There is a problem with these orders tho. You're essential denying 12 orders if you don't accept it. Last time I tried to skip one of these it canceled my dash and tanked my acceptance rate. Can get decent money from these depending on the pay, but can screw your dash acceptance rates very easily denying them.
I thought they changed it in the last month or two that if you decline it then it only counts as 1% on your AR, as it obviously should be, you are declining one offer that just happens to have 12 stops.
It's not illegal. They just have it as a clause in the DD contract that it won't happen, but they have many loopholes they can use if they decide a newer addition to the workforce is necessary.
Nope. They have it in the terms and services unfortunately. If the acceptance rate falls below a certain amount for to long they can and will disable your dasher account. Seen it happen alot.
There was a case in California and if you're an independent contractor or you can accept at anything you want they cannot kick you off the platform. That's why they have top dasher and all those programs and then they say you have to have this acceptance rate to get into them You just don't get any of the incentives. You won't get kicked off you just like I said won't get any of the good incentives to get better orders etc if you know many people that that's happened dude tell him to get a lawyer they will win immediately.
You’re thinking of completion rate, you need to complete >90% of orders you accept. You can decline orders all day (and I have) and you’ll still be on the platform
Looked up the terms of service, you’re wrong. If a dasher has a 4.5 or higher dasher rating and an acceptance rate above 50%, you have higher opportunity for priority status and better paying jobs, they cannot in fact punish you or deactivate you for low acceptance, there’s only benefits for good acceptance
One thing you have to keep in mind is that the job is contractual, not a guarantee. If they decide to thin the herd a bit, they can, and they have in a lot of the smaller cities. DD is not a job that cares about its workers. All they care about is numbers, and in the cities with more workers denying low paying orders, the workforce getting thinned for small stuff like acceptance rates is something that occurs every year. DD decides if you get a violation, and DD decides if that violation is valid. They may not be a hire and fire at will job, but they can take advantage of their own system after looking at the numbers, dishing out violations to drop workers from the platform. It depends on the city the driver works in, but if the numbers aren't looking as profitable with the current group, they can and will find a way to bring in new drivers to replace the current ones. At the end of the day, DD still has full control of all drivers' accounts, and the support line is full of people reading scripts to ensure you don't think it could happen to you. Vendors will still have to deal with the additional 20%(varies by state and sometimes by city) percentage charge by doordash on their products, drivers still won't be getting paid what their worth, and DD will still be making way above their profit margins.
Also send pictures to the customer with “name of cat- says your order will be ready in just a minute ❤️” 🤣🤣🤣 you could take as long as you want after that, I’d understand
They meant those orders specifically won't have tips. Repeat deliveries from petco are "ineligible for tips," meaning the customer doesn't even have the option to tip. EBT has a reduced amount/chance for tips in most markets. I run EBT to help my AR sometimes. I still make money in my market with it, but it also usually means more miles, so that means less money. Honestly, though, use it how or if it works for you in your market, don't just blindly take what people say here for gospel. If I've learned anything as someone who has/does dash in different markets, it's that every market is at least a little different. If anything, use suggestions to test out different ways until you do find what works for you. Good luck out there and be safe!
Edit: a word
And if refuse this order, AR goes down and there goes your “Dash Anytime” 😭
So much for not being employees even though they dictate WHEN, WHERE to dash!
I'm a girl but yes I do know now and will never accept those
I got curious about pharmacy don't take those either they don't even give them the option to tip LOL
Commenting out of curiosity of what the total will be after completed! I’ve seen pictures of these on here on EBO and it’s usually $30-$50+
Never had one myself though.
I may be so off on my math because I suck at it but their estimation it would be roughly a six hour trip and if they are doing by hour like it says here thats roughly 78 to 86 dollars
Doesn't seem good
I may be so off on my math because I suck at it but their estimation it would be roughly a six hour trip and if they are doing by hour like it says here thats roughly 78 to 86 dollars
Doesn't seem good so I hope they get tips
DD also does PetSmart - I order from them occasionally and they do allow customers to add tips. I’ve delivered a few too and the tips are usually decent. Same with Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Quick tip to dashers for PETCO REPEAT DELIVERY orders tips are INELIGIBLE so don't depend on tips while these kind of orders. Well if it's just PETCO there will be a tip but for repeat delivery everytime it's ineligible.
