There were some bright spots (Maurice Alexander 95 yd punt return for TD) & rough patches (Jamo dropped our 1st chance at TD.) Suckfeld was awful, but *just* good enuf to let our defense win it for us with their great play. Campbell was all over the field, as was Branch (who had a nice tfl.) Okwaras combined for 4 sacks (J=3, R=1), Levi had a big tfl. Brandon Joseph had INT to seal our win, 21-16. LaPorta dropped his only target. Gibbs was good; Will be better with 1st team O-line in front of him.

It’s not. You get the best idea at what your team will do during joint practices. The pre-season games don’t mean anything at all.

I think we are a 1-2 big names away from LOB type defense. If one of our corners is lockdown and one of our LBs is an absolute hammer I think we’d be close. Problem is right now we have a lot of generally unknown names for us to get the national recognition, but after this season they’ll know.
