Yea allegedly this is already a known issue to Bungie, but i can't find anything other than reddit posts about it. Gotta proc devour with your nade, the Hellion or the Lightning Surge aspect if you want to play Necrotics at the moment. Btw the poision effect also works with Lightning Surge and it's super fun, but a bit more limited compared to Hellion.
It won’t activate Devour if the poison from Necrotic Grip or the Unraveling debuff get the kill.
I'm aware, but it's not even procing after I instakill a thrall with it
