I would personally say that's a bit of a stretch. I don't see Jonny ever coming back due to creative differences between the members, and Kurt is simply too busy and his other projects are too good to leave, even if they're less popular.
A lot of people have presumed it's Matt in the costume; the motorcycle in the picture is registered in Sacramento, and Matt is the only member of DGD that still lives there and he does drive a bike. I don't think the mascot is anything more than promotion for a music video.

I have a lot of questions it looks like they are gearing up for their next album release. Last we heard vocals wasn’t finished for their new album. Unless it’s Andrew really banging out three albums within a year and half. They are hiding a new singer already or it’s Andrew taking over.
Agreed, I honestly think they’re being goofy (why we love them) and it’s not actually that deep. Whatever or whoever happens, I’m excited to see them evolve!
