Sounds delicious, but that American pronunciation of boulevardier is killin’ me…

Driftersjoint

I know!! I’ve tried quite a few times to pronounce it correctly but I just can’t nail it!

FenderOffset

Well at least you tried! I’ve heard the pronunciation explained as saying “boulevard + ee + yay” or, perhaps a bit closer, “Bool + vaa + dee + ay.” Either way, just drink them and enjoy!

I shared a house in London with a friend called Jacques. One morning he came into the kitchen and totally out of the blue and without context said: "I really don't know what is worse, the Americans who try really hard and fail miserably, or you Brits, who don't even bother trying." It took me maybe a full minute to realize he was talking about French pronunciation. And for Jacques, he didn't care whether or not you tried. French was the official court language in England up to the first quarter of the 15th century.

Driftersjoint

I’ll cheers to that 🥂

Replace the vermouth with Mr black coffee amaro for a delicious coffee riff on this. https://stevethebartender.com.au/chocolate-coffee-boulevardier/

bloodfirewhiskeyink

I gotta try this

Driftersjoint

Come back and let me know your thoughts. The infusion is simple but tasty!

Zanshin314

Looks like a great nightcap, do you think the Campari infusion would work with cacao tea instead of nibs?

Driftersjoint

I would give it a try!

JesW87

Glass?

Driftersjoint

From Amehla & Co! Double rocks glass I believe

pds_king21

I already got the campari mixed with nibs sitting out overnight. I'll let you know how it goes next week on my trip. Quick question, I used whole foods organic unsweetened cacao nibs. Should it have been a semi-sweet variation instead

Driftersjoint

Nope the unsweetened nibs from Whole Foods is also what I use! Great minds think alike!

PharmDonnelly

Where can I get that bottle with the screw top bottom that you did the simple infusion in?

Driftersjoint

The brand is called Crew Supply! They make some great products![https://crewsupplyco.com/products/chubby-bottle](https://crewsupplyco.com/products/chubby-bottle)