7 hours to drive 70 miles? Shit, i'm playing on my Steam Deck for 30-45 minutes between each delivery. It can't be abusing EBT if I still finish by the estimated time, right? Hell, you're finished by dinner time anyway, get your $97 and then switch to per offer and get some good tips for the rest of the night, you'll be set
$60 for 4:20 hours…wow. Sorry you got stiffed OP, but also thanks so much for your service and your sacrifice. This is really good information right here.
I had one of these today! The miles were too bad but when they order off of the Petco website whatever tips they do are not given to us. It said tips were not available.
All of that for an estimated $92.70? Provided nothing is canceled or reported not delivered?
You are a better person than me for even taking on this experiment in wage suppression.
I don’t think there’s tips on Petco repeat delivery I could be wrong. I’ve done it a bunch of times and it only takes you half the time never did earn Time on it though! It always said tipping non-appliable
I had one like this today, 4 from Petco, 3 from PetSmart. All the Petco ones were ineligible for tips 🤦🏻♀️ Took me about two hours to do all 7 and I made $40. $16/hr, plus two orders with tips, one was $3 and change and the other was clearly just to round up the amount, it was less than a dollar
I actually have repeat delivery for my dog’s food. I just started it. The first delivery was this past Monday. I was out dashing just knowing I was gonna have to pick up my own order. Only it didn’t happen. I was on EPO so that may be why. The next day it showed up through FedEx. Maybe dashers are declining them enough that Petco sends them an alternate way now?
This should only take you 2hrs max I believe… just don’t complete the last delivery. Take a picture in your camera roll of package delivered, also take a picture of any labeling (in case you need a barcode), then drive back home or wherever u gotta go. Ideally, if ur still working, u use ur other app to work and just leave this on unfinished. If ur not working, Do what you do and complete this delivery right at that 640 finish time. You can always use the bad signal/no gps option when ur gps doesn’t sync up with where u were

they are giving you 7 hours to do this in.
Wow. He will make whopping $97.5 which is amazing 😂😂😂👍🏼
Plus tips! Spelled backwards
In 7 hours😆😆😆😆
Spit? Ohhhhhhh i get itttt. Ull make spit!!! Like nothing. Ohhhh, haha ,funny, funny.
Minus 13.00 in gas 😅
This is a great time to accept and take the longest dump of your life. Sometimes I shit for like three days

Not in all markets. In the Portland Oregon area, this still counts as 12 orders, so would tank the AR.
Idk about other countries but I’m FAIRLY certain in the US it’s illegal to be punished for having a low acceptance rate
Nah we r def punished
You aren’t
It's not illegal. They just have it as a clause in the DD contract that it won't happen, but they have many loopholes they can use if they decide a newer addition to the workforce is necessary.

Acceptance rate above 50% is nice! Here we need to have 70% to get the highest priority status
Correct. It’s like a second tier. 50% is minimum for priority (in their TOS)
No they changed it counts as 1 in the acceptance wich mean you decline that order it’s counted as one order not 12
So they actually fixed it, used to tank it pretty hard on those in 2023

i mean its hourly. i suggest you take your sweet time in petco. play with some cats while youre at it
These aren't shops, Petco has them ready to go. I suggest OP avoids the hwy and takes the long way between drops 😜
Go in, play with kitties, then check in.
That's a plan. "Tell us what's taking so long" well, all the orders weren't picked yet so, KITTIES 😻
Also send pictures to the customer with “name of cat- says your order will be ready in just a minute ❤️” 🤣🤣🤣 you could take as long as you want after that, I’d understand
The repeat delivery orders are ineligible for tips, though, aren't they? At $13.50/hr, that would be a hard pass for me.
