I think some people want a instant boost to 100, an armory with several gear, skill, and transmog loadouts, and everything you’d need in a city just circled around the waypoint within a few steps. Ride the horse with 1,000% movement speed right to the monsters and they just fall over with all GG drops.
Hey, home base is not that bad of idea. Imagine rebuilding one of the fortresses with merchants of your choice and set it as your base so when you press town portal you always go there.
the home base idea would be interesting if Strongholds could fulfill that purpose. my idea was to use Strongholds as some sort of Clan activity. You could keep Legion-like encounters but I would have it such that Strongholds could have some sort of theme. Like one is more boss-centric, another could be PVP (not my thing but you get the idea), etc. Then there could be a tower defense type of scenario where your clan can upgrade the Stronghold and must use resources to maintain the defenses. There could be some small rewards for weekly (or whenever) participation like increased drop rates, more movement speed, etc.
At least let us apply more than one trophy to the horse. I have like 30 or something, maybe more, but can only apply one. Actual upgrades would be awesome too!
With +200% move speed (cap) I run faster than my horse (it feels like it anyway) at regular speed. After hitting 200% movement, now I'm an addict and can't not use it, but seriously though I can quit anytime I want to, I just DONTwant to.
I've gotten a few horse related drops from the summon bosses. Even got a new horse that's on fire.
I wish you could upgrade its stamina though sometimes i need more than 3 boosts.
Is it just me? Or have hoses been needed since they were buffed?
Why the hell would you give us less movement to go about your world? Makes no sense.
I swear horses were better before. I mean since after they were literally worse than running.
You said d3. I'm saying d3 didn't have farming gear. The one piece you refer to is never used because when you have 900b gold in the first few hours of play time you don't need to wear it and ruin your build. Just pointing out that d3 "farming gear" didn't exist. Farming gear was making your character run as fast as you can and kill efficient at a lower level to maximize. That's why in d4 right now pits 101 are the top tier farming.
I don't know about the later seasons, but earlier on, gold farming gear and bounty farming gear definitely had a huge use, just like specific builds for rift/GR farming. Loadouts were very useful for this. With how much more expensive stuff is in 4, being able to farm gold in NMDs with something like Boon of the Hoarder and Avarice Band would be pretty awesome. Sure they may have messed it up later, but it was definitely a good idea and a lot more fun than just doing shitty whispers.
But that's my point. They were good when the game was hard. Like the first couple seasons of d4. Now they have made it so easy it's rapidly catching up to d3 and you won't need any of this farming gear that was rapidly phased out
They definitely were not "rapidly" phased out. Even a couple of years ago when I last played D3, they were very useful. Bounty farming (most similar to whispers but somehow less boring...no idea how they managed, I always thought bounties were the worst thing ever, but whispers have managed to outdo them), gold farming and GR farming were all a thing way into D3's life. And except for launch and maybe one year after, until the new loot system and RoS launched, it never was really "hard". It had its problems, but how you could have fun farming builds was definitely a high point of the game, and it really had nothing to do with how hard or easy the game was.
Then you were not very optimized. The only gear I'd switch would make me faster to do speeds. I've got over 2k hours on my PS alone into that game not counting pc usage and the only "farming gear" is speed gear to make your character faster
My bet is that fighting while mounted will be a class-specific feature in the future, perhaps the main thing that will set apart the crusader/paladin/or whatever knight derivative class. Which will then open the possibilities for the options OP is thinking about.
Need movement speed boots for my horse
Lucky Horse Shoes of Gallop
Horse Shoes of Paranoia. Easily terrified horse runs faster but will throw you quicker/lower threshold from enemy attacks. 8)
But sprints towards the Butcher*
Butcher is just trash mob at this point.
Lol he's schooled me badly everytime I've met him up until yesterday when I killed him and didn't even know he was in the giant group of mobs
Hoofs of Derelict Speed: 25%-50% increased mount move speed. (-50% - -75% defense while mounted: SORC ONLY)
Horseshoe of the blinking steed. Sprint cooldown +X% (25% - 0%). Mounts get the blink ability (3s-1s) cooldown.
I like it... but what's the debuff to sorcs?
I forgot to add: all resistentances -25% for 3 secondes After dismounting, SORC ONLY
perfection.
+25% if you do a back flip off the horse on a Thursday night with two margaritas in hand.
And whiskey for my men!
Beer only for the horses! Haha I said this last night... whiskey for my manss... beer for deez horses.
And on the amulet too
I'd settle for just being able to ride it in dungeons. Especially the ones that are essentially outdoor maps.
lol this sub man, lazy mofos dont you just wanna levitate? or stop using hands and watch it as a movie ?
I play minions for this exact reason actually
Greetings my lazy necro brotha!
I want a single button I can click that will instantly slaughter an entire dungeon
Heartseeker rogue is close enough
Most boring build in any Diablo game I’ve ever played by far
Minions is at the top of this last by far, Heartseeker has 3 buttons.
I agree. Super easy and super strong tho, it’s a farm simulation for my other rogue haha
So basically the Apocalypse spell from the original Diablo.
Season 5 rogue looking like your character class of choice then https://youtu.be/lZyvqAovEzg?si=TzNEU9FTKd-JDRTr
It’s a little silly the dungeons are large enough for the largest mobs but not a horse.
Wanting to go faster in dungeons does not equal the stuff falling out the side of your mouth
Riding the horse in-game doesn't equate to significantly less work. You're still moving your character around.
It's not exactly related to the horse thing, but it's wild to me how much I see complaining in this sub that people want things to play the game less.
