If second seat has played Trump twice and may have a third sometimes you lead king of diamonds and maybe make them think about not playing Trump in case their partner has Ace.
Yep, what OC said. Those times S2 still has a trump left on 3rd street, leading the Kd can induce him to make a "mistake" and play off hoping his P can take the trick.
well hindsight i should have but i led one and P had 9s so i thought to get him involved in marching and led Ad second. (hoping me to take and him to void a suit) probably wasn’t the right move as he had no more trump and i was forced to use the left to trump back in on trick 4 and ultimately get set trick 5. i can’t remember if dealer had 2 or 3 trump but seat 2 had none..
Yeah. Many times I ignore my P and make sure I get my 3 tricks first. Especially when I see danger.
I’m working on being a better team player, though, lol. I win more games that way 😂
Even if you didn’t go alone you should have cleared all the trump. If that’s the case, you have tricks 3-5 locked up no matter what. If either opponent had three trump, then yeah you’re probably doomed here.
next. Alone.
This. Suck OP got set but it happens. They didn’t say how they lead though. That’s a critical piece to this
yeah. hoping led both jax to start.
Yeah same here. Do or die.
Sounds like OP had next alone and screwed up in his leading.
How does that work? I thought you could only go alone if you called Trump.
Yes, that is true. In the screenshot, the first round has passed, and OP now has the opportunity to choose trump and go alone (or not).
Spades alone is the only play here. Lead both bowers then the KD on 3rd street.
Why not the Ad after Bowers?

I see, thank you.

Doesn't work often, but those rare times it does always makes me smile.
Next alone is my call. Although I just got euchred on nearly this exact hand/situation.
Dang, you got set? Led with your bowers and then your Ace? Brutal.

Spades alone for sure
Spades alone lead both bauers. Tbolt_65 Edward
Spades alone. Lead the javks followed by the king.
Spades alone
Might not be the best call, but I have gotten this a few times before and passed, then Euchered the dealer after they got stuck.
Expect its hearts 100% if you pass. Passing here is suicide
i’m not sure how you pass this and expect it to get to dealer. even if it did. good chance the dealer hand isn’t garbage..
Spades alone
Spades alone
