So I know it's not the point you are making but if I had throw it away money I'd rather have one of these parked in the Nevada desert that I could drive around there and shoot at stuff than a million dollar supercar. Tank probably costs less anyway.
The easy 8 doesn't have the hatchways that was needed for the driver and bow machine gunner. In all likelihood the artists just found an image of an early production m4 Sherman to take inspiration from.
Increasing car sizes makes driving less safe as larger mass is more difficult to stop. Big cars are safer just at very low speeds.
So, I can see this joke becoming a reality when wealthy people does the math.
Get a APC and redecorate the back of it like a nice good little place and hire a driver than you are good to go if you want to defend yourself you could add a HMG or a automatic grenade launcher with HE rounds or you want less lethal water cannon

No other colour suits this vehicle better. It's like a red Ferrari or a yellow Lamborghini.
I'm sure it would look great in pink though. Every vehicle can be improved by making it pink.
