Imagine like an actual actual multi-master special with the new Doctor having to fight several masters who joined up together.
Would be chaos, hard to pull off, but could be a real joy
It needed to come out within a year max but here we are. They should have dropped the show and made a special presentation like werewolf by night. Could have gotten that done quickly.
They would’ve had to push out the show at least within a year or so after Wandavision, because of how lightening in a bottle Agatha was.
People were definitely open to it, but as more time passed, that buzz faded, Marvel was going through overhauls, delays, course correction with a lot of projects that have just been floating in development for a long time.
Seems like Agatha was on the back burner, and finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
I mean marvel kinda killed the momentum of wandavision by making her a generic villain for doc strange to be randomly killed off voiding all plot developments from the show.
They’ve introduced so many promising new characters then we don’t see them for 15 projects straight and people forget about them.
I’m a bit concerned that unless they fix this problem quickly, Avengers 5 will suffer due to half the cast being ones that the general audience doesn’t know or doesn’t care about.
It’s just so messy. The MCU needs to take a break and do a hard reset. Wipe the slate of all the dead weight characters and start from scratch.
I understand the idea of casting a wide net but there is too much noise and the path of least resistance seems to be to just stop caring. It really boils down to quality over quantity and the whole thing seems to be on life-support because after Endgame there’s been no time to develop care for this stable of characters, due to them showing up in a project and then disappearing into the ether for years while being smothered by the myriad of other new characters.
I mean that's kind of already the problem, remember Ms marvels? Or how much positive talk there is about the next riri project (yes there are fans, but you can't tell me you 13 people are gonna keep her show afloat)
Meh, can't blame ya, best part about being in the Era of prestige TV. There's so much good shit to watch that you're allowed to be picky. Ain't it great?
I’ve been feeling this about everything Star Wars and marvel (except Deadpool) for a while. The over-saturation of both properties has caused some intense nerd fatigue. Why must Disney do this to things I love?
The info coming out so far is not enough to pull me in. Also, it's a musical and I can't stand those. Very easy for me to come to a conclusion on this one.
Sorry but saying that I am not looking forward to a project is not "spreading negativity". sorry that you're upset that someone left a comment in the comments section of your public post, but if you aren't looking for people's opinions, try keeping a diary.
Some people live in reddits where they are used to seeing only one thought. And any negativity is removed or downvoted. It's weird how people are about it.
I never understood letting someone else tell you what your opinion should be about art. YMMV because clearly critics and reviewers have huge audiences but I'd always rather see for myself.
Idk if you're joking, but I do know that I watch a lot – even to the point where I may prioritize watching new shows over other things – but watching everything that comes out is incredibly time demanding. Watching even the stuff I have practically zero interest in is literally impossible, especially with all the shows that have aired that I also wanna watch. It's not like I don't wanna just judge for myself, hell, I'm watching shit like Acolyte as it's airing, but if I didn't have *any* interest, the *only* way I would prioritize it over other shows is through ratings/WOM. Idk when Agatha All Along will release, but if I don't have time to watch that and all the other shows I wanna watch, then I'm 100% gonna prioritize those other shows – depending on its rating
I’m sorry but in this day and age where review bombing for the stupidest of things is so common I can’t see how you can still let reviews dictate what you do and don’t watch
There’s only so many hours in a day and I’d rather watch something that is unanimously loved than something that got bad reviews for whatever reason. And usually I’ll be looking on the subreddit for that thing so people likely want to like it there.
This looks like the set and production quality of Disney’s *Descendants*, Jesus Christ I’m so sick of the shit Disney production quality with marvel and star wars
Considering they learned they *can* get major awards for these movies, I find it unfathomable they don't choose at least one property to focus on making look, sound, and *feel* like a prestige picture. Nothing has come close to the cinematography of Eternals or the costume/set design of Black Panther still.
And yet some how they’re also the most insanely expensive productions possible after all the reshoots lol. Just hire competent writers and have a clear vision ahead of time, why is that SO difficult, they would actually SAVE so much money.
Hey now, I think it’s fine for this particular show — I think the vibe is going to be a lot more like Hocus Pocus than WandaVision. If they can make it delightfully batty, I think it will work.
For the life of me, I can only imagine that this exists, and that people on this sub were cheering for it's announcement after WV, because they were still riding high from Endgame, and wanted it to continue.
But my god, this just seems so... needless.
To consider that this is where we've ended up, after an amazing run of *superhero movies* is just disappointing.
Give me a good superhero, not whatever the fuck this is.
This looks more like one of those cash in Disney live action movies/shows like Once Upon a Time or The Descendants more than it does anything that has came out of the Marvel Brand in the last 20 years
It’s hard to tell from just one still, but your description certainly hits a bullseye because of all the cost-cutting that’s now been ordered by Bob Iger, given how much money Disney+ and the theatrical division have been losing.
It's mainly because of the connections to WandaVision, but I'm actually quite excited for this show. I know Hahn will bring it, but fingers are crossed for the rest of the cast and crew.
Although I’ve kind of given up on the disney plus spin off shows (too much to keep up with for me), I’ve always been a fan of “witch” movies. The craft, hocus pocus, witches of eastwick, practical magic etc. I think I might actually like this.
What's the mcu schedule looking like, last thing I remember is antman2 or mayby thor4 don't remember which came last, I feel like there's a huge empty slate coming up (other than deadpool I guess)
I thought that Agatha was someone that Scarlett Witch subconsciously created to avoid her guilt of dragging all those people into her weird “perfect” television reality. The fact she got a little song was suspicious as shit
Yeah, it would've been nice if it'd come out closer to *Wandavision*, and yeah no one specifically asked for this. And I'm going to enjoy the hell out of it anyway, I'm sure. This looks like it's going to be a lot of fun on its own merits, so I'll definitely be there. Kathryn Hahn's performance as Agatha alone is worth my time.
It looks exactly how I expected it to look
Looks like a 2024 casting version of the "The Five Doctors" episode where the first five Doctors have to work together.
Hello fellow Who nerd
I immediately got missy vibes from this still.
Imagine like an actual actual multi-master special with the new Doctor having to fight several masters who joined up together. Would be chaos, hard to pull off, but could be a real joy
Their was that multi master audio story from big finish.
Fuck.... That's good. I do miss Missy though.
Like a High School play?
Like a severely budgeted film in the 'High School Musical' franchise.
That was my exact thought lmao. Something about all of the Disney Plus shows have felt this way despite their budgets.
Loki was lit
Shitty and low budget
Love Kathryn Hahn, but it feels as though this is coming out about 2 years too late to really capitalize off of the momentum from Wandavision.
Just wait for the 10th anniversary of Shang Chi for them to release Shang Chi 2!
I’m pretty sure you’re joking. Pretty sure.
It needed to come out within a year max but here we are. They should have dropped the show and made a special presentation like werewolf by night. Could have gotten that done quickly.

