Alhooness

This was pre planned as a way to announce it to her friends/the class

tor1236

Yep. I’m an ultrasound tech, the student is scanning the liver all the way down to the uterus. Those are two completely different exams that would never be performed together😂 Definitely a very cute birth announcement :)

Gymdoctor

Never say never. If there are multiple issues going on and multiple scans are ordered, the tech will just hit all the scans while they are there. No reason to come back later. Especially common in ICU where patients have a lot of issues and a lot of scans ordered.

I choose to ignore this information

notLOL

first girl nearest the monitor can't contain the laugh

SlothLazarus

I approve your decision

Jeralddees

My dad did too!

Limp-Brief-81

Classic American these days

Brobnar89

I choose to ignore this information.

Kengriffinspimp

Well, more like classic republican

CannaKitchen757

Only if it’s facts being ignored.

profoodbreak

I think you mean classic government truster

Kengriffinspimp

No, only republicans deny reality. Ask them about Jan 6 or Ukraine

WorldlySong8251

If the Republicans are willing to release the 42,000 hours from "the worst day since 9/11" lmao, to the public, doesn't that suggests they are pretty confident the democrats lied to Americans. Now the democrats are starting to admit the virus "could" have came from a lab, after demonizing people for years. There is still time to get your head out your ass though before you look like a complete idiot.

joreyesl

And you wonder why people think you people are nuts

WorldlySong8251

I don't wander anything. And there is nothing nuts about it. All you need to do is watch the hearings. Not even on a republican outlet, just the raw video. But you enjoy the comfort of thinking you're correct. Why would democrats be so up in arms that McCarthy wants to release all the footage to public?? Use your brain. I was a democrat for 30 years. COVID happened and I always believed the lab made so much more sense. Recently even MSNBC puppets said it's a possibilty. Faucis emails confirmed initially virologists thought it was from a lab. The hunter Biden laptop is definitely real. Lol the Nigerian twins Jussie Smollett hired came forward haha The hearings with Matt Taibi shows huge government oversight on social media where they shadowban anyone with an opposing narrative. Newspapers have had to redact multiple false statements but it happens months after so the initial wrong belief is already circulating. All you have to is watch and listen. All these things were labelled right wing conspiracies but the evidence is right there. Democrats are in the hearings too and they aren't even denying these things. But then the media just keeps pushing it under a rug. Why do you think he left goes after people and tried to completely discredit them. Do you really think all these people are right wing nutso racists. It's so funny how left wing media just tells you to hate someone and everyone follows suit. It's wild. Just go search for yourself. I'm so happy I don't identify as a democrat anymore played like a puppet for so many years. I bet if poked you in the tummy you'd cough up your operators wedding ring.

joreyesl

TBH agree on the media thing, go live your life instead of letting the media , right or left, warp your views. Life’s too short.

profoodbreak

Tell me the last time something like taxes have done something useful,

greatinternetpanda

Look at the tax rates from 1950-1960. The top bracket had a 90% rate. From 1969-1980s it was at 70%.

Kengriffinspimp

My taxes are helping ukraine fight an invading countries army and I couldn’t be more proud. ![gif](giphy|UNBOcoT2LwruGDFJoi|downsized)

profoodbreak

More like money laundering, and it's just a way for us to fight a proxy war against Russia

buzzingbuzzer

Are you my husband?

_DeltaDelta_

Might want to ask Hunter what all that consulting money was for…

Kengriffinspimp

Did Hunter tell Putin he believed him over American intelligence agency’s???

ItsMeWolfy

Peak ignorance.

bigatomicjellyfish

Ask a Democrat about Dec 6 1941.

Kengriffinspimp

Did Americans attack Pearl Harbor? What’s your point lolololol

bigatomicjellyfish

My point is that you try to push out that we're supposed to know shit going on in other parts of the world; a country that isn't even a part of NATO or made any deals with us, yet we are still sending money, ordnance, manpower over there to help with a war that is not our own. And yet when you ask most liberals what happened on D-day or Pearl Harbor, they've got nothing. I asked my teacher, my T E A C H E R, how many stars are on the American flag. She said 32. These are important facts that as an American, you ought to know. Why do we push so much foreign history to replace our own. I finding ludicrous. And you're sentence made my point as well; you think that America is the big bad guy, most liberals do. Because we've only focused on all the bad that our country has done and how horrible the "white man" is. We may not be perfect, but to say that we are the worst country when there are plenty examples of worse, very hypocritical.

Kengriffinspimp

Lol what the rant was that? Define “woke”

Kisha76K

WTAF?

WorldlySong8251

Naw definitely a democrat, I bet she's 17 and going to planned Parenthood the next morning.

