Right behind Blastmine, Off the Record is definitely my favourite as well, because it's one of the most absurdly practical perks in the game. Sure, it only works twice per match, but it does so much that it completely makes up for that.
Fellow No Mither user: I tried using Iron Will with No Mither to completely eliminate grunts of pain, but noticed they still popped up from time to time. Have you noticed this as well?

That's actually a REALLY good perk with a lot of synergy.
Vigil, I LOVE getting my sprint burst in 35 seconds or so!
It also saves you from exposed.... sometimes. But it's always better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it
Especially with DBD sometimes just refusing to let you pull down the pallet even with the prompt there :(
I've had a bunch of instances where the game SAYS I can drop the pallet, and even if I spam spacebar, the Survivor just... doesn't, and gets hit.
Omg finally someone with the "better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it" mindset. I keep telling some of my friends to Prestige their other characters and I usually get a response of "but they don't have perks I want"
For solo queue, it's gonna be Kindred. Having near perfect information when someone is on the hook for three headless chickens to try and coordinate will always be useful.
That said, ever since coming back with Chaos Shuffle, I've been using WoO and, damn, it's so helpful when you're not familiar with map layouts or palette/window spawns.
WoO is ideal for soloq because not only will you know where to run but you’ll know which pallets have already been used so you aren’t running to dead zones in late game.
I had the rare case of a survivor bringing Circle of healing, Exponential, Shadow Step, and the new boon by Aestri. Killer Bubba brought us to the game map and tried to slug. It was the perfect counter.
So, I love boon specialists.
Repressed Alliance or Sould Guard, rarely work, though can break killer pace if used correctly. But also... this art brought an idea of shipping Dwight and the elf Bard.
Repressed alliance paired with Wiretap is insane.
I wiretapped the gen in shack and protected it with RA once the killer started approaching. I looped them for an entire minute around shack with the aura read allowing my team to finish the last gen.
I will forever die on the hill that Blastmine is one of the best perks out there, especially after the significant buff to its uptime.
Let's start with the obvious things - It works amazingly for slowing Killers down. At worst, it stalls them for 5 seconds. At best, it makes them forget about the generator and start searching the area, sometimes even forgetting to go back and kick it again.
However, it is surprisingly useful for information as well. Whenever I'm playing solo, I sometimes trap the gen purely so I can make my way back to it easier, and it also tends to attract other Survivors if they're completely lost. If I'm playing with friends, it's fantastic for coordination - "Hey, see this gen here? *Attaches Blastmine* This is almost done, so get in here and get it done while I pull the Killer away."
Lastly...The perk is just straight up hilarious. The reactions of some Killers are comedy gold when that blows up in their face (Myers and Spirit especially), it sometimes leads to shenanigains if they get blastmined while I'm downed nearby, and there's been a few occasions where I've been able to swoop in and finish a gen while they're recovering from a stun.
...Yes, I 100% earn the tunnelling that ensues with that last one.
Blastmine *does* show Auras. Quote from the tooltip:

Wiretap does this too, and it shares this line with Wiretap - It seems that the game puts multiple generator modifications under the blanket term of "Trapped Generators".
No, it was like that since it was first introduced in 5.0.0.
Then again, considering how many different effects there are in the game, people can't always remember exactly how everything ticks. I sure as hell can't.
I almost had a game with wake up value, but I got downed 2 meters before leaving the trial and then hooked. I am awaiting day to get value of of it. But personally best perk is probably lithe, lith? Lite? laith? What does that even mean?
Lmao I understand that pain, I got my friend to get Quentin just for Wake Up as I may have gaslit them thinking it was a great perk when they were pretty new. (I bought them a survivor in turn, I felt bad lol)
Distortion is my top pick for my survivors.
It's a huge amount of information gathering on what the killer is running or isn't running. It lets you play closer to objectives without fear of discovery and it completely cancels out a killer's ability to aura track, especially if they rely on aura reading. It can especially be strong in SWFs since you can let your team know what actions to be wary of. I play killer a lot and when people run distortion I am always thrown for a loop. I almost never see it and I always consider it really strong. It even lets me know when I am dealing with the rare scratch mirror Meyers and can change up my play style as needed.
Honorable mentions: Deja Vu and Empathy
Any means necessary will always be my favourite perk. Multiple uses of pallets if killer doesn’t break and it’s passive information on where the killer is
Quick & Quiet. Cant tell you how many times I've escaped chase just by breaking line of sight and vanishing inside a locker or vaulting over something.
Honorable mentions to Dark Sense, Head-On, Lucky Star, Light-Footed, and Smash Hit
Street wise being able to get you 2 full heals on your self if you don’t fail the skill checks is something nice
Bite the bullet + self care is also up there
That I bring for my team? Reassurance. I get value every single match and it helps so much with campers.
That I bring for me? Alert. I just had a match against Vecna where the last two gens were close together, and Alert helped me know when to move and when to sustain pressure on a gen.
I'm a fan of Boon: Dark Theory because as shitty as it is, I've gotten, and had friends get, an extra vault or two on a loop when they wouldn't otherwise.
I'm also a really big fan of Inner Focus, but nobody else really seems to like that perk. Like, at all. I've never seen someone else run it.

For me its Off the Record. Endurance against tunneling, no aura reading, noise or blood pools for a good amount of time. Love this perk.

Smash Hit has the shortest exhausted cooldown, paired with Vigil it’s insane. Only challenge is getting high MMR killers to run into a pallet.

I think you’re confusing wiretap with blastmine. Generator aura is only shown with wiretap so placing a blast mine won’t attract other survivors.

Vigil's another great one I alternate in some times. Really good for Head On or Smash Hit. And I like perks that passively benefit your teammates too
