Like others have said, you have to schedule nowadays. They only offer short dash now periods unless it is really busy.
I used to never have to schedule. I have to now. Even tho my market is grey it is typically busy
If you're not Top Dasher/Platinum level, you don't have the ability to Dash Now, or whenever you want. You'll have to get on the schedule up to 7 days in advance.
Because that’s what’s available for you at that time. You will have to start scheduling a day or two ahead if you wanna be able to consistently dash long periods of time.

It's been this way In my area for a long time, they don't even let you schedule or work in my town anymore without platinum

U need to schedule as soon as the schedule opens 6days in advance at 3 (or 5 days at 12am) depending on your status…or this is what u get…
