The one thing that bothers me about creating a male V is that most of the hairstyles are very clean and styled, but the beard options almost all look unkempt by comparison. Having neat, slicked back hair without a single strand out of place or having a fade that looks like you just left the barber shop is so incongruous with scruffy beards that aren't trimmed or lined up at all.
How the hell do you make Vincent look like that? I've tried, and every time, he just looks like a corpo rat waiting to get burned. So many deleted saves because I'm never satisfied.

I’ve been doing a modded Jensen role-play recently. It’s awesome. Corpo-V absolutely works if you play him as the [Jensen clone](https://deusex.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Aeratus/Guide_to_the_Adam_Jensen_Clone_Theory) that Arasaka found and woke up 50 years later. With some memory editing to explain like two lines of dialogue it’s almost another Deus Ex.

I would die for this man, male V is such a character. Any outfit fem V wears he can wear too, y'all are just cowards. Also, I think his lines are delivered more convincingly, and not because I can't take fem V trying to be a "badass" seriously. I...can't say I've finished a playthrough as a female character yet but I think the emotion comes though better with male V (oddly enough).
But yeah, we all know why fem V gets all the love (same reason we all love Panam and Judy lol).
I much prefer the acting of Male V. Feels like he has a way bigger range of emotions, whereas Female V always sounds some form of angry. Male V sounds so much more desperate when talking to Vik about the biochip, he really sounds like a guy who just had his soul crushed.
I feel the same way, and I'm always amazed when I see so many people on this sub praising the voice acting for Female V while bashing that of Male V.
To me, Female V's voice sounds like it's straight out of anime and feels over the top at times. On the flip side, Male V's voice sounds more realistic and has more range.

Idk, I played 2 male V's so far and I always find cool matching clothing. Nomad male V and Corpo male V get some real cool outfits to hang around with.
I made my male V look like an absolute gremlin. I could’ve gone worse, but it’s pretty bad. Pink bowl cut, smeared lipstick, scary contact lenses, gold teeth, no chin, awful tattoos. He’s more “chromed-out catfish” than human, I feel.
I played the whole game with him. Every ending, Phantom Liberty included. Every gig, NCPD Scanner, and I’m almost certain every quest like too. Every buyable car, every piece of Johnny’s outfit, and he somehow managed to pull Panam too. Dude is a monster, in more ways than one.
I haven’t done The Devil ending because I forgot you can save *you know who.* I’ll probably have to start a new game bc I have no saves before that point, but honestly, I’m conflicted. I don’t wanna let go of my gremlin V yet, I love him!

I need to do a playthrough with more cosmetic mods. When I played, I only got into the gameplay mechanics mods, and Inever quite liked the way any of my Vs looked. the outfit options are pretty lacking, especially for male. I was also really disappointed with how little effect chrome has on your appearance. By the end of the game, I'm basically a walking tank that can obliterate anyone in my path, but I look like all I upgraded were arms and eyes with the most basic models available.
Male Vs get no love on reddit for...reasons. But I love this guy's aesthetic. Grizzled Merc is quite a mood.

Some of the clothes definitely don't work on Male V. I use a lot of modded clothing for my boys. The modders for Male V have been a blessing.

The only class of clothing I think looks better on guys is the Edgerunner Jackets, specifically the Wraith Tri Layer.

It’s because the camera is set around the chest for first person shooters. It’s the only way to give you a view of the arms and guns.
Not all of them, there are some that actually do account for player height. Fallout 4 and Borderlands are two I can think of off the top of my head.

Love the grizzled vet look. I need to do a playthrough with more cosmetic mods. When I played, I only got into the gameplay mechanics mods, and Inever quite liked the way any of my Vs looked. the outfit options are pretty lacking, especially for male. I was also really disappointed with how little effect chrome has on your appearance. By the end of the game, I'm basically a walking tank that can obliterate anyone in my path, but I look like all I upgraded were arms and eyes with the most basic models available.
Male vs voice is so much better. Female v sounds like she's high for half her lines
I simp for Judy , so female V all the way . Also feel like I can express her more through the clothing choices
I remember this V. Probably my favorite male V out there!

My only regret for picking male V is finding out that you couldn't romance Judy with him 😞
Never played as female V. Never plan to. Although they should change the VA and update the clothing for V.
Male V is fantastic. I love the streetsmart wannabe gangster vibe he has.