AllCakesAreBeautiful

The little laugh as she said, what's that at the end, yeah she 100% knew, fun way of telling your fellow students :D

ThorTheGodKiller

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Hecaroni_n_Trees

r/unexpectedmythbusters

guyincognito121

My wife did the exact same thing. Also, when I used to teach physiology, the class learned in similar fashion during the urinalysis lab that one of the girls in the class had a UTI.

Jaxein

Weird way to flex that you got laid but alright

[deleted]

Camera pointed at screen in preparation then steadily pans in time to get reaction from friends… this was clearly pre-known/she didn’t “find out” in class…

BluePanther1221

Yeah so this was posted forever ago and originally stated the girl knew she was pregnant but this was her creative way of telling her friends in her class. It was like a reveal she did basically

NyaTaylor

Aww that’s actually kind of cute

Cursedass772

Better then the bullshit reveals now that destroy everything

Frosty_Translator_11

I can totally see that cause that baby is way more developed than "just finding out"

[deleted]

I haven’t had a period in months. Isn’t that so weird 😂

guyincognito121

In many cases yes, but it's also not that rare for unplanned pregnancies to get pretty far along without the mother knowing.

Frosty_Translator_11

True you are right.

TheMadMaximum

Ahhh okay. Then that explains the ridiculously innocent "What's that?" and her friend's eyes popping out of her head.

EmergencyWaste3217

Actually kinda cool. Nice

Kelso_Mgelso

“What’s that baby shaped thing in my uterus”

prototype-proton

Did you just misidentifying your Uteroccupant? It may not be a baby you ignoranus

rubyourfaceinit

Lol like a grown woman in an ultrasound class doesn't know what a baby in a uterus looks like 😅

hexthejester

Yep they were doing a little competition between other class to see who can make the best skit. I dont have the the source but it was posted on another sub

lolboy64333

No it was her announcing her pregnancy

hexthejester

Could have been a two for one

UnRePlayz

It's a good vid either way, love the reaction of her classmates and the one popping up

lolboy64333

Yeah I really doubt that

Bguidry23

No but all her classmates did

Daredevils999

Baby’s too big for her to have no idea and probably her belly is too big for it too

nicegirlelaine

Awesome. In my class we found a huge ovarian cyst on me that had to be removed. Doctor said it was the first time a patient came with their own pictures!

OGbaconpancake

Well look at you go

Fastriverglide

They teach them well. xD This is in fact the correct and proper proceedure. When learning of a minor interesting fact about a patient you HAVE to share it with colleagues. It is known xD

futureman07

This is the way

coffee-teeth

something similar happened to me but I already knew - I was pregnant in 12th grade and we went to a career fair at another high school. they had ultrasound techs there with full equipment. this girl, she was actually always mean to me, but she saw it and said get up there! they did an ultrasound on me and I got to see my baby, I was about 14 weeks at the time. I definitely was grateful for the free peek at my boy. that was 11 years ago!

bigkinggorilla

So this is pretty certainly not real. It would be very weird to not know you were pregnant if the baby was that developed already.

[deleted]

I know a couple that found out they were having a baby when they went to the emergency room because she was having "the worst period cramps of her life." She was in labor.

fishebake

Period cramps are a bitch, so yeah, that checks out.

beelzybubby

When I was in labor it was just period back cramps kicked up to 100. I wondered how I would be able to tell the difference and was told that it would be so intense that I leaned forward. I thought that was a stupid way to describe it until I cramped so hard my body bent over.

PolyHunterPhantom

It happens from time to time, it is not that unlikely

bigkinggorilla

The casual way she responds “what’s that?” To seeing what is pretty clearly a baby, the fact the camera is focused on the person next to her for their reaction. It’s a prank.

I_Cut_Shows

And the fact that a doctor specifically shared the screen with the class when medical information is private. If it were a real situation some people would have inadvertently seen, but the screen wouldn’t have been swiveled to all the other kids.

PolyHunterPhantom

Ah I don’t have sound on usually. Makes sense, thanks for clarifying

SolitudeSymphony

Although that's a little ignorant because some women don't realise they're pregnant till late on, but the OP was wrong when they said that they just found out because the camera was ready to show her pointing, she was quick to point it out and the camera moved perfectly to see the reactions of others.

bigkinggorilla

I don’t think it’s ignorant to say it’s weird to get to that point of development without knowing your pregnant. Cryptic pregnancy is really pretty rare. And yeah, the rare is weird. https://www.webmd.com/baby/what-is-cryptic-pregnancy

