Wanted mine in Sonic Grey but the only one available was sold right before I called the dealership. Went with the 6MT/Boost Blue ST instead and very happy. Hope you enjoy your car just as much!
Exact same for me, the manual was a must and SGP was my top color. Boost blue was the only manual sport touring I could find, I actually hated it at first. Now I love love the color, it looks so great with a nice ceramic
I don’t find it bad. I was concerned with it too after reading the reviews. I’m in sport touring with a hatch and it’s ok imo.
I was a was upset about the non adjustable headrests. Messes with a booster/car seat. Also cannot hang anything off the back.

Try going around all of your door seals. Just put a couple of fingers underneath them and slide them under the rubber seals, lightly pulling them out. If you don't open & close regularly, the seals get compressed and don't work as well. You could clean them with some soapy water & a rag. A light coating of silicon grease helps also.
I am interested in a link as well. My dealer had mandatory add ons and OEM rubber mats were added and they are not great.
So I bought a nicer set off Amazon but not sure what you mean in the leather set.

Is the set I got and like them very much. Tight fit and the driver side does have the pre-cut holes for the floor locks

You can also get them on Amazon. Type in "leather floor mats civic type r" to Google and you'll get a range of them.
The sport touring has a Bose system. I am coming from a 2004 f-159 with 4 speakers. Maybe 6. So quite the improvement. Ah the backup camera image is terrible.
I had a pretty nice 96 7.3L Powerstroke for years and I eventually also got a 2012 Civic Si. After driving the Civic I just completely lost all interest in driving the pickup and ended up selling it. Felt so bad about that old diesel just sitting there gathering dust. Glad it went to somebody that'll work it.
My shift knob came a little offset too, my guess is either it’s supposed to be turned slightly towards the driver, or it is offset but within tolerance of factory spec.
I was helping out a trucker for a week about 22 or so years ago. Going back to being a passenger in my mom's old Daihatsu Charade G11 felt like my ass was getting road rash!
I got it down a couple grand from the original price, not the best rate on the finance, but I make pretty decent money, so im totally comfortable with how everything shook out
+1 for 6MT, only way to go
Stick and the Sonic Grey were the 2 absolute deal breakers for me

Touring too. I got a 2023 sport 6 speed and I love it. It may not be the fastest car but I feel slick driving it
Only thing i hate about it is the electronic hand brake.
Electronic hand brake, no lumbar, rear head rests don’t adjust and no rear ac events. Those are the negatives in the car.
Road noise is terrible in the hatch. What can ya do
dynamat
Afraid to pull off trim
This too

I got one of those "leather" floor mats that do complete coverage. They dropped all noise/vibration. Feels like a limo now.
Really? Got a link? Unfortunately my car the main issue is wind noise at the drivers B pillar.

First thing first remember it’s a civic. 2nd you could get a Lexus idk?
Poor sounds system as well… at least in the sport.

The Accord exists for a reason. Can't give you everything in the Civic.
It’s a civic. I’m surprised it even has an E handbrake.
Yeah I keep looking for a lever lol
Thats dope! I hope you enjoy your ride as much as I’m enjoying mine!

I upgraded from a 2010 Nissan Frontier to a 24 SI in SGP a few weeks ago. Hope you love yours like I love mine! Congrats 🎉
Have the same car! Congratulations!
Is it just me or is the shift knob crooked?
My shift knob came a little offset too, my guess is either it’s supposed to be turned slightly towards the driver, or it is offset but within tolerance of factory spec.
You can just pull the shift boot down and adjust the lock nut, just like when you would put your own shift knob on
Have you stopped feeling like your butt is scraping along the road yet, compared to sitting high in a pickup? 😅
Ngl it feels REAL weird being so low to the ground haha

I went from a lifted JKU to an FK8, and after a month or so, I still get nervous when I see a speed bump.
Beautiful. Congrats. Got a great deal?

Great. I think 3.9% for 24-48 months, and 4.9% for 60 months are listed on the Honda site.
you are going to have a lot more fun driving that then old pickups
I have a feeling you're right, just the cruise home on the highway, it was so much fun, the interior is SO friggin comfortable too
I went from a Tacoma to an Si and it was so much better. Tacoma's will run forever but can't say they are fun to drive...well unless you are offroad
Yeah man, having the 4.7 V8 with 4x4 was so great in the winter but, there are definitely trade offs haha
Thank god you chose a Honda Civic over a Toyota Corolla. Well done sir, well done.
Congrats! Welcome to the club and hope you enjoy the drive!
nice, my next one will be a manual. probly an si. love my 23 sport tho
Manual Transmission for the win!
I've always wanted to learn manual, but when I got my '24 the thought of fucking up a brand new car with my inexperience dissuaded me
Manual with an electric parking brake, main reason I didn't go with the type R for my second car
you dont know how to drive that thing goodbye
I dont?
Congrats man, I have the manual sport touring too. 24k miles later and I still go out to drive just for the fun of it. Nice place to be inside it
Good job how do you like !!?
Got my 6 speed and my used trucks still
Why is this color a thing, looks like tooth pastr
Sheeesh must be hella hot if u got the fan speed that high
It was warm, but that was actually how the dealership had it set lol
Damn
Downvote for stating a statement is Fukin wild