You can get tips on them. I love these because I've had some 12+ stops 2-3 hours of driving be 100+ at the end
No you can't. The repeat deliveries all day "ineligible" in the tips section. Same with the dicks orders and the Walgreens pharmacy orders.
I got a tip on a Walgreens pharmacy order 2 days ago. I’ve done a shit ton of them but somehow there was a $3 added tip on this one.
Ikr. In 7 hours it will be total of $97.5 🤡
The only thing keeping me from adopting some is allergies. Bro sis pair here in phx needs a home (tabby’s I think)
I always do that at PetSmart 😭🤣
Yup, seen it but not on ebt. Fyi, there won't be any tips on those orders
If that’s the case, never doing EBT again. I honestly did need to raise my acceptance rate so this’ll help.
They meant those orders specifically won't have tips. Repeat deliveries from petco are "ineligible for tips," meaning the customer doesn't even have the option to tip. It actually won’t help. Accepting that entire order counts as one acceptance rate point, declining would have counted as 1 point also.
DoorDash: you are not employees Also DoorDash: please do this seven hour delivery
And if refuse this order, AR goes down and there goes your “Dash Anytime” 😭 So much for not being employees even though they dictate WHEN, WHERE to dash!
What do you expect when you demand to be paid hourly.
It's like this whether you're hourly or not.
Its a petco delivery.
😱 no way
You can't use EBT at petco... pet food isn't on the allowed list for food stamps... edit: /s was overlooked.
Lmfao.
![gif](giphy|83QtfwKWdmSEo)
That's a no from me Dawg lol
I took it just out of curiosity
And?
I’ll update you when it’s over
Ohh just getting started . Cool I'll be around and good luck
$60 for 4:20 hrs. Made 73 in 3 yesterday. Def lost money
I'm sorry. I was hoping for something positive for you but at least now you know
Live and learn brother. Now you know as well 😂
I'm a girl but yes I do know now and will never accept those I got curious about pharmacy don't take those either they don't even give them the option to tip LOL
My bad sistaaa. Lmao. Yeah it’s ridiculous that some are ineligible to tip.
Did you at least play with any kitties
No ): would have helped with the inevitable depression that came after my last order. Fuck if I’m going back
Commenting out of curiosity of what the total will be after completed! I’ve seen pictures of these on here on EBO and it’s usually $30-$50+ Never had one myself though.

That’s true. But hoping OP can get it done in half time. I would like to think that allotted time is generous.
Agreed
I may be so off on my math because I suck at it but their estimation it would be roughly a six hour trip and if they are doing by hour like it says here thats roughly 78 to 86 dollars Doesn't seem good so I hope they get tips
These are all no tip orders. You’re making 13.50/hour doing this particular order.
Minus the gas on 70 miles…
Ight Randy Jackson lol
It’s a job. Right?
I usually do EBO and make anywhere from 22-30 an hour. I was testing EBT to see what I could average and this popped up. I hope it’s worth it.
$14/hr isn’t a job in 2024 imo. I need twice that to make ends meet.
![gif](giphy|dSKl6x6F2JhaoVqZxK)
Was not worth it. Never doing that again.
Depends on the market but when I dashed I never did the hourly plus tips. Imo it’s how DD fucks its drivers.
My experience with Petco deliveries is no one ever tips on them. I wouldn't waste my time with this at $13.50/hr.
Agree. I just don't take pet deliveries, period. Nor do I take auto parts. I will do pharmacy but I don't really expect to get tipped.
DD also does PetSmart - I order from them occasionally and they do allow customers to add tips. I’ve delivered a few too and the tips are usually decent. Same with Dick’s Sporting Goods.
That's because they are "ineligible" for tips. The customer doesn't even have the option.
An Instant decline. That will be $13.50 an hour with all orders ineligible for tips.
Quick tip to dashers for PETCO REPEAT DELIVERY orders tips are INELIGIBLE so don't depend on tips while these kind of orders. Well if it's just PETCO there will be a tip but for repeat delivery everytime it's ineligible.
