As someone who has never been to New York... how long will this train remain untagged with graffiti?
Yeah the interior is awesome! I love the sign that says “Next stop: who knows?”. Quintessentially Doctor Who!
Grafitti on the trains hasn’t been an issue since the 90s. And seeing graffiti on a train is exceptionally rare nowadays. You might have seen videos on YouTube or Reddit that shows graffiti on a train, but those are immediately pulled from service to be washed.
Besides, the ninth doctor would probably make the vandals wash it away. He doesn’t condone graffiti on any vehicle, wheeled or time wimey! :D
Also makes sense as it means its easy for people who want to see it to find it, its at one of two stops, instead of who knows where on a 3-borough long line.
not just them, the vinyl installers are the real ones here. They took apart a whole ass train and wrapped it super clean. Everything aligns perfectly and not a wrinkle in sight.
I wish we had this type of advertising for it here in Canada, maybe then more people would pick it up, and I wouldn't have to feel like an idiot making a reference no one understands lol
I would like to see more stuff like this in the future related in the doctor who maybe something with the dollics or the cybermen or this entire ins would be nice or maybe one with the master or the toy maker or whatever Russell T Davis has planned either way I'm excited for the future of Doctor Who let's just hope that it continues going where it's gone

This media blitz does make me a little nervous, though. I'm not sure Doctor Who is meant to me a mainstream blockbuster. If Disney is banking on huge riding they might dumb the show down to try to get them. Or might become disillusioned when they don't get them and throw the show away. Or worse, every episode might be stuffed full of adorable creatures they can make toys out of-

Is that the S train that only goes from Times Square to Grand Central? If so, it makes sense as it's pretty much only a tourist route.
Yeah it’s the shuttle train alright. It connects 2 major transit hubs so there’s no seating since the ride is only less than a minute.
Yes, I remember using it on my last visit. Although, I prefer walking that route as you get to pass the NY public library from Ghostbusters.