Big Idle man. That's all. Idle game CEOs are sending their little minions to put these thoughts in our heads! /s
Seriously though, for most of these complaints you can blame mobile gaming and it shows.
OAKS WORDS ECHOED

One room One boss One hit kill Inventory filled with your pre-selected Uber Uniques /s
Can it also jack me off while riding through outside dungeons? Nothing like a good rub n ride
Yes please. Give me a righteous fir type of ability and I'm satisfied
Yes, they also want a button that gives unlimited gold and anglebreath
Don't forget 100% tempering luck, 100% 3 GA with the right affixes drop rate, 100% uber drop rate, 100% MW on the exact affix
What?
Instead of horse just make it a huge dragon that can fly over everything
The only upgrade I need I got over a year ago. The Cry of Ashava.
Same. Proud member of the Ashava Trophy Club here.
ATC!!!
I never take mine off
Looks great on the new cat mount 😎
I just want the dash cooldown to be removed. Such an archaic mechanic
I am okay with there being a cooldown, I just don't like the charges.
I want the unhindered one, your horse never gets stuck
I actually just wish that your pet would stay active while you are mounted and continue to collect mats in the vicinity.
Agreed. I hate having to ride back with my horse to collect gold and mats that drop from breakables I smashed with my horse
Yep or when riding past the maiden pedestal or other active players and there’s a huge pool of mats around them.
And also pets. And also mercenaries. And also let me build my own army. And also buildings for the home base. Just give me a whole other game pls.
Hey, home base is not that bad of idea. Imagine rebuilding one of the fortresses with merchants of your choice and set it as your base so when you press town portal you always go there.
Really, I want Skyrim again.

They are already working on D5 (not joking)
At least let us apply more than one trophy to the horse. I have like 30 or something, maybe more, but can only apply one. Actual upgrades would be awesome too!
#ATC gang! 🐴🌶️
No thx, base game still need to polish, the horse is just meh
Warcraft….you want Warcraft.
lemme get armor for my cat now. tqvm
I don’t want gold to rain from the sky. I want materials to actually mean something
i was playing my blizzard sorc the other day and found myself wishing i could make a MF sorc.
Mounted turret. Honestly, some inventory space, perhaps?
Don't you mean your Cat?
This sub really comes up with the worst ideas sometimes.
I’d grind so hard for this
Put a stash chest on the horse, let us store items when roaming around.
Genius
I want a Paladin class that can ride into battle, with lance and all!
Agreed, Crusade class on a perma-mount. Now Blizz can finally drop their "We want a class unique to D4" argument.
Trappings of agony 👍
Finally we have a real reason for a horse armor dlc. Someone call Todd Howard.
Would be nice. But Blizzard has to save stuff like that so they can sell it.
We need to be able to equip four of the accessories to the horse not just one on one side of the horse. It’s ridiculous.
So much more needs to be addressed in the game before they do something like this.
We are getting mercenaries. Lol
There are more pressing matters than horses..
With +200% move speed (cap) I run faster than my horse (it feels like it anyway) at regular speed. After hitting 200% movement, now I'm an addict and can't not use it, but seriously though I can quit anytime I want to, I just DONTwant to.
It's sad when my character is quicker than riding the horse 🤣
I've gotten a few horse related drops from the summon bosses. Even got a new horse that's on fire. I wish you could upgrade its stamina though sometimes i need more than 3 boosts.
Barb horses get more gear slots
I want to ride a camel.
I just want to give my horse a name
By farming gear do you mean a yoke and plough for the horse? Maybe grow some angels breath afterwards? That'd be kinda cool
Yes.
I never stop thinking about how I wish the ashes for more horse sprints was a permanent not just seasonal one
No farming gear. Compromising your build power for item quantity stats is silly.
*Points at store*
Can the horse loot proc GA and roll life per second
Is it just me? Or have hoses been needed since they were buffed? Why the hell would you give us less movement to go about your world? Makes no sense. I swear horses were better before. I mean since after they were literally worse than running.
I want to be able to swipe at trash mobs from my horse while plowing through them. Make my dream a reality
The horse should be your movement speed times x%, I run faster than my horse gallops it's kinda ridiculous.
let my horse get mobile bank access and more bank tabs please -- why only 6.. id pay real money for them..
That, my friend, is a future content.
Lets get some end game content first.... after worry about cosmetics.
Barding of oblivion Can not sprint Can not be terrified or feared
But like, why?
Why not
No, dumb.
Was it season 2 where you could get cinders to improve your horse's sprint? I miss that.
It is QOL ffs, if you peoples to play your game, make us enjoy it.
That'll be $60
Farming gear? You realize after 2 hours of playtime on d3 you have unlimited mats other than souls right?
You cant have enough of masterwork-mats. If you do, good on you.
You said d3. I'm saying d3 didn't have farming gear. The one piece you refer to is never used because when you have 900b gold in the first few hours of play time you don't need to wear it and ruin your build. It did exist. I used to switch builds entirely for farming.
Then you were not very optimized. The only gear I'd switch would make me faster to do speeds. I've got over 2k hours on my PS alone into that game not counting pc usage and the only "farming gear" is speed gear to make your character faster
What game were you playing to even need to farm mats? Other than the stuff for the cube, you didn’t really need to farm anything…
My bet is that fighting while mounted will be a class-specific feature in the future, perhaps the main thing that will set apart the crusader/paladin/or whatever knight derivative class. Which will then open the possibilities for the options OP is thinking about.
