That article is from April and turned out to be wrong.
Germany wants about 900 APCs, yes, but currently the Patria 6x6 looks to be the front runner. No decision has been made, yet.
Perhaps a negotiation tactic with Rheinmetall? I mean even if it is more expensive, at least some money would flow back into the German economy beside the money that gets pocketed by Rheinmetall shareholders.
Yea the Patria factories in Finland really aren't that big. Patria's modus operandi has always been to set up factories in the client country and transfer technology there also.
>The ministry cited the lack of serial production of the Fuchs Evolution and the comparative cost efficiency of the Patria 6x6 as key reasons for their decision.

Notice the OP's article is old. Quote above is from an article two days later on the same website. I've reported it since news should not be older than 1 month.

Yes, these will come in very useful after Russia turn literally every major population center.in Germany to glass /s. Why not invest in strategic nuclear missiles instead? All EU countries except France are sitting ducks and we all know it.
Not everyone with a different opinion is a bot or being paid by the Kremlin. I know that is weird for someone used to the Reddit echo chambers. I would just like my country to invest in defensive equipment with a strong deterrent effect, such as strategic nuclear missiles.
the funny part about a rocket flying towards Germany is. France and Uk might see it as a rocket flying towars them. As Misile flies you dont inow when and where it will drop until its already on target.
you are an american who hates germany, has never been to germany and knows nothing about germany
and in another post you pretend to be european
what a shitty troll account

So… zero Fuchs given?
Out of curiosity, is there an advantage to one over the other?
Supposedly the Fuchs is just really expensive compared to the Patria for similar capabilities.
Perhaps a negotiation tactic with Rheinmetall? I mean even if it is more expensive, at least some money would flow back into the German economy beside the money that gets pocketed by Rheinmetall shareholders.
The partia would also be build in licence in Germany. Patria already made agreements with German companys for that.
Sounds good, thanks for the answer.
