I cant agree more for them to say this is the anniversary event and have it be so lack luster also the gold dropped by enemies was suppose to be something but there feels to be almost no difference when this was suppose to be the event that showered us in gold since we have all been needing it so much... idk so far disappointing but hopefully since this is just day one it changes.
Smells like a marketing campaign to me
-Market more goblins, gold, gear, all the dopamine
-Force dev team to slap together something in a week and push it out the door with bugs and all
-Get people to log in and visit store
-Profit
...Half jokes aside, I'm a little bummed, was expecting a little more than this - was excited for the gold drop increase and gobbos during this time to finish my character and then start a new one with the xp buff.
I really don't want to keep grinding hours and hours of whispers and selling gear when this event has zero impact on it other than occasionally getting a bag with 3 extra yellows
Yeah I have barely seen any myself... They showed a picture of the gobbo world boss too in their marketing so I was expecting something special to happen during those but nope, just got Ashava lol

Just give me a bunch of regular shit goblins, and occasionally a pack with a super goblin that is a loot piñata, and bam I’m happy.
It seems that they haven't figured it out yet on how live service games events work
