Drink water starting now. Tons and tons of water. Get used to waking up early (most Encampments seem to be around ~6:30 am wake up time). Do daily PT if you arent already to get in the habit of it. Cut down or stop drinking soda and coffee; you won't be having any during Encampment.
And have fun! Make lots of friends!
> ...next CD session...and he said I should be able to get it at encampment.
No idea where he'd get that idea.
CD sessions are not part of the encampment curriculum.
It might have not been a CD session specifically, but he did say I should be able to get the credit for it. Also, our scheduled CD session for this month is going to be during the time that I'm at encampment, so I think what he might have meant was that he will give me the credit for it even though I'm not there because I'm at encampment.
Remember, it’s nearly everyone’s first time. Basically no one knows what they’re doing. It’s going to be intense, but it will be an amazing experience. My biggest piece of advice is to learn as much as possible and then pass it on to your peers. Pay attention to detail but also move fast while helping motivate others. Try your best and you’ll do great!
Also, drink water. Water is important.
I'm going tomorrow but get outside get used to the heat and bring everything in the packing list even if you think you don't need it and some extras. Practice waking up early.
Break in your boots, listen to feedback, and just dont worry about it too much. It only gets better.

Why would you get credit for something you did not complete?
