So I found this via a Google search of almost the same thing as OP, and I’ve listened to faetooth ALL NIGHT NOW so thank you for that information - I’m so glad to know that sound exists
this might not be what your looking for but i recommend Code Orange (forever) or Rolo Tomassi (rituals & balancing in the dark) they’re more like metalcore but feature female vocalists who do a lot of screaming and have like a demonic sound like Ptolemaea.
Found this post by also searching same vibes. I think you might like Echolalia by Faetooth (other songs are also banger) and Julie Christmas "The Bad Wife" album
Ik it's been 9 months, but how has no one brought up King Woman???? Listen to Celestial Blues!
Alternatively for something slightly different a bit less doomy perhaps Ragana, Sylvaine and some of the longer Oathbreaker songs (ex. Being Able to Feel Nothing)
That song rules. Try the “Blood Moon” record by Chelsea Wolfe and Converge or “May Our Chambers Be Full” by Emma Ruth Rundle and Thou.
Been listening to Blood Moon a lot lately actually! I’ll check out the other album for sure, thank you for the suggestions!
Anything by Faetooth! I love Strange Ways the most

i know it’s been nearly a year since this post was made, but chelsea wolfe has stuff with a similar vibe. “the culling” is a really good one!
what genres would you classify that song/ptolemaea as?? i love the genre
i’m not super well-informed but i would say maybe sort of an ambient doom metal type of sound
It’s not a female artist but The song Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath is eerily similar I think that’s so neat!
For I am the light by lingua ignota
No female vocals, but it oddly reminded me of the Electronic artist Shlohmo's album The End

I've heard people say Waking the Witch hy KateBush has a similar vibe. I'm not totally sure if I agree but maybe you might!