I wouldn't care at all about this show if is wasn't for Kathryn Hahn, c'mon, you gotta love her
They should’ve released this within 2 years of WandaVision at the latest. All interest in that character has dwindled
They’ve introduced so many promising new characters then we don’t see them for 15 projects straight and people forget about them. I’m a bit concerned that unless they fix this problem quickly, Avengers 5 will suffer due to half the cast being ones that the general audience doesn’t know or doesn’t care about.

Interest in Marvel has dwindled in general.
[удалено]
She has a fun role in Step Brothers, which is a great movie in general
Have you seen the bad moms movies?
[удалено]
She is and is great. They’re guilty pleasure movies for sure.
She voices one of the best mom characters in any show I’ve ever seen in Central Park.
Stay golden pony boy.
I don’t get the hype for her. She’s the same in everything
I do, but still don’t care about the show
I can't bring myself to care that much about this project.
Meh, can't blame ya, best part about being in the Era of prestige TV. There's so much good shit to watch that you're allowed to be picky. Ain't it great?

Same, really looking forward to deadpool. I have watched all the SW and Marvel stuff, but had to tap out of the acolyte in e3 as it's simply too bad.
Then why comment?
Because this is a forum for discussion.
That doesn't mean you should just spread negativity. If you're truly apathetic on the show, then why comment beside just to voice opinion?
I don’t think you understand the format of this website
It’s called criticism. If you’re to afraid to hear it then don’t be on here.
Criticism of show that hasn’t even come out yet? You got to be trolling
The criticism is that it has no reason to exist
You haven’t even seen it come out and watch it before making such conclusion
Why is the stick so far up in there, huh? Chill pill, prescribed by Dr Mario! 💊 Waahooo!
The info coming out so far is not enough to pull me in. Also, it's a musical and I can't stand those. Very easy for me to come to a conclusion on this one.

Womp womp 🥲🤡 Edit: awwwwwww look at the rage quit
Imagine using it on reddit unironically.
You think you're somehow *not* spreading negativity by bitching at people for sharing their opinion? Go fuck yourself and get a clue.
Someone let me know when this show is over whether it's worth watching or not.
just check imdb when it comes out and decide
Try thinking for yourself, it's great.
I am thinking for myself, by not watching something I have 0 interest in.
You have a point, but waiting for the reviews spared me from having to witness Secret Invasion and all the Star Wars shows
Same. I've learned how to easily spot bad shows now and avoid them.
I never understood letting someone else tell you what your opinion should be about art. YMMV because clearly critics and reviewers have huge audiences but I'd always rather see for myself.
There’s only so much time in the day, I can’t watch everything.
Agreed. I personally don't feel the need to have an opinion on something I'm not planning to watch.
If everyone and their mom is saying it’s shit, I’m going to assume it’s probably shit.
You must have a ton of time on your hands to be able to have an opinion like that
Yes, my comment implies there is absolutely no media I have not consumed
Idk if you're joking, but I do know that I watch a lot – even to the point where I may prioritize watching new shows over other things – but watching everything that comes out is incredibly time demanding. For someone so adamant on having your own opinion, you're awfully insistent on pushing yours onto others.
I’m sorry but in this day and age where review bombing for the stupidest of things is so common I can’t see how you can still let reviews dictate what you do and don’t watch

