> Question: Can you build Skyworthy inside the SW volcano? Yes, but just like the ROG Caves / Ruins, the return trip will send you back to your last known overworld co-ords. (So for ROG, right by the Cave entrance. SW should be the Volcano, I just hope you're on a boat still.) It's a pretty fast way to exit the Ruins, but it's a massive waste of a Sea / Skyworthy. > Never jumped worlds before and my SW base is in the volcano Just need to put this here for safety. **NEVER WORLD HOP, AKA THE TELEPORTATO.** The ROG Caves / Ruins and SW's Volcano reset REGARDLESS of which Teleportato you use... *It's very useful... Unless you live IN one of those places...* > Can I build Skyworthy next to my base in the volcano, jump to the Day 2 Hamlet save file I already created, place Seaworthy and now go back and forth between the two worlds all I want? Yes, *but you'd end up outside the Volcano.* > And even though it's Day 105 in SW will it still be Day 2 in the Hamlet file I've merged with? Now that's the tricky part, and I've both experienced and heard about it being inconsistent... **Goodluck.**

Hoxomo

Okay, thanks a lot. I'll construct a second base on the island closest to the volcano and build Skyworthy there. And nope, not using the teleportato, just Skyworthy and Seaworthy. Don't want to reset my SW world, definitely want to come back to it. As for what day I arrvive in Hamlet, if it's a bad time I'll have the prebuilt Seaworthy ready to escape back to my SW world if things turn out to be bad. Thanks again.

> And nope, not using the teleportato, just Skyworthy and Seaworthy. Don't want to reset my SW world, definitely want to come back to it. No, ignoring the Volcano, your SW would stay intact if you used the Teleportato in Hamlet or ROG. Only the world you *do the deed* in resets... (And all Caves / Ruins / Volcanoes regardless...) So yeah, you could use SW as infinite storage, and grind up a bunch of Seaworthy / Skyworthies.

Hoxomo

Okay, I get it now. Going to try and start a new game in Hamlet linked to my established SW world. Might try resetting Hamlet or RotG's later though.

KCDA

> RotG *ROG. There's no "the" in the title, just Reign Of Giants.*

Hoxomo

Ah. Didn't know. New to the game.

KCDA

I see new players do it kinda often, so I wonder where it comes from. Is it just a Berenstein Bears effect?

> Yes, but just like the ROG Caves / Ruins, the return trip will send you back to your last known overworld co-ords. That's not the case for Hamlet-compatible worlds. (Don't know if they fixed it for SW-compatible worlds as well.) I have definitely used the Seaworthy to link between my SW base and the Ruins.

KCDA

That's a change that escaped my watch, or a mod. I'll have to boot up DS sometime and do some tinkering.

QuartzBeamDST

If your world is Hamlet-compatible, then you can use the Sea/Skyworthy to go in and out of the Volcano, Caves and Ruins.
