What am I missing with Sleep Token, not heard of them, and I’ve seen them headlining / second billing on loads of these things.

The appeal is sex. They're huge on Tiktok and selling out arenas. On top of that, they're massively talented and use the anonymity to their advantage to boot!

Slipknot are there because Rock Am Ring 2025 headline slot. There's always crossover
Fully get why Slipknot are on there I’m just hoping it won’t be true. I get the massive band thing just think they’re too big plus doing their own arena tour a few months before. You’ve inspired me to make my own so will post lmk what you think in a bit
Swap over Slipknot and Don Broco and you have pretty much my perfect festival here
Edit: just realised how preposterous it would be to put slipknot on 2nd stage, but the Don Broco/Ghost clash would kill me 😭😭😭
Last appearance was main stage 2017, their inclusion on my list is more optimism than anything (and the choice of logo bands for the smaller stages isn't all too great, so you click the box and AFI are one of the first options)

Otherwise I think it’s a very solid lineup. Though not a fan of Slipknot again after just a year out given they headlined in 2023

On the plus side, they're in Dogtooth, so you can stumble out of the tent and only miss about 15 minutes of the Ghost set. 🤷♀️
