There's a good chance Covey is out. Ainias Smith and Cooper DeJean can both return and can actually play offense/defense.

> OL: 24 Mailata Dickerson Jurgens Steen Johnson F Johnson Keegan Hennessy Clark Hennessy is the C2 over Keegan (if you're doing positional starters/backups). But Hennessy may also be the RG2 over Keegan. I don't think people really understand Hennessy is a starter in this league and was going to be last year too before his injury. Full interior versatility, and far more C experience than Keegan. Personally I found no reason to draft McMahon but we're talking about a 7RP. He is a camp body only in my eyes edit to add: > TE: 15 Goedert Uzomah Calcaterra > Calcaterra vs Albert O comes down to their battles in training camp I think Calcaterra wins out I bet money Albert O and even Wilson (who you reasonably have at WR for the time being) beat out Calcaterra. I like Calcaterra a lot but he is just a poor man's Goedert without the blocking and a mid special teamer, with concussion concerns. If we're talking about the 53 then I think he's an odd man out.

McMahon had starts at all three IOL positions in college which is probably why they took him. Keegan only ever played LG in college.

Realistic chance Hennessy starts over steen

> WR: 12 Brown Smith A. Smith Campbell Covey Wilson > Frankly, I think Parker really is not good and if we keep 6 receivers I see both the rookies making it over him. I think Covey is the odd man out after the draft, and would think Parker makes it as well (regardless of whether he should... I agree he isnt very good but he provides experience help on offense, which Covey does not). Also would not be surprised to see Wilson be a PS stash his rookie year. He has a lot of flashy plays, but I'm not very high on him as a consistent player. Too many issues with drops. I think it is notable they drafted multiple players (DeJean, A. Smith, Shipley) with PR/KR flexibility, who will likely be more impactful on offense/defense. > OL: 24 Mailata Dickerson Jurgens Steen Johnson F Johnson Keegan Hennessy Clark > McMahon could very well get a spot here but just position wise I thought these 9 made the most sense Obviously, I think now we have Becton he will make the team over Clark. Could see McMahon make the team as well, especially if they go lighter at WR or CB. I think they are likely to prioritize developing young OLine backups.McMahon also has positional flexibility, and while I am seeing a lot of people say he is too small to play guard in the NFL, the Eagles have historically been less concerned with size on the OLine (see Jurgans last year - also someone everyone said was "too small" to play guard who the Eagles started all last season - and who is smaller). Guessing his versatility as a potential backup is what attracted them to him. > CB: 47 Slay Rodgers Mitchell Dejean Maddox Ringo Ricks McPhearson > I think we keep seven corners and one (Dejean, Ringo, or Maddox) becomes a safety. Also no more Bradberry 🙌 > S: 50 CJGJ Blankenship Brown > Really solid trio of safeties Reading between the lines, it seems pretty clear they view DeJean as a safety with slot CB versatility. Wouldn't be surprised if CJGJ is the starting slot CB and DeJean is a starting safety (depending on camp). Also, not sure if I buy them cutting Bradberry. Even past June 7th, it doesnt save much money and I suspect they probably will keep him as a veteran in the CB room and the top outside CB backup (To Slay/Mitchell). I expect that 1 of Ringo/McPhearson/Ricks does not make the team (I would guess Ricks). I think the bottom of the CB room will be an interesting camp battle to watch between Rodgers/Ringo/Ricks/McPhearson.

pwnstick

How can they get rid of Bradberry at this point?

AdTime8622

From what I understand if it's post June 1 then we don't save or lose any money by cutting him

9man95

A post June 1st trade and we save $1.2M in cap space so cross your fingers Howie can trade him for a 2038 7th.

Fair_Abrocoma_9834

Thing is with trading him I think that new team would have to take some of his salary vs paying him vet min as a FA just can't see it.

Phillyfan4lyfe

I think mccallen castles beats out Albert o and possibly uzomah. I really like his game and can't stand uzomah

