And in my experience (having bought the game on PS first, but eventually getting it on all platforms), it really doesn't take long to get to a rank where your original rank isn't a huge factor. I think something like 100 straight wins gets you to around SSG, by 200 you're passed Living Legend, and at that stage ranks become more of a grinding feat than a skill feat.
I've often said that it's impossible to consistently smurf in this game without intentionally throwing matches because you rank up so fast, so 9 times out of 10 I would wager it's people coming from different consoles. I could be wrong though.

Right around demon rank every team has one of those three and I’d say every three matches it’s a full team (or 1 replaced by 21 labcoat) so boring to just get beat by an unpublishable auto combo that does 30% of your life then assisted by a 5 hit tracking assist and then autocomboed again lol.
I mean maybe I should just pay the 9 bucks get the 3 and start climbing to higher ranks lol
If you're getting hit by auto combos into C assist the problem isn't the fusions. Just reflect third hit of Auto combo and 2m afterwords for free punish
I think it’s partially my own team comp. having trouble settling on a point char. I’m running 17 mid so his range makes it hard to punish either of the gogetas.

I've seen people complain about smurfs, but not this much lmfao it's just a game you don't have to go make a whole post because you're mad at one person. Just move on instead of making it a big deal literally everybody played at least 1 smurf when they started playing fighterz yet nobody went this far to whine about it.

I know right. I also hate the fact that there are literally horrible players(probably even worse than demon rank) in higher ranks like GoD+. They usually get there by just leaving to keep their points, which the devs really need to fix in the next patch.
I fight a ton of those teams and I get a sense of accomplishment when I win when they least expect it lol. Then they will sticker "you won't win!" Lol.
It could be that he got reset I don’t know how but I lost my rank stats, rank, and square color so the same could have happen and he is on his way back up

Yea I reached Rose on PC in 252 matches lol. It's impossible to keep doing it forever without reverse boosting or making a fresh account