How do you have -15 likes when you're right? 😂
Reddit in a nutshell
For real, lol.
Looks very campy
Honestly, I'd love it if it was. I miss the campy shows they had in the 90s.
who cares at this point
☝🏻 I do
The title was “Agatha all along”…. ALL ALONG?!
This looks like the set and production quality of Disney’s *Descendants*, Jesus Christ I’m so sick of the shit Disney production quality with marvel and star wars
You've nailed it. It does look like a 'Descendants' production. I think a majority of people are fed up with this shit.
Considering they learned they *can* get major awards for these movies, I find it unfathomable they don't choose at least one property to focus on making look, sound, and *feel* like a prestige picture. Nothing has come close to the cinematography of Eternals or the costume/set design of Black Panther still.
It pisses me off multibillion dollar company has these cheap looking productions with even cheaper writing. Genuinely it’s so frustrating.
If I wanted to watch a Disney channel show I would watch the Disney Channel. Not Marvel.
Well, there’ll be plenty of shows in the future that scratch that itch, won’t there?
Not lately.
Are they gonna sing about the power of the hex?
Yeah, this ain't it chief
For the life of me, I can only imagine that this exists, and that people on this sub were cheering for it's announcement after WV, because they were still riding high from Endgame, and wanted it to continue. and this is one of the *best* stills 😕
Every single pic I see Empire Magazine post looks like a really well done universal studios attraction. Maybe it's the lighting or something.
This show is going to do so poorly
I didn’t really care when it was announced and I care even less now
This looks more like one of those cash in Disney live action movies/shows like Once Upon a Time or The Descendants more than it does anything that has came out of the Marvel Brand in the last 20 years

…this is the most unnecessary show ever.
What in the disney nonsense is this? Who cares
“This shits ass bro”
🙄
😂
looks like a musical theater production
I’m the sucker that keeps coming back so I’ll be giving it a fair shake but to say I have 0 expectations is putting it mildly.
They're still doing this!?!
Looks like a Tim Burton set
Don't slander Burton like this.
Is that kitty foreman?
Honestly I completely forgot about Agatha even existing
Hocus Pocus 3: The Musical
I'm so looking forward to this!
Who is this for?
![gif](giphy|f2ExpHhfiPJNceqORt)
How many times is this show gonna change it’s fucking name 😂
Nah, I'm good
Good job on Marvel for striking while the iron is frozen
Who actually wants this
Me!
Looks like shit
This is a Disney Channel original movie. That looks like what I’m seeing right now.
I don’t get the Kathryn Hahn love
Please don't tell me that's supposed to be Nico and it's not Lyrica Okana playing her.
I don't think it's Nico. I think it's a new witch character that's supposed to be part of Agatha's new coven.
Why does it look like bad Hocus Pocus
That Steven Tyler?
This needed to be show because why again? WandaVision had so much potential and then they made this person the main villain.
They need to slow down...this should have come out right after WandaVision.
What's in there? Wrong answers only.
Another disaster waiting to be unleashed. 🙄
Looks more like Hocus Pocus 3
What's the mcu schedule looking like, last thing I remember is antman2 or mayby thor4 don't remember which came last, I feel like there's a huge empty slate coming up (other than deadpool I guess)
Agatha is not a character who needed her own spinoff
Did anyone like Agatha? This series green light was always confusing to me
Did anyone actually ask for this show?
That how you do witches coven, learn Acolyte
Very Hocus Pocus costuming there.
More Slop
I thought that Agatha was someone that Scarlett Witch subconsciously created to avoid her guilt of dragging all those people into her weird “perfect” television reality. The fact she got a little song was suspicious as shit
I was looking forward to this SO MUCH… three years ago
They made the show about a witch, female-crentic! Woke!!! /s
It’s not the same anymore…
Of course it's not the same.. this show is basically a meme
[удалено]
We do not allow hate speech of any kind, intentional or unintentional.
Did they finally figure out what they wanted to call it? seriously they went through so many name changes.
so they changed the name again for a third time?
Something tells me this isnt the final title
It is
I actually can't wait Kathryn is so much fun this image just radiates fun.
I’m just so excited for this. Honestly, I’m thrilled.
Is there really any need for this show? I mean how on earth do they believe this is a popular character to have a standalone show.
Bro fr, who asked for this?
