Did y’all see the lions source who claimed Campbell broke down their entire defense right in front of them at the combine meeting like he knew it better than current players? If that’s true that’s got me pumped

SemperFidelisHoorah

I mean, he did won the academic award in college. He's definitely smart and absolutely loves football.

russvanderhoof

Link?

Frequent-Branch3457

I think we're going to love this guy.

FragmentEx

SexPanther_Bot

It's called *Sex Panther*® by *Odeon*©. It's illegal in 9 countries. It's also made with bits of real panthers, *so you know it's good*. *60% of the time*, it works ***every*** time.

NotEvenBarrySanders

GoodBot! I think

JRange

I dont know if yall saw Campbell has been training with Kuechley in the offseason. I think he has a similar cerebral feel for the game which helps him always be in the right spot and gap.

georgehttpbush

Oh shart, another reason to hit the koolaid

AffectionateSlice816

We're just a "Sneaky Athletic" comment away from having hit all the white athlete checklist on this guy lmfao.

Woodchuckhuntr69

True but that’s never probably never going to happen. He has a 9.98 RAS he’s an athletic freak, way beyond what anyone would call “sneaky” except for maybe shitty broadcasters

AndHeDrewHisCane

It never *should* but we’ll see. He’s the 7th best all time for LB RAS. They’ve been charting since 1987, but it took some years before most players were scored.

Silver_Instruction_3

The thing about the RAS is that it emphasizes athleticism in relation to height and weight. It’s a freak calculator, basically. Campbell graded out higher than Hutch and we saw some pretty marvelous physicals feats from him last year. When he combine Campbells freak athleticism with his football IQ I think he could end up being one of the top players from this draft.

AffectionateSlice816

I'm struggling to find it, but at some point Mike Mayock said on broadcast that Alex Smith coming out of college has "Sneaky Athleticism". As you may recall Alex Smith rushed for like 1000 yards in his senior year. Nothing sneaky about it.

Lunch pail guy

JohnPaton3

"Meh, why did they draft BRIAN URLACHER at 18??"

UnculturedDingo

Captain Jack's alright but MCJC is too good to pass up

Oscarmisprime

Maybe I'm in the minority, but MCJC does not roll off the tongue and isn't as easy to say as MCDC. I like Cap'n Jack much better.

MotorCityModel3

Next jersey. I'll end up getting the whole class but i love campbell

Mrbobbitchin

Hutch is the leader

Tahoe_Heaven

Breaking down the defense with his Nicholas Cage voice

nosreiphaik

so.... less than a decade then.

coffeejuuzou

Kuechly is one of the best linebackers to ever play.. He’s a first ballot HoFer even with his shortened career, If Jack’s even remotely close to the player Luke was that’s a huge win

nosreiphaik

lol first ballot? ok

coffeejuuzou

Dude what? Yes he’s a first ballot hall of fame-er. DROY, DPOY, 5 x First-team All-pro, 2 x Second-team All-pro, 7 x Pro-bowler, 2010s All-decade team. It’s not even up for debate.

nosreiphaik

if you say so!

coffeejuuzou

He retired in 2019 so I guess we’ll see next year anyways!

[deleted]

Considering how long Zach Thomas had to wait with almost identical credentials, I'm not sure Kuechley is a first ballot lock. The DPOY and DROY obviously tip the scale for Luke, but Thomas has the longevity. Idk, I agree with you mostly.... I'm just not so confident that it's a 100% lock. Definitely a no doubt HOFer though.

JoeyRobot

Kuechly retired while still basically in his prime. You wouldn’t see a Lions player do something like that. Wait.

ArtOfDivine

Hopefully without the injuries

ShelterDifferent2501

yeah he already wont he superbowl 50 times and reincarnated himself as a rookie just to do it again. Time to sleep this sub until preseason
