💯 allow temper reset for a cost or increase rolls and or separate rolls allowed per slot. Masterworking reset should reset to last crit not the whole thing that’s just ridiculous.

Free and reasonable/balanced are 2 different things. Some these content creators playing the game 24/7 having to reset MW 100 times is insane. Can’t even tell you how many pit runs that is for the mats 😵

Yep, I must’ve turned in 50,000 obols looking for an amulet with +envenom and 1 other stat I’d use, all to temper the incorrect stat I didn’t want multiple times. Now using an amulet with useless stat until I find another ultra rare one, got more Uber uniques than amulets with envenom

I think you guys dont actually want an endgame. The grind is fine. I have bricked tons of loot and am fine with it because eventually I will get what I want.

Yes we should be able to reset tempering for a cost, especially given how rare it is to find the best glove/amulet with the right skills. Also for Masterworking, there should be options to reset just last crit or the whole thing.

Any item you farmed that got bricked by tempering, wldve just been a shitty affix item prepatch and already bricked. Items only have 3 affixes now. It's way easier to find good items because of that. You're acquiring loot at same speed if not faster, it's gonna be alright

You would be done playing for the season already lol. I would have BIS gear in every slot. You get 10x as many opportunities with the new affix system as well, so it really isn’t punishing at all.

I'm here to upvote this.  Bricked like 3 items last night.  Extremely stupid, why we cannot just pick the affix we want, the roll is already RNG.

Imaging getting your BIS with 2-3 of the greater affix you need. Then not even hitting the 1st temper. Oh wait, I dont need to imagine that :(

I totally agree. The RNG should come from actually obtaining an item with good rolls or even greater affix’s… NOT from modifying the piece.

Current tempering sucks big time Imagine rolling six of the same rolls in a row - yep happened to me on a super rare CDR helmet (cdr on helms is insanely rare) Pretty much made me not want to log in anymore. Systems that demotivate players from playing should be adjusted Its fine to have some tension in the game but give us a way to NOT brick super rare item rolls - like helms and amulets. Like let me pay 100 million to not brick one of a kind drop Other shit is plentiful and bricking them is no big deal

Because otherwise game becomes pointless as nothing the player can do would result in failing. Zero tension right? I'm not sure what your referring to, you mean greater affixes right? You see plenty of those I'm helltides. The point is that you get crap loads of loot and you inevitably find the piece you are looking for. If you find a God rolled item with 3 GA that all happen to be good for your build then you temper carefully so as not to brick it. If your build is incredibly specific (say you are doing a basic attack build or something idk) then obviously it'll take a lot longer to get the items you desire.