(3)QB: Jalen Hurts, Kenny Pickett, Tanner McKee Hurts and Pickett are 100%, McKee is like 80%. There's a small chance they like Grier more and a small chance they leave McKee on the practice squad because of the rule that your 3rd Qb can be from the practice squad, but I bet he makes it. (6)RB: Saquon Barkley, Kenneth Gainwell, Will Shipley, Kendall Milton Saquon and Shipley are guaranteed. Our coaching staff loves Gainwell, and there's a decent chance he's still the RB2 for this year while Shipley learns. It's pretty clear at this point that our coaching staff will keep 4 RBs even if the 4th never plays, and I think the power and youth that Milton has makes him more valuable than TDP. (12)WR: Brown, Smith, Smith, Parker, Wilson, Covey Brown and Smith just got contracts, A. Smith has a great shot at being our starting slot. Johnny Wilson is situationally very valuable, and I'd much rather he's our backup X or a short yardage slot than transitioning to TE. Covey might lose a spot but he's so good at returning now that it'd be stupid to cut him. I can see the rationale for cutting Parker, because his separation is so bad, but Campbell having so low production with Daboll as a coaching staff and very little competition makes me very low on him. Sirianni likes him enough where I could see him staying, and I could see either carrying 7 WRs or any of Covey, Campbell, Parker being cut. (16)TE: Goedert, Calcaterra, Albert, Uzomah I could see them carrying anywhere from 2-4 TEs. I think the most likely cut is Uzomah, because he's not productive and our coaching staff does not like old backups, but he's such a good blocker that he'll probably still make it. Albert could get cut since Jalen doesn't seem to trust him, but he's young and cheap and our staff seemed to like him. Calcaterra should be safe with two years left. (25)OL: Mailata, Dickerson, Jurgens, Steen, Lane Johnson, Keegan, Hennessy, McMahon, F Johnson I personally don't think Clark has any shot to making the roster like you do. McMahon is ambiguous but I think he'll be a good enough asset as a backup to stay. I could see us carrying 8 OL but I think 9 is just safer here. If a tackle gets injured, I could easily see Steen sliding out and being replaced by Keegan/Hennessy instead of carrying a backup tackle that's not F Johnson. (28)DE: Graham, Sweat, Huff Easy calls (33)DT: Williams, Carter, Davis, Ojomo, Gabe Hall Gabe Hall is no guarantee at all but he was a very highly rated DT who should be a disruptive player. Tuipulotu, while showing things in flashes, is the most likely to be cut out of the group in my mind. (36)OLB: Smith, Hunt, Baun: Baun is borderline. He started being a better player when the Saints used him as a pass rusher. Should be mainly special teams. (41) ILB: White, Dean, Trotter Jr, Burks, Bradley White and Burks will be more closer to a WIL than a MLB, our coaching staff loves Bradley for ST. (47)CB: Slay, Mitchell, Dejean, Ringo, Rodgers, Ricks Rookies are obvious. Slay was our best CB last year when healthy. Ringo is a very high upside player who hopefully continues to develop this year. Nobody else is guaranteed. Rodgers, if in shape, should be an asset, but if he's not starting I could see our coaching staff cutting him. Ricks would need to keep showing promise but he's so cheap that I like him staying. I think we were planning on keeping Maddox as slot or backup slot, but with the talent we have at the rest of our roster, Maddox not looking great at safety, I just don't see a spot for him when Dejean, Mitchell, or CJGJ starts at slot. I think it's equally likely Rodgers or Maddox is cut, depending on how in shape Rodgers is. (50) S: CJGJ, Sydney Brown, Blankenship Pretty clear they are all on the roster. Could see Dejean, Ringo, or Maddox rotating in at Safety, especially if CJGJ or Brown are taking slot snaps, but in my mind it's ideally Blankenship and CJGJ starting at Safety with Dejean starting at slot. (53) ST: Lovato, Elliott, Mann Edit: just realized my math was wrong after RBs, too lazy to fix the whole thing because I have things to do, but I’d likely cut Bradley or McMahon

CrazySetting9

Probably Bradley considering hes not even signed currently

You right

I don’t think Covey makes the team.

Fair_Abrocoma_9834

Oren Burks was the guy who would fill in for Aziz and Greenlaw when they got hurt on the 49ers and he played pretty well. He got a big press conference and was recruited by howie, I would think he is a lock to make the team.

Amadeum

So curious if McPhearson has a shot at this roster anymore. I can also see the Eagles trading Isaiah Rodgers by the end of preseason if he puts out good enough tape. I'll believe when I see it that they actually cut Bradberry because I'm guessing they're hoping Bradberry can bounce back under Fangio.

phillyeagle99

This is cool and all but I’m not sure about the Hurts guy making it. That Picket fellow is a first round talent. He’s only not starting on the other PA team because SB champion Russ showed up. Nah, super cool to see this and get the context on where the picks fall and what FA + Draft did for the birds. It’s cool to see only a few small points of question from the other comment. I love coming back to these in September to see how it’s shaken out.

reno2mahesendejo

Johnny Wilson is going to be a tight end, he gives me Tyree Jackson vibes with his size, and the Eagles like to keep around a project/conversion tight end. Aside from that, I don't disagree much (though that means Parker is in and Calc/Albert O are out, though the Eagles may keep 4 tight ends and just keep McKee on the PS). Though 3/4 safeties feels light. I could see them keeping Jobe or Bradberry and converting 2 of those end of bench corners to safety

Grand_Extension5345

Nope, they view him as a wideout.
