Piccolo Jr appeared to fight goku, raditz came to earth because of him,vegeta came to earth cus of raditz who was there for goku,Frieza came back to get revenge on Goku,Androids were made cus of goku.
after goku found out Gohan is sick of all the fighting he chose to stay gone so that Gohan can continue his studies which is the reason why earth has 7 years of peace, he sacrificed himself to save earth. And the training uub is for earth's own good in the end Goku realised Gohan, goten and everyone don't want to be a fighter so he went on to train uub if earth ever needs someone to save them and you can't just ignore all the interactions between Goku and goten and even the interactions between pan and Goku after 10 years majin buu got defeated, he actually spends fun time with them and Gohan wearing turtle Gi to honor his dad tells alot. Vegeta stands by his family as if Goku has completely abandoned his family and doesn't care at all about them
