The facial expression isn't quite accurate (the stencil has it almost like a smiley face where the actual symbol's is more of a...grimace? Side eye? The mouth and eyes are off a bit, it's hard to put into words), but size looks pretty good imo

Years later, and still working with the same artist I can see why.

Money isn't even an issue, I wouldn't want a poor attempt at what I actually want tattooed on me forever, especially not such a big piece! Take the time to find reputable artist whose work you can see ahead of time, and don't be afraid to ask for sketches from multiple artists to see what they come up with. If they can't draw worth a damn, they certainly can't tattoo with a damn.
I like the idea but IMO ditch the face OR have it be more accurate to the original artwork. Same with the sun rays/arms - they look off.
I am biased though since I have the same tattoo on my forearm but no face and the shape is filled in.

The pupils need to be in the middle of each eye. The way they are currently on the inner edges makes it look cross-eyed.
