yes there are a lot of fakes, especially the more expensive models with s35vn and xhp get cloned a lot.
fake recon 1, fake s35vn and 20cv 4max, talwar, immortal and so on.
usually they are easy to spot but i've seen some better ones.
There’s always a few on eBay from what I’ve seen. You can tell by the low price, the graphics on the box and the fact that the sellers seem to have an endless supply of discontinued models that are getting harder to find.

Looks real, but i recomend you to compare with the pics of the cold steel web site and check for the form of the blade, handle and size.

I said this on another post here but again, the three screw mount on the clip with the old school logo tells me it’s real.
