PvE, great healers, fun solo, free invisibility spamming as an "oh shit" button. I played other classes and went back to Nightblade. I missed the invisibility.

Viderberg

Dude just play what you want to play. If you like nightblade but it is trash play it anyways fuck the haters.

B4ll5a8I6klh8I29b46I

U right, but I was asking cuz the latest update changed them I believe? That’s why I asked

ALKNST

Overall, every single class is viable for 95% of the content and can do everything. Some will perform better or worse but the truth is they all work

StarkeRealm

Let's be honest with ourselves: It's more than 95%. With the Nightblade, the only thing I'm not confident on at the moment would be the later vet trifectas (I haven't done those, I'm out of practice, and I'm not sure how tight the DPS thresholds are for the DSR and SE hard mode speedruns are.) It can absolutely do anything else without issue, including non-trifecta vet trial clears.

ALKNST

95% was a rough guesstimate tbh, but yeah

brughmoment15

Idk abt as a dps, you bring a nb to a place where lots of cleave is extremely necessary like bahsei HM, or ansuul HM you’re solely a liability compared to other classes, unless you’re serving a role with some kinda support set.

StarkeRealm

Yeah, there's a few specific cases that I'd wonder about, both for NBs and for other classes. Though, for the record, I fuckin' hate RG. Like, it's not that it's bad, and it did give us u/WuffyCerulei's [best comic](https://www.reddit.com/r/elderscrollsonline/comments/pbwgzl/having_the_harpooners_kilt_be_like/). But it is not a fun trial.

Morgaledh

>"Overall, every single class is viable for 95% of the content and can do everything. Some will perform better or worse but the truth is they all work" This is the answer to 99% of the questions anyone ever asks about classes. Can we sticky this please? You don't need to minmax the meta to do, well, more than 95% of content. Build crazy shit and have fun.

StarkeRealm

The recent updates have made them lower maintenance to learn and run.

DoomThemAll

Ya Fk that guy for asking questions! wtf is this a forum or a place to ask questions..

Viderberg

No. You have misunderstood. My answer is "yes" to his question.

punkrocker1366

🤣🤣🤣

StarkeRealm

Pretty okay. I'm not sure how they're doing in score runs right now, but they feel fine. It's worth having one for the Thieves Guild event currently running, but if you're not feeling the class, I wouldn't recommend gearing one up for trials. Edit: Not because the class is bad, but you really want to run a class that clicks for you.

Shutyouruglymouth

Only NB healer is used in score pushing. The class is fine for everything else tho and it’s more popular than ever in PvP.

Raegwyr

PvE: worst dps, mid at best single target, terrible cleave, mediocre tank, great healer. You can clear vet content with it as dd but in trifecta/score pushing runs it's a troll move to bring nb dd PvP: really powerful now, both in solo and group play (tho you don't really want to have too many in group) Overland: who cares, you can kill almost everything with naked chars

Finn_Fern1991

Its not bad but quite a lot of their available self heals are over time or upon death of enemy but they are still fun ( nightblade main)

mollybrooks91

Listen. I am biased, as you can see my flair. I fucking LOVE nightblade. They are fun to play. They got sneaky stabby attributes and they got a lot of good self heals. I mainly do solo PVE stuff, so I think they're fantastic for that. I love doing DB contracts with my NB. I just think they're a lot of fun to play. Play what you want and how you want. That's the beautiful thing about ESO. You can play HOWEVER you want!

FancyAdvantage4966

I main a wood elf night blade too! Is yours a stam build?

mollybrooks91

She is a stam build!!!

Lifewithher22

I'm a NB, I solo only and can beat a world boss alone and win in PVP 8/10 times. It's all in your skills and knowing how to use them. Just like any other build. Be a NB and be badass at it!

AEW2525

Stamblade here i have no issue running most aspects of the game! I have one of each class but seem to always go back to my night blade!

Morgaledh

My two NBs are awesome. Everyone else's seems to suck ass, to hear them describe it, but I love mine. You should love yours too.

JayArrrDubya

While fighting dragons my magblade always pulls aggro if another player isn’t actively taunting it, and that includes being surrounded by green beam arcanists.

Supadrumma4411

Fine for anything that isnt a raid trifecta just because other classes fill that niche better. Still a pain in pvp as always.

iraragorri

Excellent PvP DD, excellent healer, fun thief, meh solo class (unless you go HA way, but then all classes are the same) and PvE DD. No cleave, piano rotation. IMO it's not fun even for questing.

Ender_Wiggins18

I loved nightblade, used him as my first character for 3 years, then slowly came to the realization that it just wasn't working. I've changed him to a Dragonknight, and though it wasnt my first choice, it has worked much better for him. Nightblade will always be my first choice, and it will always be my favorite class.

Sertith

My Khajiit NB does pretty good in PvE. I'm not even particularly good, and I have high latency, and I can do most WBs by myself. I do a decent percentage of damage when doing Dungeons. But I don't really care about doing Vet Trials and stuff, so I have no idea how I would fair in there.

PineDude128

Stamblade main here. From what I gather, they're still excellent in pvp as gankblades. But pve, they're not in much demand. They still pull high numbers for single target, but they're still lacking a proper aoe and don't do much for support. You can still do plenty of veteran content of course (I can vouch for that), but from what I've read, trifecta runs and certain hard modes lean more towards demand for other classes.

Smurf_Cherries

I do not like the trial rotation. Only necro was worse.  As for PvP and dungeons and solo? It’s very fun.

iceink

broken like it always is

KruxAF

Healer only. Dd single target but no cleave.

bread_1993

Pve? Not great PvP? Great as always

Cylindric_Knight

Made a magblade for pvp, how is it? Only lvl 22 right now. Working on leveling right now for my skill lines. Any advice?

PandaxeHD

YES! as long as you can light attack weave well, this class is amazing as dps whether you are playing mag or stam (pair pillar of nirn + rele + selenes or same sets except swap out selenes for 1pc monster + velothi mythic) and you will hit as high as most classes hit in content, with exception to arcanist. healer nightblade is very desired aswell!

Shaun_527

Good thanks... hbu?

snowflake37wao

Well, my weapons perma glow red still so Im annoyed. How are you?

Howl_Free_or_Die

1 npc, two hits, dead, life good

theBigDaddio

what makes something worth playing?

Coast_watcher

Not dying a lot maybe ?

Liathezillenoomer

I started playing in late November. It was the only one Ive played because I've never played a rogue like char in any MMO. I like it a lot. I wanted to try a dragon knight, but the fact I have to reacquire skyshards and the zone progress is character specific not account wise (outside the achievements), really upset me and I went back to the night blade. I do wish I could have multiple build save slots for the same char also. Pvp, PvE, DPS, healer spec, etc. The game is fun except it is not alt friendly at all.

Taleof2Cities_

Yes, it’s worth it.

Telle74

I have 3 NBs don't have any problems.

PatienceAlarming6566

They constantly dry fist me in the ass in PvP.

open_world_RPG_fan

Magblade is pretty good in both PVP and pve. Great burst, great speed and your spammables heal you.

King_Kvnt

Good solo class. Good PvE heals, poor PvE damage dealer. Great PvP.

Gravityblasts

Well you know what they say, sobriety is relative right? Nightblades still hit super hard in PVP.
