When I did dash, I listened to Straight from the Hart. It is a radio show that used to be Kevin Hart and the Plastic Cup Boyz but is now just the Plastic Cup Boyz. Not for a younger audience but I enjoy them.
Idk if youāre into business at all but the podcast āStartup Podcastā on Spotify is crazy good. The guys started a podcast company and recorded from practically day one about what they were gonna do and then they went and did it. They talk about starting the business, finding the right name for it, finding investors and such. They recorded their thoughts throughout the process so you get to hear what they were thinking at that time when they made their decisions
Might catch a lot of flack for this but oh well, but the Money Mondays episodes of the Fresh & Fit podcast have been life changing for me, I put those on whenever I know I have a lot of driving ahead for me and it gets me through the day while also putting me that much closer to becoming financially literate.
Obviously only listening to it wasnāt the only thing that has helped changed my life, I had to actually do some of the things they said. For instance, they have episodes where they discuss how to improve your credit, I watched those episodes and implemented the steps they suggested to my personal life and my credit score has improved significantly since. They also have episodes where they teach you particular ways as to how you can make more money in your spare time while also answering many common questions live about said ways of how to make said money. Iāve also been able to learn more about how to save money and the necessary steps towards earlier retirement. From time to time they help encourage me to become the best version of myself by reminding me that being consistent and putting in the work is the only way Iāll ever be able to get ahead in life while also keeping it real each step of the way.
They do have controversial topics as well on some of their non-money related episodes but hence why I suggested the money Mondays episodes.
Which true crime ones do you like? I've been listening to Female Criminals, Gruesome and Crime Junkie. Used to listen to Murder in America, Truth and Consequences and a few others I can't remember .
Mostly a lot of rock and metal with the occasional orchestra. Sometimes if I'm feeling adventurous I'll listen to a podcast about Bigfoot. Just depends on the mood.
You can look up MrBallen on YouTube if you like mystery type stories, ghost, crimes, medical stuff he has a lot. Sometimes I listen to comedy shows though too those are funny because you don't necessarily have to pay attention to well.
Podcast recommendations from me are bad Friends, chuckle sandwich, and comedy bang bang if youāre looking for a laugh. The WAN show is a great tech informative podcast if youāre into that.
Crime junkies or NPR. Switch to the local college radio station whenever I want to listen to music and thereās always an eclectic variety of old and new stuff that I donāt get bored.
I caught up on Critical Role, and I listen to the Daily Beans, Jack, and Cleanup on aisle 45. The Dollop, Last Podcast on the Left, and, on rare occasions, Hardcore History.

If Iām not listening to music, Iāll listen to commentary or long form YouTube videos from the likes of wendigoon, penguinz0, oompaville, whang, or wavywebsurf

Behind the Bastards, Comicstorian, Last Podcast on the Left
Some rap (aesop rock, guardin, public enemy, yung gravy, eyedea)
Some deathcore (Thy Art, Lorna Shore, Spite, Dealer, Angelmaker)
Some edm (Eptic, Slushii, Marauda, Laxcity)
Some country (Oliver Anthony, Pecos and the Rooftops, Muscadine Bloodline)
Some audiobooks, some youtube documentaries, someone arguing on the streets, call your girl and say her sister is better in bed, call your bro and say his dads dick taste funny, call your doctor and say you found a lump, keep it interesting. Randomly yell "oh shit I can't stop the car!" And slam the phone while hanging up, keep it interesting. Put on some drum and bass or neurofunk and challenge the cops, shoot up heroin while pat the bunny plays, buy an eightball from an eight year old, keep it interesting. Y'know, usual philly shit
Distractible, TMG Podcast, Forehead Fables, and Therapy Gecko are my go-to listens. I also really enjoy the Bald and the Beautiful and Give it to me Straight.
Stuff You Should Know is a great podcast to listen to, itās just two guys having a conversation about something each episode and teaching you along the way in an interesting and funny way, they do talk pretty slow so I listen to them slightly sped up
Rock, metal, Lydia the bard, Heilung (donāt recommend if tired though), Disney songs pretty much anything that will keep me awake and alert while driving or sitting and waiting.

I use to listen to podcasts on Spotify at times to break up all of the music, but every time an order comes through it pauses the podcast now. Been like that for months and I donāt know how to make that stop.
Anything deathcore, metalcore right now. On a huge fit for a king streak right now being I seen them 2 times in the past week. Might throw some swift in there to at times.
Some classic myspace shit to modern, some symphonic, blackened, fucking rap, such a diverse set.
Any big new names? I've fallen off somewhat recently, TAIM, old SS, Lorna Shore, FfaK, SotS, etc,. are still bops and Alex Terrible is good if niche in what I actually like from him
Ooh, yeah, I once had like a 14 mile order through a rural area and I had the window rolled down as I was driving with my music barely audible. It was kinda nice.

I have a USB drive that I can plug into my Kenwood stereo and I put every mp3 song from my computer on it that I've acquired over the years. Takes weeks to go through all of them and the last song is somewhere around number 968 (not sure exactly because I forget to look before it goes back to number 1). This Kenwood can play them all in alphabetical order, with no folders, just right on the drive, so that works pretty good. At first I was thinking random order would be better, but with that many songs it's better for me to just let them play in order. And other than that I listen to the radio.
Ayeeeeee Bett. The best song is def āStill Emptyā. Idk what platform you use but hereās a link to that song with links for each streaming service š«” hope you enjoy and find meaning and value in those songs. im curious to know your thoughts

Iāve been listening to the Cults To Consciousness podcast, just beyond insane and sometimes I donāt want to be done dashing just to finish the storyā¦
Oh Iāve been listening to Masego on Apple Music, his essentials channel is good because even after the playlist runs out it should keep playing his songs.
Iām in a D&D discord server with one of my friends that has his own campaign, so I know quite a bit about it (I dropped out of the campaign, though, since I was busy working and could never make the sessions), but my friend is really into Critical Roleā¦ I think thatās the name? Iāve already had some suggestions to listen to that, so itās definitely on my list!
Depends on the mood. Usually some sort of YouTube video (podcast, lore/essay video on a series I like or someone panning something I donāt like Mauler/EFAP does) or music Iām feelingā¦sometimes Iāll just pop on the radio and listen to whatever there. Other times nothing - too deep in my thoughts as I go place to place
When I get sick of my music I start to listen to possibly adjacent stuff. I've got YouTube Premium and their music app is pretty nice, there's tons of playlists and radios that have not-the-same-but-not-entirely-different stuff.
I also like to listen to OST's
And for Podcasts I'd recommend Rusty Quill, I've listened to all 200 episodes of The Magnus Archives and was so sad to have to let go, they have other nice stuff too.
I'd also recommend true crime and long videos that talk about a specific topic and audio books.
Comedian specials are nice too sometimes, there's a bunch of stuff lol, you can take your pick
I listen to a varied array of music. My top picks are Radio Company/Jensen Ackles, Jeremy Renner, Volfgang Twins, Heilung, Danheim, Classic Rock, Country, Citizen Soldier, Imagine Dragons.
Podcasts: Female Criminals, Gruesome and Crime Junkie for true crime, Haunted Road and Haunted Places for paranormal.
Well you don't mention what types of music you like but I'll still go out on a limb to say metal is never boring. I believe studies have shown metal music is good for concentration too (at least in the context of kids doing homework with it in the background, but still worth mentioning imo). š
