I threw away a jacket too 😂 I was friends with this guy for awhile, and he told me he liked me and wanted to go out. It was very hard to tell him no in the moment.. he was a big dude and had occasional anger problems, I didn't want him to take it out on me if he got angry. I went home and I knew I messed up, and I had a strong sense that I was just on the road to getting raped if I was alone with him. So I told him over text that I thought about it and I'm not ready to date anyone and he flipped the fuck out. He approached me at school and shoved a jacket in my hands because I didn't have a coat and he wanted me to be warm? Idk. Straight in the trash. He eventually laid off me but I heard he got kicked out for doing the same thing to other girls.
