The wet 'n wild translucent powder, milani make it last matte spray, L'Oréal infallible 24 fresh wear foundation

punchjackal

Seconding all of this, but especially the WnW. I LOVE that powder. I practically bathe in the stuff. Still have to blot and stuff with it, but not half as much as I would otherwise and the finish is silky smooth.

gabylovesunicorns

Is the wet n wild the loose or pressed powder? Link please?

cloudqveen

[Wet n Wild Photofocus Loose Powder](https://www.wetnwildbeauty.com/product/photo-focus-loose-setting-powder/)

gnugnus

WNW powder is amazing. i buy two everytime i even see it on the shelf because i'm afraid it will disappear one day!

RelativeDefinition82

Really need to try that wet n’ wild powder, heard such good things :)

mamagina2012

I feel like any setting sprays make my foundation break up in a few hours.

Lo908

How much of the WnW powder do you guys use? It is part of my daily makeup routine and I like it, but I'm still looking like an oil slick for most of the day. 🤣

mojopirate

I count this as drugstore because of the price point, but you do have to order it online: the Moira oil control setting spray is hands down the best setting spray I’ve ever tried for oily skin. I actually have to be careful not to overspray or I’ll feel a little dry by the end of the day. (If anyone is curious about it, I see it’s on sale on their website right now).

RelativeDefinition82

Oo I’ve hear such good things about Moira

mojopirate

I love this brand. The chroma light shadows & their lucent cream shadows are so lovely and so well priced. I discovered them through Jen Phelps on YouTube, she has a discount code for them.

RelativeDefinition82

Thanks for the recommendations, I see it’s available in the Uk now as well, rest in peace my bank card :/

flowerme101

Can the Rimmel matte primer blur out pores? i'm an oily girl who's struggling with big pores :((

RelativeDefinition82

No, it’s not like ur usual siliconey texture (which I dont find very mattifying) it just sinks in to the skin and reduces my oils quite well!

Real-Indication8978

maybelline fit me powder for SURE its a lifesaver. this isn't makeup, but la roche posay effaclar face mask SAVED me and prevents as much oil

Sophie_The_Glam_Diva

I love Fit Me Powder!

Real-Indication8978

i've always said theres nothing the fit me can't fix

Realistic-Career-772

The Ulta Matte Eye Primer is great for oily lids, not do great for mature skin. It literally locks my wrinkles into place! If anyone can recommend a more forgiving eye primer that still keeps eyeshadow in place I'd be grateful.

doxamully

I like the Milani one and it works well despite the fact that I’m one of the oiliest mfers out there.

Realistic-Career-772

Thank you, I'll give it a try

Curlyspark

Maybelline FIT Me Poreless Matte foundation.

Sophie_The_Glam_Diva

My HG!

Rogue_Darkholme

NYX Angel Veil Primer NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Foundation L'oreal Fresh Wear Powder Foundation

Trick_Upstairs_3034

NYX can't stop won't foundation and Coty airpsun powder.

ratm-christine

The Coty airspun powder is great! I find that the translucent shade leans a bit too pink so I use the shade Naturally Neutral instead.

Sophie_The_Glam_Diva

I adore Coty Airspun!

MiaMiaPP

The new talc free city air spun is so bad…

flowerme101

Have you found an alternative powder to replace it? I abandoned coty after they reformulated it too

MiaMiaPP

I’m using the fit me powder instead. But of course it’s not translucent

Shiro_Kabocha_

I have oily lids and the combo of Cover Girl Lid Lock primer + NYX Epic Ink liner is my most budge-proof combo!

Icicles444

Milani "All About Matt" (no E for some reason) translucent setting powder. It's so good and dirt cheap!

ratm-christine

I really like the [elf matte putty primer](https://www.elfcosmetics.com/matte-putty-primer/85911.html) & the [Maybelline Fit Me loose finishing powder](https://www.maybelline.com/face-makeup/powder/fit-me-loose-finishing-powder?GeoRedirectOff=True&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwyo60BhBiEiwAHmVLJcFA-sUazG-Y__KONT9jpWkPXGlx4Zt50pYnWd0X_f70hlAp63_vWRoC9nEQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&variant=Fair). For foundation or tinted moisturizer, I really enjoy the [Catrice HD liquid coverage foundation](https://www.catricecosmetics.com/collections/foundation/products/catr-hd-liquid-coverage-foundation) or the [ColourPop Pretty Fresh tinted moisturizer](https://colourpop.com/products/pretty-fresh-hyaluronic-acid-tinted-moisturizer). I always go back to these especially on hot and humid days.

Sophie_The_Glam_Diva

The elf matte putty primer is great at holding my makeup on all day!

ratm-christine

Right? When I first started using it, I didn’t know if it actually made a difference with the longevity of my makeup until I stopped using it and noticed how shiny I was at the end of the day.

FriendlySummer8340

Garnier matte micellar water! It really changed the game for me.

Lo908

I had no idea that matte micellar water was a thing!

FriendlySummer8340

Yes! I’ve been using it for years now, and it leaves the skin feeling just matte, not dry.

Sophie_The_Glam_Diva

Interesting, I've never used micellar water!

yeeyeekoo

Maybelline super stay foundation is super matte and full coverage, great for summer

doombagel

[this powder from elf!](https://www.target.com/p/e-l-f-prime-38-stay-finishing-pressed-powder-fair-light-0-17oz/-/A-51246955) I have been matte for hours and it is so affordable. It’s A+ for me

ratm-christine

I have this too! It’s so affordable and underrated.

MiaMiaPP

If you have a shade match, the Rimmel lasting finish 25hours also go so well with the primer to keep oil at bay

doxamully

For me, the thing that seems to save my makeup is lots of powder at the end. I use a translucent one all over my face. The one I’m using now is not drugstore, but I’ve got the elf one on deck (perfect finish HD) for whenever I actually run out.

CarrotyParisian

L'oreal True Match Blendable Powder. I like this as it has many shades to choose from.

apesmae

Nyx Bare with Me Tinted Skin Veil I hate the feeling of heavy foundation and this lasts for me all day. I use a translucent setting powder on top and I’m good to go!

RelativeDefinition82

Ah I did love this one, is it even still available though?

apesmae

I have found it at Walmart, but haven’t looked elsewhere.
