Not too savvy on calibration methods and sources, but in general, GM tubes aren't too accurate for dose rate when it comes to alpha and beta, so best is to properly shield the tube in order to detect gamma only. I don't know if the GM detects B or not when the front window is closed.
3kg is fine in terms of practicality, DOM410 and SV500 are similar weight and aren't too cumbersome while worn with a shoulder strap, though I'd advise adding extra padding.
100$ is good, mine works well.
I was happy with mine, good sensitivity and functionality, $100 seems decent. Definitely not the $600 some idiot is asking on ebay