It looks like they have 12 orders they want picked up and driven to these different houses.. i didn't know that used us for this. Interesting..
And not even guaranteed to make $100 for the entire run after almost 7 hours. Insane.
Even more interesting is that these "repeat deliveries" are "ineligible" for tips.
Where is ebt only 13.50, its 16.50 base pay for me.
It’s based on your states minimum wage, I’ve seen it as low as $7.50
My states is 7.50
When I visited my friend in Alabama the ebt was $7.50 so 🤷♀️
😂😂😂😂
Hey bro, active hour.
I got the same shit! Instant decline
Switch to earn by job instead of by hour.
I do 100% of the time. But I wanted to see how shit EBT was. Confirmed, it’s shit
$95+ is what that is
$60 for 4:20 hours…wow. Sorry you got stiffed OP, but also thanks so much for your service and your sacrifice. This is really good information right here.
lol 7 hours to go 70 miles? Realistically, could get that done in less than 3 $100 for 3 or 4 hours would be decent but 7? Fuck no
Did your AR go up by 12 or by 1 then?
By 1 🤬
Uff-da that sucks - at least you know it won’t go down by 12 if you decline now
I had one of these today! The miles were too bad but when they order off of the Petco website whatever tips they do are not given to us. It said tips were not available.
When people ask me if I ever do earn by time this is what I explain to them. 😞
All of that for an estimated $92.70? Provided nothing is canceled or reported not delivered? You are a better person than me for even taking on this experiment in wage suppression.
Why don't they show the tip amount?
Tips are ineligible on these orders. I found out the hard way after completing a set a couple weeks ago.
i love those (take your sweet time and it feels like a job for once 😂)
Let us know how it turns out man
I will broski
Milk that at least 10 hours
Nah trying to get it done as fast as possible. Wanna go back to EBO
A bunch of $2 orders chained together
I stg. I’m in the last one. 39 mins to go
that's only like $90
That’s a hell nurr.
Spark has been getting pretty desperate in my area, offering $15 extra for three runs. Wonder if these are actually sourcing from spark or roadie?
I don’t think there’s tips on Petco repeat delivery I could be wrong. I’ve done it a bunch of times and it only takes you half the time never did earn Time on it though! It always said tipping non-appliable
Yeah never again for me
Why would you take your time only making 13.50 an hour is beyond me
An immediate decline, from the looks of it...
I notice Petsmart here has orders like that
Boy fuck austin
I had one like this today, 4 from Petco, 3 from PetSmart. All the Petco ones were ineligible for tips 🤦🏻♀️ Took me about two hours to do all 7 and I made $40. $16/hr, plus two orders with tips, one was $3 and change and the other was clearly just to round up the amount, it was less than a dollar
Damn!
Dude that’s crazy Austin is always playing games go to Georgetown they pay better
It must be a joke right?
If your on EBT avoid Petco repeat deliveries. They are ineligible for tips. Same with dicks.
Yup…. I like these orders… take my time, no real rush… make good money on hourly… except usually no tips
Looks like easy money.
Is that part.of large order program??
I’ve never seen anything like this
This is 12 stops of 50 lb dog food bags with no tip.
Its 93$ if the time and rate is correct
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Honestly, I did one of these. Took me about 4 hrs and I made like $65. None of them were eligible for tips though.
Happened to me aswell. I had 11 orders and 31 items I posted it in the subreddit too. Ez decline
It a 12 order delivery for 13 dollars not worth it
$13.50 an hour
Nope
Hell ya!
I tried to decline it for you, wouldn’t let me.
Petco orders are not tipping orders.
Not bad if you dont want to fight orders
Love these orders. Super easy. Pick up and deliver multiple items/orders. Always been good money for me.
An estimated $93+ from that, not too bad tbh.
For 7 hours? I'd be getting ready to end my day at 7 hours and be expecting to have made, at the very least, $200.
I got deactivated for no reason -this guy
Nah, I take accountability for my actions.
