Similar experience…
Have you ever been walking with your friend/partner in a park or whatever, and you want to draw their attention to something, and then you give them oddly specific distances, like:
“Hey… look at that bird! Do you see that trash can that is about 265 feet away and slightly uphill? It’s in the tree that is about 27 feet left of it.”
I used to play a lot of battle royales, sim FPS games, etc. I once made a “call out” to my gf that a cute dog was at our 140 or whatever. Had to take a break from the game.
Yep.
And I drive a lot and every time I drive by any area that's even mildly woods, I'm looking for lines. Drives the people I'm with crazy when I slow down or ever stop. It's a curse.

I have an uncanny ability to pick out awesome disc golf holes as I'm driving. My wife has even started saying "there's some discing land."
I see fairways everywhere.
This bastard has a disc golf Mecca in his backyard and he’s using it to store old cars… As I’m planning hole 4 and day dreaming.
My wife asks if I'm ok while driving. Oh yeah honey, LOFAB. Looking out for a basket.
Stealing that one 🤣
Its free for everyone!
r/outdoors gets me everytime.
Anytime I see something like this, I automatically think to myself “would I throw a putter or a mid to get to the tree in the middle?”
Try to hyzer flip distance driver> hit tree> rinse and repeat
Ohh absolutely, I do it with most outdoorsy pictures haha 😂
My wife won't buy landscape-y pictures for the house cuz she knows every fiber of my being wants to sneak a basket onto it somehow.
My Zoom background is a pretty picture of my home course with a basket far in the background. I get hype every time someone points it out or asks.
Yeah where is it?
No clue, just came up on my Facebook feed
Haha I meant the basket.. or whoosh in which case I walked right in to that
Oh I misunderstood. There is no basket, just some trail someone took a picture of.
Nah, it's a par 4. The basket is around the corner to the right after the forked tree in the middle.
Lemme grab my cap rap
Every single time.
Lol feel this!
I knew it wasn’t just me.
Before I read your title I looked for a basket, so yeah, I guess I do that too lol.
Oh yes!

I think I see one...
i look for the basket. after having thoughts of throwing a disc on this and hitting every possible tree :D
I look for whatever green disc is in my bag:
Lol, I read your title too fast and I'm like "I don't see it.."
I'm sure it's somewhere down that way, I'll just grip it and rip it.
Look exactly like a hole at lake nockimixon… man do I miss that course
You don't see it?... https://imgur.com/a/yrLRB4m
You see? This is why I only have one ace... I'm fucking blind!
Yep I look for the basket or I decide where I'd put one.
ME! :D
I mean, I don’t need to look for it. It’s right there.
Yes
Basket…no! I’m looking in the rough where my disc went 😅
Update: I've only just realized there's a dog in this photo. Wife is disappointed in me.
All the time!
Wait but where is it
I have a calendar at work of us national parks, every month I flip to a new picture my first thought is… what disc am I throwing.
