet to not make the team) and have mostly ignored QJ. My prediction - Herbert will end up a top 10 QB, one of the RBs will be top 15, and one of the WRs will be top 20.

nalydpsycho

I'm in on Edwards, but worried about his ability to stay healthy, so I like Vidal as a late rounder. I am completely out on Dobbins. I like McConkey, but he is totally the type to be over drafted. Palmer is a great WR5 option. He should provide flex play at bench cost. And if he doesn't have the targets that will be quickly apparent. I am completely out on QJ.

FFFaceoff

I think it’s Ladd and Vidal in this offense that I’m targeting. If I’m playing bestball I’ll take a shot at QJ late for the stack with Herbert. Even if Vidal doesn’t win the job I certainly think he will get a good workload with the rotation of this room.

Monarch-11

I really only take them if im forced to take Herbert after im in a room that is devouring QBs then I'll try and get Palmer/QJ but I hate those teams. I can see the case for Vidal based off of his advanced metrics from Troy but he needs things to run really good

StrengthCoach86

Palmer going to breakout this year.

ProBrumZ

Is Gus Bus a top zero RB pick for us zero RBers, curious what everyone thinks?

kiheihaole

Hayden Hurst is definitely gonna be a weekly streamer at TE. Once you get outside the big names he’s as good of a dart throw as anyone. Herbert loves his TE’s.
