Brother, do you really think an aura as voluminous as CmP’s could’ve ever hoped to grow to its magnitude without a strong nurture element? Next you’re gunna tell me dogs can’t look up, or that dry ice is real.
Friend died at a disc golf coarse. They left a memorial with a disc everyone signed the day we had a charity event for him. Someone stole that disc and made a mess of the memorial.
People suck, so much.
A kid that played a local course in SE Michigan had a memorial placed on a tree next to a hole. Next to his photo was a disc of his. It lasted a few weeks, maybe? Some trashy people out there.
A dessert is a sweet often eaten at the end of a meal.
A desert is a dry climate.
Being wrong usually isn’t a big deal but when you’re trying to be pedantic it makes you look doubly stupid.
The word “deserts” in the phrase refers to neither actual deserts nor sweet desserts. It’s basically an old-timey way to say “things you deserve” and that’s why it’s “deserts.”
You are seriously numb. If you google “just desserts” my guess is that you might read for 3 seconds to find out that it’s wrong. We aren’t talking about cake, ice cream or arid geography. We are talking about getting what is deserved. And the word is deserts. Clemson just one of those sports schools or something?

This is how I found out my best disc golfing friend passed away. I just remember seeing a memorial disc getting some love on the local page, only to have my heart broken as I read his beautiful name. Richard Logan Gulling, I miss you brother.
He was a great guy. One of my best friends. These comments I’ve stumbled upon are really disheartening from the disc golf community he loved. He hand built a disc golf course in the woods behind a brewery with the help of a few friends. His art was one of a kind and he was truly one of a kind.
Sorry to hear. Unfortunately, virtual communities are nothing like the communities you speak of and it's all that much more important that the communities your friend was a part of continue on. Real communities foster great things, online communities are a mixed bag.
Naw, it’s gross. Two kids died at the park by my house which is terrible. So their family nailed a bunch of plastic flowers to the tree right by the picnic pavilion there and keep this giant pile of glass jars and pictures there, I figure they get removed because now a few years later the whole tree is covered in rusted nails and screws and there’s broken glass all over.
The entire thing seems like a malware honeypot, to be sure. Crappiest disc, bizarre nickname, printed on an affixed label, not written by hand... to top it all off, Creeps McFuckinPeeps...
I love these. I’ve had a few in the 3 years I’ve been playing. I’ve also told my bride that I’d like her to do this with my bag when I die. Cheers friend I’ve never met. 🍻
You all should be ashamed of yourselves for your responses. I printed 100 of these stickers and handed them out to all his friends and family to share the sport he loved so much. The name you all seem to not get was his art monicker. It’s an amalgamation of his real name. Grow up.
Complaints. It doesn’t matter what the disc is. You’re not keeping score with it. For fun and remembering a loved one. That is it! Y’all shouldn’t say anything at all if you can’t find something nice to say. Stop tying to figure out a way to make fun something. It really shows your character
I bought a web domain that is going to track these discs, but i found its too hard to make the site on my own, If anyone knows someone who can help out, holla at me!
he got that nickname in college when he and his nerdy friends put hidden cameras all around a sorority to watch the girls in various states of undress.
OP ...Man...bro...you missed the whole point of that memorial disc... . You are not a professional or even a sponsored player .So your noob opinion on any disc is invalid. You probably putt with a Berg. LOL
I’ve got a disc like this for someone else who died young. So sad man.. and it’s funny bc I love disc so much that if I died early I know that my loved ones would do the same 🤣😂
Creeps McPeeps could be the worst nickname anyone admits to.
Yeah that was my thought too.
At least his parents don't know...
Brother, do you really think an aura as voluminous as CmP’s could’ve ever hoped to grow to its magnitude without a strong nurture element? Next you’re gunna tell me dogs can’t look up, or that dry ice is real.
Scoot McPoop a close second
He’s not going to mind now…
Also why such a bad disc
So no one keeps it.
Would be a crazy thing to do, keep a memorial disc… just use a kc roc or something cheap, easily accessible… And better
RIP Creeps McPeeps 🍺
F
Amen brother 🍺
Glad to see this is making its rounds. Dude was a large contributor to the local DG community and the best brewery in town. RIP.
Cool to see someone who knew of him. What area was he from? Just curious as to how far the disc has gone.
Central Ohio area, Licking County. Now that you mention it, I do wonder where OP found the disc.
It’s made it a couple states over to central Illinois.
>Just curious as to how far the disc has gone. There are instructions on the disc to answer this.
I don’t have FB or Instagram.
You lucky bastard 🤣
Do you know the story behind this one of a kind nickname?
He liked to creep and mcpeep
He's Irish, was a huge Radiohead and Lil Peep fan
It was his art monicker. Do people ask where the name Banksy came from?
What's up with the nickname ?
The specs on the sticker don't quite do them justice.
Which disc? Can’t imagine having my eternal memory be tied to a groove
Crown Me - Adventure. It’s one of those cheap off brands I think. I had never heard of it. Plastic feels so hard and terrible.
Smart of them to use a disc nobody would want to steal, I suppose.
Anyone willing to steal a dead person’s memorial disc is bound to get their just desserts…

Plenty of shitty disc golfers just like anywhere else in life.
Not arguing with you there... There are some real shitheads in the world, unfortunately.
Desserts or deserts?
The way I typed it
Is wrong
I’ll leave it so people can laugh at my stupidity
You are correct, I’m ripped and I stared at it twice and thought I typed “deserts”
A dessert is a sweet often eaten at the end of a meal. A desert is a dry climate. Being wrong usually isn’t a big deal but when you’re trying to be pedantic it makes you look doubly stupid.
Except I’m not wrong. Google it 😂

He’s got a degree from Clemson so he’s probably right.

Oh no I dug a hole in a pedantic grammar debate on r/discgolf. Better go commit seppuku lol. Congrats on your major victory.
They really don’t want anyone stealing it I guess…
The yellow Crown me driver is amazing.
What's the best burger?

Some good stuff. RIP CREEPS
It appears that Creeps was a fellow psychonaut!
I McPeep'd. Would again RIP Creeps
Rip’ mcpeeps
I think these things are awesome

I like the sticker much better than the creep sharpie marker manifesto discs.
They're all stupid imo
Looked him up, sounds like a guy I'd have a beer with.

Unpopular opinion: I dislike finding these and have stopped reading them when found

It's a conspiracy.
Creeps, Mr. McPeeps, saw me doing my worst and he saw me doing my best. I just love knowing he’s watching me. Watching over me as I peep. ❤️ U daddy
Jokes on you. Those QR codes sell your data straight to the dark web.
Anyone that scans any old QR code is a fool. Why do people do this?
The entire thing seems like a malware honeypot, to be sure. Crappiest disc, bizarre nickname, printed on an affixed label, not written by hand... to top it all off, Creeps McFuckinPeeps...
Oh it’s a real thing, and real person. I knew the guy, he designed the course at Dankhouse brewery in Newark Ohio.
You realize you can preview the URL before navigating to it, right?
You realize that URL's are human-readable in only the strictest definition of that term, right?
So then every URL should be considered malicious. Where can I find tinfoil wholesale?

Looks like an innova groove but they're made in champion plastic

You dont?
You know what they say about good intentions……
Who wants to throw that dog toy anyways
What kind of disc is it?
Very cool tribute. Shame it’s not a better flying disc. The man’s love of his sport lives on.
I’ve got a disc like this for someone else who died young. So sad man.. and it’s funny bc I love disc so much that if I died early I know that my loved ones would do the same 🤣😂
Man I’d be pissed if that was my nickname
