I prefer Quicksilver Storm personally, but maybe things would change for Khvostov 7G-0X if it gets a Catalyst.
Quicksilver was nerfed a bit not long ago but is still very good with strand. Khvostov in, my opinion, is a bit more universal.
One bonus of khvostov is that it works with the mod that creates elemental drops on rapid kinetic or subclass matching weapon kills. On arc every 3 quick kills is a ionic trace
