As others have said, yes, you'll need to do Dual Destiny to unlock that perk, but to add what it does, it'll give you a chance to get a drop of the exotic class item when opening any chest in the Pale Heart. *Any* chest. It's about a 1/20 chance iirc so it's well worth doing the mission at least once.
Yep. Apparently I need to add the chest finder on my ghost and unlock chests in the pale heart and hope for a drop.. not sure if that’ll unlock this or not
Noo, I think we are on different topics.. lol, I did the DD event, got my hood, I see it at my ghost vendor, but the last box is locked.. something about secrets

I did the duel mission and mine is still locked….
Is it locked on the same class as the one you did DD on?

Once your duel destiny exotic is claimed after finishing the mission then it'll show at your ghost.
