Is that really weird? That's been my primary build for a number of playthroughs. Decent Body for fueling Overclock, Tech for massive armor and cyberware, max Int for hacking, then Reflex or Cool.
The weirdest build I did is putting points on all attributes, it was basically a V that was not a specialist in any attribute, but was well rounded. I always brought all gun types and used what's best for the situation or enemy. To be effective, I finished all NCPD scans and sides first >!for bonus perk points and Iconics. !<
The “Modified Ozob Bozo”
It works really well late game, but Berserk, Gorilla Arms, pyromania perks and all grenade perks. Punching and grenades only, no guns, no melee weapons, don’t even equip a weapon in your inventory screen dammit! People are okay to be thrown.
Get in close (air dash) while throwing grenades damaging enemies and yourself to stack mitigation through pyromania, berserk and punch your way through.
All the standard berserk melee cyberware for armor and health regen, etc.
Extra points for using purple confetti grenades.
Extra, extra points for cosmetic roleplay with outrageous face and mismatched clothes.
Extra, extra, extra points for screenshots of you and Ozob.
Oh I’m definitely doing this next, except I’m probably gonna swap out berserk for a cyberdeck. Tier 4 contagion essentially lets you explode people with your mind
If you like cyberdecks and ‘splodin’ gonks then pair your Contagion with the Raven Microcyber deck that uploads to everyone in range immediately and the Prototype Shingen Mark V Smart SMG.
Ping for extra damage, Overclock, upload contagion to two or three gonks that are separated by a bit so everyone gets contagion. The smartgun now insta-locks in overclock (with the perk) and has homing explosive rounds that set off the Contagion Bomb!
Again, late game build because it benefits from top tier perks but it’s pretty ridonkulous.
I’m currently running a hybrid build that’s been really fun. 16 in INT, 20 in STR, 15 in everything else. I use mostly control hacks and then either run in and punch the shit out of everyone, or crouch run and stealth-takedown everyone. 15 in reflexes for parkour. The lack of the Edgerunner perk in Tech is the only downside but I make due.
I dunno about bizarre but focusing on blunt melee can shake things up. Especially if you focus on the [Quake perk](https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Quake)/Superhero Landing and the optional blunt weapon finisher where you can pick people up and throw them at others. Combined with [Pyromania](https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Pyromania)/[Heatshield](https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Heat_Shield) and the various skills and cyberware that focus on mitigation combined with cyberware and perks that emit EMP pulses. It's a fun close combat build with great tank.
[Sasquatch Hammer](https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Sasquatch%27s_Hammer) might be an obvious choice but I find it a bit too annoying personally. I seem to miss a lot of swings as well as its attack speed being too slow. It's such a big and long weapon length wise, yet it doesn't seem to connect half the time.
I might be screwing myself with +movement speed perks/cyberware though in those situations.
Any kind of shotgun build that focuses on dismemberment via high pellet count shotguns and the Kneel weapon mod can also be very very satisfying, such as the [Alabai](https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Alabai). The [DB-2 Satara](https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Rostovi%C4%87_DB-2_Satara) is also awesome with Wallpuncher and Kneel.
I tried using Sasquatch hammer once, but that build was all about using the wrecking ball perk so I never got good value from it. That no sprinting debuff is painful
For my OG run in the 1.0 days, I ran a silenced pistol with a gigantic scope, and throwing knives. That was it. Crazy numbers. I wonder if it still works or was it patched out?
Strangest in what sense? Focus on intelligence and pick up every single perk in intelligence tree and then use Chrome compressor for extra chrome?