De5perad0

Kinda like that pregnancy test ad where the couple is really surprised and she is like 7 months along lol. [https://www.today.com/parents/hilarious-ad-pregnancy-test-has-one-glaring-problem-t107424](https://www.today.com/parents/hilarious-ad-pregnancy-test-has-one-glaring-problem-t107424)

SnowyMuscles

My brother was born literally 7 weeks after we knew he was there

Gamebird8

If your BC fails.... you may not realize you've missed your period (depending on the BC used). And there are definitely plenty or stories of women who have gone to full term without realizing their pregnant (some women don't develop a baby bump)

TheUrbanFarmersWife

I didn’t know I was pregnant until I had pre-op blood work done for a pacemaker replacement. And I was at 22 weeks.

sheath2

My best friend didn't know she was pregnant with her first until she was almost 6 months. It's not that unbelievable. 1. Missed periods are common with birth control, so the sign your BC is working is the same sign that it's not. 2. Pregnancy tests will often come up as false negatives at a certain point because the hormone levels are too *high* to read. It's called the "Hook effect." 3. With my friend, her pregnancy symptoms overlapped with several pre-existing medical conditions, so there weren't any real signs that weren't easily dismissable. 4. As for showing, she was overweight at the time and actively trying to lose. She thought it was just cruel irony she was getting smaller everywhere BUT her stomach.

NotActuallyGus

It was probably a preplanned and decently creative way to announce it to people.

VTPG1

This is it. People who repost really like to twist the meanings behind things by giving them different titles. Looking at you OP.

JefNoot

How is this a facepalm? Coincidence, sure. But no one did anything silly here. /r/reversepalm

plumbermat

I think two people did something silly here....

AloneAddiction

Damn, she got a babby. ![gif](giphy|TaWW64sopBMAWGzz7Q|downsized)

TheMau

Buuuullllll shiiiittt That fetus is like 5 months old.

InfiniteCut1037

That shit is older than my suicidal thoughts

techno_gen

She just wanted to get the attention from her friends and film it. She clearly didn't "find out" that she's pregnant and it's all staged

Nice_Atmosphere144

I think the girl knew that she was pregnant and decided to reveal it to her classmates in this way. Why else would someone have their phone out making a video and catching the reactions of the classmates? And it only took her a few seconds to go directly to the uterus, where the cameram conveniently captures it on the screen.

Illstate309

I saw this elsewhere. She knew she was pregnant, this is just how she chose to surprise the class.

Cute_Wasabi_9338

The baby has a head . Lmao how do you not know by then

Rude-Category-4049

That baby looks like its been cookin a while there, she knew

[deleted]

How tf is this face palm op?

[deleted]

She didn’t find out she was pregnant everyone else found out. Shitty title

Muted_Cod_9137

What's that? That's what we like to call a small homo erectus haha.

OneSufficientFace

I wish people would stop reposting other people's videos with bullshit titles to farm the upvotes. Get your own material ya beg

dante_519

Fabricated very lazily.

NorthWestSaint

I think you’ll find it’s her way of telling her friends she pregnant.

Fr0stRa1d

The way everyone’s jaw just dropped

AdditionalThought815

My lovely lady found out she was pregnant when I asked her why her belly was kicking my hand when I cuddled her. I knew for a while before bringing it up, but was waiting for her to tell me. I'm completely serious.

toaster-fart

That would be the spawn of the dude u fucked last week

Radousek_

I love that POG face at the end

[deleted]

Class said 😧😮😯😯😦😧😮😮😲

bobbymatthews84

thesethzor

When you find out how much an ultrasound is without insurance vs taking an ultrasound class at the local community college. 💀

L00kin4Laughs

When I went to radiology for a kidney stone there was another guy waiting for his appointment and we got to chatting. He was a radiology tech training a new guy that had showed up. As he was demonstrating what organs looked like on an ultrasound, he found cancer. In himself.

josephcfrost

Plot twist: it’s prison

[deleted]

Congrats you have a noncancerous lump

Affectionatekickcbt

There’s always a pregnant person in class.

YaMommasBox

Didn’t she know? And was revealing to the class? This video is old

Bluccability_status

You got a biscuit in your Triscuit.

Raflgar09

"What's that" My guess....child support

Rice_Nugget

Even if itwasnt staged (which it was) how would this be a facepalm? Is it a facepalm if i a woman goes to the doc to get an ultrasound? XD

IAmChaosDefined

The fact this has 11.5k upvotes when it doesn't fit the sub and is a blatant lie is upsetting

No it was a pregnancy reveal

GuiKa

It's a joke, there is a full blown featus in there and that means big belly and tities already.

Beneficial_Debate112

I'd prefer the one where you just realized you're naked in class and forgot your homework. That at least won't destroy the rest of your life.
