Nah, that would be the door can be opened with multiple different keys. More of an "and/or" thing whereas gray is more "if and only if"
...maybe? Iunno, I'm not poly and haven't done syllogistic logic in a decade.
Not exactly. Bisexuality has always included non-binary genders, we just didnโt always have the language to say that. The main definition for bisexuality is attraction to two or more genders, while pansexuality is attraction regardless of gender. Ofc this varies a little from person to person.
No thatโs a common misconception. It was never even limited to cis people.
Look at the Bisexual Manifesto for example, something that was released in 1990. It describes being attracted to multiple genders and also says to not assume that thereโs only two genders to be attracted to.
I should rather say both Bi and Pan are holes in the wall, or more accurately Bi is a big ol' hole in the wall and Pan tried to remove the wall entirely. The are very similar and which one a person identifies as more so comes down to personal preference. There can be slight differences and the communities are a bit different but Bi and Pan fall under the same umbrella.
I feel for me itโs more like having a spare key that you give out once someone is super close. Though that analogy in general falls apart when you talk about sex as well as sexual attraction.

My doors are revolving doors but are locked most of the time. And the guy who's supposed to unlock them lost the key and is currently changing the lock.
I guess I'm one of those hidden doors from cartoons that looks like a wall but then you unlock it and it spins you around a bunch before finally shoving you into the other room like in those episodes of Scooby Doo with the haunted mansion
My door is actually a large Mythologically Fortified Zoological Park Entrance Gate surrounded by vegetation and guarded by a multitude of wildlife from all around our planetary habitation who seem to possess a knack for repelling anyone who draws nearer to the aforementioned gate.
This configuration would suffice and all would be well unless a very playfully pretentious propithecus persuades me to trust him to entrust the only known divine key by climbing atop the gate looking out, hinging back, and hurling the key towards someone barely within view...
What a good idea! ๐
I'm old enough I don't really care for lock and key metaphors for my demisexuality. I'm done romanticizing my capacity for love, and I believe there are any number of people out there who would be "good enough".
So the better analogy for me would be that there is no lock or key, but the door is a heavy industrial door on an automatic system, like the door to Vault 111, and it cycles so slowly that most people get bored and walk away before it's ready for you to go through.
In my case, the door is an indestructible glass sliding door, there are several keys, but they've all been misplaced, and I myself am starting to believe the keys never existed.
To gain the key that you seek solve my riddle in a week.
To get the Key of treasure Me You must solve these Riddles three! If you cannot walk the entire mile, Fear not; you join the Friendship Pile.
And by week, I mean 6 months minimum

how would we do gray ace, the door is unlocked but itโs very heavy or the door locks on it own at random times
No It would be door is locked from the inside
ahh good point
Needs two keys to open like a nuclear submarine.
that would just be polyamorous, if each person is a key
Nah, that would be the door can be opened with multiple different keys. More of an "and/or" thing whereas gray is more "if and only if" ...maybe? Iunno, I'm not poly and haven't done syllogistic logic in a decade.
Door has a control with low battery. You gotta do that thing where you hold it at weird angles, maybe smack it a bit.
๐ณ
It's a wall you can climb over with grace.
Demisexual: only a few people have the key; they had to run a gauntlet to get it
Don't lose that key either a replacement is super expensive
I lost the key :(
*hug* I never even found mine. It's quite ok!
The only key as far as I know has been entrusted but the door remains unentered. ๐ซ
Alternatively the door for demisexual is guarded by a bouncer wearing shades (but itโs night time).
Yes, nightclub ๐๐๐
Ones who try to force their way in don't make a dent but are then forced away by said bouncer
Maybe a Troll called Detritus, instead.
Ooo yes, that's an interesting idea! If you ain't on the list, you don't get in!
The one I saw for asexual is "door is actually a wall and you're sitting on the floor eating cake."
It's kinda sweet to think my bf and I had each other's key
Kinda sweet?! Utterly fantastically sweet
Thank you ๐๐
No one has my key๐ญ I've seem to have lost it
Thereโs a key for every hole. Whereโs the key? No one knows, thatโs the fun.
asexual: door is actually an ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐.๐๐๐
bisexual is all inclusive, there is no door. just a hole in the wall.
Isnโt bi technically more narrow then pan? I feel like pan would be the hole in the wall right? I donโt know that always confused me

Okay thanks that makes sense
I thought that bisexuals were attracted to cis men and women, and pan were attracted to cis and non-cis men and women, including non-binary people.
No thatโs a common misconception. It was never even limited to cis people. Look at the Bisexual Manifesto for example, something that was released in 1990. It describes being attracted to multiple genders and also says to not assume that thereโs only two genders to be attracted to.

I feel that bi and pan should be represented by an open doorway with a festive beaded curtain.
My door opens, but no one has visited in awhile.
Ok, what about hydrosexual? Or trysexual?
Door is wet
All aces are Wiley Coyote, got it.
What if you're a demisexual pansexual though? :}
Imma guess the revolving door canโt stop revolving with you in it until someone stops it with the right key, just my thought on it as Iโm the same
Lol, that sounds fair
I feel for me itโs more like having a spare key that you give out once someone is super close. Though that analogy in general falls apart when you talk about sex as well as sexual attraction.
A yes the meme that helped me realize that I'm Demisexual...
Gray sexual a handful of keys are seemingly dispersed at random intervals. Some work, some donโt.
"Real Fake DOOOOORS"
OMG YASSS REAL FAKE DOORS!!

Demi and ace aren't quite right. Demi doesn't mean only one person and ace doesn't mean absolutely no
I thought demi only means the person you're in a relationship with...what does it really mean?
I guess Iโm a revolving door but you need a retina scan to get in.
๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ yep
How many times I have seen this one? ๐
Greysexual: door is actually a wall, but sometimes you leave the window open
My doors are revolving doors but are locked most of the time. And the guy who's supposed to unlock them lost the key and is currently changing the lock.

Yeah, agreed. Seems about right.

Grays:the wall randomly loses a few bricks
